  1. Maybe power mine iron. Mine the iron, drop the ores and repeat. Coal is much slower compared to iron.
  2. That's why we shouldn't judge people after levels and experience in the game. Whenever I see someone with lower stats I just see him as a person who's spent less time playing it. (correct the forget part in the title)
  3. Samari81 is right. Though the buying and selling part I'm not sure about, but I guess it's one of the main reasons people autotype. Blame Jagex for not writing anything about this in their rules for players.
  4. It's good that you're bringing this up, as I've always regarded smithing as a skill in which you cannot make any decent cash from a year ago already. I mean even if you, before, could make a few things that sold for a profit, the problem lied in selling them. It ain't possible selling kites or stuff in bulk unless to merchants, and that's of course low prices. So now the GE has made selling easier, but it's pushed the prices down. Only thing which you can profit from smithing is making ores into bars now? Members have more options, of course. I agree with your post in other words.
  5. Yeah Barrow Gloves beat them, only good use of the Combat Bracelet is for those that haven't done RFD and can't be bothered to do them. I started using them first when I became a member, thought they were quite useful with +6 str. The warning thing could keep you going and determined to finish the task though, but it's just a mental thing.
  6. Maybe some sort of clothes or equipment that aid summoning, kind of like stuff with prayer bonus.
  7. Super Restore Potion probably works for it too, and if it does it could go up in price.
  8. Using Toy Mouse to train at 40 could prove useful. Brimhaven Agility Arena probably works too, as does the Ape Atoll course (but you need higher Agility for that).
  9. Definitely, you should have no bigger worries doing it as long as you bring prayer pots. I did it without prayer and with Stews (Heals 11 HP), and with 40 defense so you have nothing to worry about mate!
  10. Nah, I haven't given or received anything yet. Though I did give an NPC 3 million in cash when I died with a zerker ring on amongst other runes. Yeah, I died and am using this as an excuse lol.
  11. For the tunnel part, just bring your best armour (rune?) along with a few energy pots and food. I had 40 defense when I did Monkey Madness, and no prayer either. The food I used were Stews. All you gotta do is to run all the time till the end of the tunnel, eating food and drinking energy potions when needed. Normal energy potions are good enough, and are cheap as well.
  12. I'd tip for around 100 per hour?? Hard to say, since you can choose to either world hop mine them or go on a crowded server to wait for the respawn. But crowded servers almost always have miners in them. I've no idea about the competition on f2p servers.
  13. Yeah a lot of us have run into drop trades. The coolest and most daring one had to be a dude who did it in Edgeville (think it was a PKing world). He drop traded a Rune Scimitar, some coins and other stuff. I didn't manage to pick anything up, and he laughed after he got all his stuff.
  14. Could refer to a lot of things, as a matter of perspective. As some mentioned, game experience and overall is something. Doing something unique is also another, as well as the first person to do something.
  15. Probably if you know the person in real life, and they meet you to give you a few bucks which, after, you make them a member. Isn't too profitable, and cannot be done in a large scale. Only real life friends would trust you.
  16. Yeah there are good sides and bad sides, but I'd like to comment on the rich player part. Don't forget that it takes hard work to become rich as well (there are exceptions of course), so they do deserve an easier skilling since they've put down time on earning money. I've never been much of a skiller, so bots were more of a positive thing for me. But I fully understand skillers who get less for their efforts with bots competing.
  17. Dang I had the same problem as you earlier today, but I managed to figure it out. Apparently you had to hover over the black hole to enter it, and not the other parts of the grotto.
  18. Interesting story you had there, with some good investing / stocking up and reselling. It probably wouldn't hurt to wait until the day when the stuff is released (earlier the better) and then hoard items? Or how long do these golden selling opportunities and hot stuff last?
  19. No, some other new skill is bound to come once in a while. If you look at the diagram with the planning of the new skills, there should be a skill after summoning. We just don't know when.
  20. Really, well happy birthday to him then if you're correct. 29 and runs a huge game already.
  21. Dunno can't help too much since I'm a bit confused. But I can say that getting only mithril gloves isn't worth it - buy a Combat Bracelet instead. It gives + str bonus and does not require any quests.
  22. When the prices have dropped to a state in which people realize that it's not worth selling there anymore I guess. But what you're saying is true, quite a few items have dropped in minimum price lately. I don't know about rises, there should at least be a few that have risen in price?
  23. You can also weild Silverlight at 1 attack I think. And Silverlights hit as hard as a Rune Sword on demons, so those with 1 attack and high defense could consider training on demons with it.
  24. The image you got looks okay. I wouldn't mind if they added something like this, though it probably won't be too useful on Runescape. Main thing is that you can rotate the camera, so implementing a sky render would make certain camera angles seem weird (just a guess).
