Loging out instead of just closing the screen
This is why it says always warns you to log out first before shutting the window :P I've wondered what exactly happens when you press the cross. I think, if you haven't been in a battle, you'll immediately log out. If you've been battling, your character will stand still until ten seconds after the battle to log out. It might seem clear, but I see people disappearing immediately after a battle sometimes (no, not lag).

How long do you play a day?
I play 10 minutes per day in school :P Weekends maybe 1 hour per day depending on the flow (bad flow = less time). Before I semi quit I played about 1 - 2 hours per day. I don't level up but merchant, so how long I'm on depends on the flow. During a 3 week interval on the summer vacations I played 4 - 5 hours per day, that was a living hell for me :P To Dorkvader: Really? I hardly notice your presence on Runescape.

!The Worst Ways to Die As A Newbie!
I got owned by a bear way back in RSC. The three hit rule and my slow computer really messed things up. I ran, the bear followed and attack me and I couldn't run before taking three hits. Some trees in the wilderness are cuttable, they're not easy to spot. Go to the lobster fishing spot in the wilderness and head west. You'll eventually bump into a cuttable tree. That's how I cooked my lobsters when I fished in the wilderness.

old runescape website/ingame pictures
Those dates still sounded a bit crazy and made up, even if they aren't. You must be really lonely if you fly to a very distant location on earth to meet a "girl" that you've developed feelings for in-game. You must really trust that other person and be taking a great risk... After all it's "only pixels" as someone said to me.

New non-member quests
yup, I share the same opinion as you. Even if a new one came out, which isn't believable at this moment, I wouldn't care. I haven't even done all the f2p quests yet, I only did enough to get 32 QP for dragon slayer. The XP gained and the time taken just doesn't make up for it, neither does the stupid story featured in the quests. :P

Noobiest Way You Made Money As A Noob?
Dressing myself into a hot girl and "asking" rich people for money. Hey, at least I made two grand per hour.

OOO I'm Rich Now!! err... wait a second...
PkMARIO, you've got a good memory. I did create a thread long ago on April 1st about a santa hat, which was my April fools joke. But in the end I was the fool, so I guess I'll shut up :P

oops! i committed an offence
Thanks, but I think what you've posted doesn't match with what I mean. Saying damn is not really offensive, as long as the chat filter catches it and you're not swearing at another person. "God **** my socks smell" is okay. But do avoid using these words if possible.
-
oops! i committed an offence
"damn I lost" (which appears as "**** I lost") is actually not a reportable offense. As people have said, it varies from person to person and rule to rule. Do not ask these kind of questions, you're making yourself sound suspicious as in "Can I afford to break another rule?" Try to really follow the rules now, and not count on surviving another black mark. Don't worry, because I can guarantee you that Jagex is careful with people. In almost all cases, the people with an action taken against them are guilty.

Anyone still have an account like this??
You could start out with 4 different classes before, each one of them had different stats and you were dumped into the Runescape world immediately after creating (heh, macroing back then must've been a piece of cake). The four were Adventurer, Warrior, Mage and Ranger. A warrior had a bronze sword and a wooden shield, an adventurer had a bronze hatchet and a tinderbox from start. The two others, well, you know it all. So if you have a character from way before, you would have 0xp in many stats. Strange thing I still remember this.

It was a long time ago...
It was a long time ago... when I actually enjoyed Runescape. It was a long time ago... when I really met a real girl and not a gold digger on Runescape. It was a long time ago... when I didn't act like a fool.

Relaxing yourself during pking
Well, I sometimes have another screen on with something totally different (and with totally, I mean it :uhh: ). Otherwise, I've stopped PKing due to this "adrenaline". F2P pking is such a waste of time IMO. Music is cool too, but it can sometimes distract me, heh, I almost fell asleep once.

