  1. Some buff... that's the same damage as T75 ammo
  2. As of now, you can log onto the VIP world without having bought the CURRENT golden members, but I have last years Golden members. Also, i reckon the goal of the summoning pouch update is that as opposed to max of 25 pouches per inv run (minus charm, shard and empty pouch), you can now run 28 a run, or more with the gems. Thats the theory anyway, could be useful for festive aura with its time limited duration
  3. How far are you with the DIY barrows? I bought some amulets to give Akrisae what was really coming for him >:D But of course, even though I am not half complete, I get duplicate pieces lol
  4. It's a she So yes, Zemouregal is also secretly a female.
  5. If you are buying Drys soon, I'd skip Chaotic weapons completely, get number 2 and 3 on WKW's list.
  6. You are also forgetting the repair cost of Chaotics, which none of the T75 has (polypore has upkeep, but its upkeep is negligibly small compared to chaotic staff), which again will eat into profits, so unless the 7% improvement of T75 over T80 (assuming accuracy here is non-issue for most slayer targets, not including boss slayer targets like KBD etc), is enough to cover the 3M per 10 hours or so combat, then I actually don't see any point in using chaotics at all, especially considering they are not in the top tier. The figure of 7% improvement is gotten from T80/T75, which completely ignores combat downtime (which decreases the improvement % if it did) or the strength/power armor contribution (if any, it again lowers that % down).
  7. Assuming Void is a flat 10% damage increase, under most circumstances the damage alone from void will beat any power armor, unless the tier of your armor is higher than your weapon, which then it will be roughly the same for 10 tiers of difference, lower if more than 20 tiers. EG Void will be better for damage if you use Royal crossbow than using Pernix, but if you have dual karil's, pernix will be roughly the same as void, while Sirenic will be better, damagewise.
  8. Gwd armor are certainly worth buying, the depreciation of their value over time, if any, is about the same (if not less than) as the cost of upkeep of your Barrows and Ganodermic armor, and besides you don't really need any defence for slaying (by slaying, I assume you mean training slayer, not killing things for cash etc), but the damage will help. The amount of time you are going to use it will pretty much make GWD pay for itself. With regards to DG weapons, my take is: If you already have the tokens to burn, buy them, if you have to work for them, don't bother, there are better things out there you can work towards that yield better results.
  9. No confirmation I am aware off, I am not even sure if T85 magic weapon would make an appearance. But if it did, I hold my expectation at staff, since its the worse of the two
  10. How exactly would T85 staff be outclassed by Virtus? Is concentrated blast that Overpowered that is capable of overcoming both damage AND accuracy difference between them? Edit: Damn it, got ninja'ed
  11. Nomad's 1 LP attack can be made totally harmless by using Freedom to get out of his stun, then subsequently hitting him with Debilitate and severe as well if you melee, as long as you have more than half health, he will be unable to kill you. (that's when I did it several months ago, no idea if they changed it. You can try it in the special fight). The merit of this is that it basically removes any and all food requirement to fight against nomad.
  12. Baking Pies and Glass make also have their inherent advantages: Pies cannot burn while using the spell, and Glass make will make more glass than the furnace because it burns up the sand buckets. String amulets also do not require strings, the spell themselves make it.

    Range

Speed has nearly no impact on ability damage, but shield bows are scaled to be equivalent of 1h weapon rather than two hand due to the fact that the 'shield' on the shield bow is a fully stated and functional shields (IE it has the same stat as a shield as well as allowing you to use all shield abilities) But long answer short, Short bow is superior to shield bows in damage, but not because of its speed. Speed has very little impact on actual damage of the weapon (ability wise that is).
  14. Things you can do with a PC massively defeats what you can do on a Console, but yes, anyone who can follow instructions written on a book can get a working and running Console in next to no time at all, and they need to pay no attention to the specs it needs (if it says it runs on an XBox One, it can run on any One, whether it is now or 5 years down the line), and there are times I really wish PC games were like that. Also, it's hard to banjax a console, it's pretty easy to do on a PC (sometimes it even banjaxes itself!).
  15. I am fine with that as long as it doesn't require me recharging after every hour or so combat.
  16. Same with me, as a current user of T77 staff, with no access to either Virtus (not spending that much money for a t80 when a pair of T90 cost much less than that) or Chaotic staff (the effort vs reward simply is not worth it for me), I'll definitely find a use for T85 staff. Regardless of whether I keep my T90 weapons or not, the T85 weapoms are still worthwhile investments for me as those are the weapons i'll definitely keep in my bank permanently regardless of how the economy crashes/rises. If anything, they're the next best thing.
  17. Dropping items physically on the ground doesn't generate the light beam, it seems the drop must be an actual drop
  18. They probably meant that when you apply Neem oil on ganodermic creatures, it should be a debuff, but it was showing as a buff instead.
  19. Turning off the quick inv is probably the best update today. The Wings all look rather flat, which is dissappointing for the Icyenic wing. The skeletal wing look like a carbon copy of Kerrigan's Wings
  20. Crit do surprisingly little to dps, because the way crit works. A 0.9% in crit rate corresponds to only about 0.54% increase in dps, assuming you have 0% crit and using abilities, if you have higher crit, then it increases less than that. This is under the assumption that an ability has a damage range 25%~100% its description, while a crit does, on average, 100% damage, so a crit is basically increasing that ability's damage by an average of 60% (100%/62.5% = 160%), which is how I got the 0.54% dps. However this figure is only true if you have 0% chance to crit, if you have higher crit, then the overall DPS increase from crit on the claws will be lower. As a general rule, any crit rating on weapons themselves can be ignored for simplicity, unless you are comparing same tier to same tier.
  21. Opening ability bar is a matter of pressing the [-] button on the bar that shows your Health, Prayer, Adrenaline and Summoning points. Assigning abilities to boxes is literally the same as dragging files into a folder. Click and hold an ability in your ability book and move your cursor over to the ability bar box, and let go, that will 'put' the ability into that box.
