  1. In the rare case you happen to find a buckthorn, spare claw, humidify runes, have no available altar - yes it would be worth making a rejuv pot losslessly. But that's of course after you've made dino armour & done all the more important things. I carry all seconds and waterfilled vials around anyway so it doesn't take extra time. Besides, i don't have much use for dino armor, and it's not very effective to make it while using melee combat(lowers dps or makes you unable to safespot/sidestep/etc).
  2. Cool kids make themselves strong rejuvs to do thundy without altar, and some less cool players(see: platebeard) will die to thundy drinking the potions.
  3. OH PLEASE DO IT! A separate window of the dg map updating itself(probably every 30 seconds) would be almost infinitely useful for dungeoneering- knowing where everything is all the time would, in all likelyhood, also decrease the need for the key map. I know of atleast a few people who are having major problems with using the map in dungeons(myself included, usually never looking at the map in a dungeon). How do you never look at the map in a dungeon and still know where to go? And the map won't be updated unless you actually open the rs map in the first place. I don't know where i am, but when i'm dpsing, it really isn't important as long as i remember a few junctions in the dungeon. Having the map up would help alot for keying, however. As for the updating, assuming it would click the map and close it in a tick thereafter, there really shouldn't be a problem with auto-updating, atleast as far as i know.
  4. DON'T SIGN YOUR LIFE AWAY, JIMI! Just don't do it... I really hope everything works out for you and you can finally get into a university. Your goals in that department seem very legit and you should really try your hardest to make it. Becoming an electrician would just be giving your life up... :???: Is dat fo reals? I really can't imagine a situation in which this subject would come up when talking to a girl i liked... I mean, farming, runecrafting levels, maybe, but dungeoneering?? Oh, and good job implying that your current GF is a [bleep]. I only sent her a link of this blog 2 days ago

  6. I thought you were gonna suggest that I have them multi-log 24/27 and make a few maxed accounts. So it was actually a runescape related decision afterall... Jimi knew that the only way he can compete with a woman(enaid, in this example) is by cheating, so he decides to make alot of hairy, mathematically [developmentally delayed]ed babies who will grind his way to max out! Only one thing to say, Enaid.... THE RACE IS ON! Oh, and no stoarey tiem and no RS?? wat is even dis, den?
  7. Other than adding a deletion, base and boss rooms to the interferance, it's perfect. Will definitely be using it. Thank you very much, wicked.
  8. It's definitely one of the last chaotic weapons you want to own- i got mine just to test at crawelers and so far, i've been disappointing.
  9. In a perfect case scenario, 2h is made completely obsolete by rapier, baxe, ccs and hex, so, in all likelyhood, the perfect binds would be 5x baxe+2 hex+ccs+(rapier)+1-2 blood neck for teams with 3 binds(which is most of dungeoneering) with everyone having either arrows or csb's bound(and the keyer having the second hex). You could also switch one rapier or neck to have plate as a keyer, but it's really down to preference. With 4 binds, the hexes would get sagi bodies, ccs/rapiers would get blood necklaces and people with necks would get either plate for keying or gauntlets for more dps. Assuming it's a maxed team, the keyer would definitely not get the most skilling xp as he'd have the least amount of downtime and skill room/door xp is divided between the people that have the necessary levels.
  10. Yeah, lets ignore the fact that the best moderator of all time, mr jimmy jim(the third) has been promoted to administration and focus on something rosey. How are the cupcakes?
  11. Your example is completely out of context as we are not asking for all drops to be only visible, atleast at first, to the person who did the most damage. The fact of the matter is, the drop systems in mainland rs and daemonheim are different, and both systems work uniformly. Should slayer drops only be seen by people who have the levels? probably, but given that there would be questions weather people who have the levels and do no damage should be able to get the drops and the fact that there are only 2 significant drops, it's really not a major issue. When dgs had the one issue with this problem, the person with 99 slayer was atleast half to blame for it(for not telling people to get out of the room). Right now, soulgazers are a good test of loyalty for people who use dgs- if they don't have the level and try to camp drops, they clearly do not belong.