Bug on RS....
They've been there for quite a long time now, and to think of it, I searched through my website and found this:

P-Mod Advantage?
yeah, that is a good point, but do not forgot that mods who don't have crowns can also cause trouble. Other people might question his moderatorship when he says that he is a mod, which will make things go bad. So what I'm suggesting is that there should be a toggle option for the silver crown, to turn it on/off. That way, we'd be like civil polices and can strike when we can :D PS. I also have something to add about the crown. A pmod acts like a role model for other players, so it is required that they behave well in games. The crown is basically for other people, so that they recognise mods. It doesn't matter that much if scammers run away when they see mods, since mods aren't forced to hunt for scammers, and if they don't say anything (mods), the scammer won't know that you're a mod.

Stats or Style?
Of course style is more important to me, just check me out on what I wear. Regarding your image, a person on Runescape said that my sceptre was a "road kill on a stick". Rhino on a stick is a good guess though.

Parent's Guide at rs main site
Oh ok, sorry about that, I thought you means l33tsp33k = leet speak = leet words = advanced words / good grammar. The graphs are good, but I don't think parents would have the time to see it. Can anyone tell their parents to check it out, and report to us?

Best item that u have given away..
I've given away 9k iron arrows and some steels, can't remember how many exactly, but it doesn't matter.

Parent's Guide at rs main site
I don't think it would affect much at all even, since no kids would tell their parents to read it / parents wouldn't care either. A game is a game, you don't need a guide to what your child plays if you're a parent, many of them know what's important for their children already, like breaks and sitting upright. It might sound like "l33tsp33k", but they usually miss an apostrophe or two at some places.

Your favorite build
70/80/40 My build is a solid 40 defense with high attack and strength. With 40 defense I've sacrificed 10 combat levels, but I've just gained enough defense level to take advantage of rune armour, and the green d hide body, useful for protecting against mages. The not so useful part is the 70 attack, since I'm a f2p and it only allows me to use rune scimitar. 70 attack doesn't help much at all against 60 def rune fullers for example, and it doesn't raise the already high accuracy against monk robers or rangers / mages. So as an overall not a useful combination in f2p, but it would work wonders in p2p I think.

Statistically, How Good Are the Defense Skill and Bonuses
That would indeed shorten things up, BUT, that will make the data highly inaccurate. Remember that there is a luck term behind how often you hit, so if you only gather data for 15 minutes and times it by 4, you'll multiply the mistake factor by 4, thus making the data useless.
-
Statistically, How Good Are the Defense Skill and Bonuses
The percentage of hitting someone with no armour compared to someone with for example rune armour is shows a significant difference, so making a formula for how much accuracy/evasiveness attack/defense really gives can be made, although this would take a lot of research. It's basically done in the same way as the damage calculator, I believe. We have to have an equation, and then feed different numbers to it taken from tests. This can be done, but the data will be very inaccurate, and to make it more accurate we'd need to do very long tests, such as letting a person hit another over 1000 or even 5000 times (the more, the better) and record the data. But the question is, is it really that important to know? All pkers are usually already aware of what attack or defense stats to obtain, and other players just aim for 99 in everything. Some might think that it would just be interesting to check out the results, but the hard work behind it just doesn't make it worth it.

Scythe or Party hat?
Party hat of course, since it has a large value in game, unlike an untradable scythe. A scythe would only make people think that you're the grim reaper :ohnoes:

¢¢â¬ââ F2P Skills experience p/hour. ¢¢â¬â
I get 40 - 50k exp per hour training at the hobgoblin mines, using a rune scimitar with 80 strength. HP is 1/4 of 40 - 50k, which is 10 to 12.5k. My information isn't very fresh, since I've quit Runescape a week or two ago.

How much RS has drasticly changed in 2.5 years (Pics inside)
Yeah, Runescape has changed very much over the years, and the question is how will it look like in for example two years? Mining ores in RSC did have an advantage over modern mining, if you had 28 items in your inventory, could even be ores, you could still mine, and the ore would be dropped onto the ground automatically. So basically that means that powermining was much easier.

Your noob times...
I didn't focus on any skills, but I did wander around a lot, and tried to focus on not seeing myself as a noob. Too many low level people think they are noobs, and never seem to get the thing over and stop thinking about it. It's all about self-confidence.
