For slayer, you can just use a bunyip. You don't need any more health than that provides for 95% of tasks. The SGS is good for waterfiends and higher level monster hunting. Great for DKs and GWD.

It is pretty rare. I would just get one more herblore level.

Just a little rant about how some familiars which would be useful are so annoying that I just don't want to use them. Take, for instance, a fruit bat. Since I like farming, I would love the free seeds and fruit it forages; however, since every time it forages an item it feels a need to interrupt my cooking, crafting, smithing, everything, I just won't use it! Another side note is when my familiar "teleports" next to me, it feels a need to close any interfaces I have open. I just feel that some familiars would be much more useful and utilized if simple annoyances were remedied. What are your opinions?

Get 70 attack, then 70 strength, then 70 defense. Then, get 90 attack and strength, switching off every level or two, then 80 defense. Then get 99 attack and strength in some manner, then work on defense. :thumbup:

Spear has the fastest charm rates. The SGS special is good, but all it does is allow you to stay down there longer, which isn't a big deal since it's so easy to access anyway. So only use SGS if you use it as a special weapon, then switch back to your Zamorakian Spear (49m for special, eh?).

I've calculated crimson charms to be worth about 4k, if you make 500k an hour. So Blues would be more, green and gold less. Didn't see lugia0013's post.

Magic Essence potions used to be viable training until Gorak's drop rate of their claws dropped from 100% to about 25%.

Did these get "fixed"? Or am I just failing at comboing these? For those of you that don't know, I think you're supposed to be able to, say, eat a shark and then quickly a karambwan in one turn.

Eh, as far as I'm concerned this is just about building potential. With the way the PvP worlds are [stupidly] set up, you have to build potential to "win". So until this changes, I'm all for bronze daggers on full rune. As far as actual "26king", I don't know my opinion on that yet. Why don't you just alch in Varrock houses or something? At least you're getting useful experience during your potential-building.

So I bought a SGS a while back, but since then I got 99 defense, and wanted to sell (as it was locking up all my extra coins save a few mil) so I could train summoning/prayer/whatever. Karil's Coif has better magic defense. But I'd go with melee, since the black mask will help you hit much better. Wear Black Mask, Karils, Fury, Dboots, Barrows Gloves, Whip, DFS/Antifire, Fire/Trimmed 99, ROW/other ring. Bring an antifire, a super set, a couple prayer potions, and sharks.