  12. You are here assuming that you are god and know all what is right or wrong, which is not an uncommon practice. An update doesn't only take the coding part, but also the part of development of ideas, and we do not know about how jagex feels about the subject- if the current system is purposefully there then it would be a large project indeed. Overall, it's just not worth the hassle(mostly of explaining and lobbying for an update without major implications).
  13. As far as i know, no invisible bonus stacks with anything, but in all likelyhood, they will work at the same time.
  14. the nex items work in 1/100th points in damage, and the cost is calculated by the damage every 1/100th, thus if it's degraded but still at over 99%, it will be at 100% but damaged. The easiest course of action would be to go to lighthouse dagganoths with a cannon and just have them attacking you for some minutes, until the item degrades to 99% or below.
  15. The point about it is that it's ok, but that doesn't make it good, still, so it's essential for a person like that to learn proper gd prioritization and mage as frequently as possible(zombies, for example, should be maged with surge) and that also means high apm regarding switches. It's possible, but if you are to have any chance to carry your own weight, you'll have to work much harder for it. With 71 hp, your effectiveness will forever be compared to katagon 2h, which is a largely superior weapon to either katagon or gorg maul(as crush is a secondary attack style compared to slash).
  16. Thing is, a lot of people would be perfectly content to have a hex but be permbanned from dgs. So for some people the thought of not being able to use dgs isn't enough of a deterrent. So you think it would be easier to first convince jagex on this subject(remember, anything we think isn't the absolute truth, most of what matters is jegex'es opinion, and they might not agree), and then letting them try and fix this? The fact is, when you are in a floor, you can command people who don't have 99 slayer to gtfo that room, and if they don't, they would be kicked off the team and have future implications in participating in dgs dungeons, just for not leaving the soulgazer room.
  17. As there are already rules in dgs regarding this i don't think it's deserving of an update from jagex. It's really basically about people being organized and disciplined about dungeoneering, and if they do snipe something, they'll have some real problems trying to use dgs ever again.
  18. DGS/3bo, possibly UDG and no quitters. At 70 dg, your only hope for fast abd 2 is dgs as all other clans have alot higher requirements. Do expect to be on your toes for the first few dungeons, though. Link to dgs is in my sig.
  19. for abd 2, 18 is good, 22 is normal... but yeah, the problem the OP is having is the teams he is using. You won't be getting such good times at your low level unless 4 of your teammates decide to carry you trough the floors.
  20. Dno about the figures you have, but with 40-42k slayer xp ph with melee(rapier+cannon) and 48-50k slayer xp ph with mage, mage will be around 16% better, and that is with cannon- the difference will be larger without cannon(you can't safespot the burrow attacks with melee and have to run around alot more). As far as i'm aware, the slayer xp without cannon would be around 28k vs 40k, so the difference is infact very significant.
  21. THIS IS MY BLOG. I ignore all the random spam Jimi posts on here. Do i sense a little sexual tension heating up in teh blog? Oh Jimi, you are so blind and inconsiderate! How can you even look yourself in the mirror every morning(and yeah, lose the face-moss)? Inb4ban  Oh, and i managed to acquire this ultra-top-secret quote from.....well, somewhere... Yeah, this is VERY serious indeed.
  22. You should try to get 70 rc for surgebox asap, and also level mage somewhat. In all likelyhood(assuming you'd have maul and csb) you will be taken into teams, but your stats and setup will still be less than effective, and most monsters will be very high level compared to you, thus it's worth consideration to train attack and strength to be more useful.
  23. 1% of 182k >> 1,27% of 11k... cooking is still growing at a really fast pace, but it's not as large compared to the number of people who already have it- same with strength etc.
  24. It's a hugely negative view in life to say that something that hasn't been done, can't be done. You are assuming that it would be impossible as much as we are assuming it isn't. Anything is possible(and i assume 200m in all skills is impossible too, because, you know, noone has done it yet). As said many times, it has been done many times for ~90-99, so there really isn't any plausible reason for it to not work for 200m but for that noone has done it yet(and as it is highly difficult to maintain while your only goal is agility, we'd need to have a contender attempt it to have anything conclusive at all, and thus far, there hasn't been any).
