  1. Well good luck with it then. I'm curious to see how it goes for you.
  2. OH! Now that's something new to me. I gotta consider this an option too. Have you considered using salve amulet (e) for strength training as well?
  3. According to a few sources, the Obsidian Sword hits with the same speed as Scimitars, while the Maul hits as slow as normal 2-H swords. You've done the damage calculations, so what's left is the accuracy. The Maul has +80 crush and the Sword has +47 stab and +38 slash, so that's a big difference. So I cannot answer this question, but I've given you some facts that you could consider. This probably depends on your attack level, with a lower one the Maul might help a bit more. Is there any reason you're using Obsidian stuff?
  4. Yeah agree with you, this whole month's updates have struck the whole Runescape in both negative and positive ways. I can't think of any other period or month with such big updates, but then again I don't know too much about Runescape history since I've often taken breaks and thus missed out on things.
  5. You should probably get to 52 doing Barbarian Outpost to then switch to the wilderness course. I use Toy Mouse. I heard that Ape Atoll is only good for higher level agility, like 70 - 75?
  6. Not necessarily, since power mining doesn't cost except for the Pickaxe.
  7. Though it's still a costy skill, if we're talking about today right now. The prices of cooked and raw lobsters have changed a lot of times, with one worth more than the other at times. Right now cooked lobsters are worth less than raw lobsters, so it'll cost a few GPs for every lobster. You could probably go without a loss if you spent a lot of time in Edgeville PK worlds selling cooked lobsters. But then again, most players cook lobsters there so they can cook and sell at the same time. Even though you'll lose a few GP per lobster, it's still a very cheap skill to get to 99, not to mention fast.
  8. Or go to the mine northeast of Rimmington, it has quite a few iron ores there and is a quiet mine. Getting 60 mining isn't too hard.
  9. That would be too wild, and it would allow people to kill others outside of the wilderness. Dunno what else to say :-s
  10. Yes, it's no longer a too good way of training. And for 50k an hour you'd have to be in the 100 boat I guess, and also have a high skill so you get more points per ticket.
  11. Nooooooooo!! Dang this truly is bad! Man... Runescape is getting less sweet.
  12. Me too, would be nice seeing Dragon Bones selling for cheap. Less buyers than before, the amount of autoers I'm not certain.
  13. Because there are always need buyers hanging around. And violating the rules isn't the same as getting caught. Some players do this without getting caught, but they're still taking a risk.
  14. For both buying and selling it's against the rules.
  15. Woah nice one crazymonster! What monsters do you guys slay for clues?
  16. Yeah someone said that it can be done by some special thing. It happened on the tip.it chat once, when someone said a line containing a few bad words. Really cool though
  17. But I still think some people are attacking Jagex too early, they just implemented these new stuff a day ago. Surely they'll change things after a few days or weeks, seeing the negative responses.
  18. I've never been too interested in Jagex and their remove-autoers campaign, and I thought most autoer prevention methods were and still are bad, including this new duel arena thing which I don't understand any of. I'm even skeptical about the duel arena being used as a transfer method of cash; there are tons of other easier methods that we don't even have to mention, and through the wilderness too by killing your own autoer holding cash. Autoers... I don't know. I am completely content playing a game like Runescape with autoers in it and have no problems with their presence. The people that buy stuff profit from them, while those that produce stuff are affected negatively so I understand why they're a concern.
  19. Try the stronghold of security too, monsters there are aggressive. And once they don't auto attack, just change a room.
  20. Pretty hard to guess as I've never gotten it right. Maybe some kind of stars? I think releasing santa robes would inflate santa hats (more people wanting to get the hat to finish the set), and Jagex wouldn't want that.
  21. Nah not too common. I just high alch them, and some people leave them on the ground even.
  22. Yes they will, but not soon in my opinion. They want the highscores to be at least a bit challenging to get into, and thus keep players playing.
  23. Runescape has developed too much with the single race thing that it'll be hard to shift. I personally think that it would be more interesting if there were races to choose from, and each race had their own unique skills. Would diversify things more.
  24. I have this too. Nothing to worry about.
