After the cape was released, my last quest before the cape was Rat Catchers . Then it was the new quests (i think my arm was next, then enlightened journey etc.)
-
Strength style on the rest? you mean mage style? Strength style works off your attack level, and is treated as a melee attack (of which all of the 4 melee brothers have a strong resistance against)

What i did was buy all coal 160ea, iron 100ea, smelt into steel bars and sell for 550ea, net profit of 130 per bar. Free smithing exp too. Also mining addy is very effective as well. I made up to a bank worth about 7m this way (included the Chaos/Death shop merchanting, but that is no longer profitable due to the lowering price of death and chaos)

When you get to the website, click on DYNSIG button, then put your username into the box on the bottom of the page. Once thats done, select your design, and you will be given a url next to your picture similar to this one: very simply, copy the entire line and paste it into your signature in your profile. voila
Are Black Salamanders Any Good? Answer Might Shock You!
chenw replied to darkashuran's topic in General Discussion
Yes, check the ingame herblore guide, you will find the levels there. -
unfortunately you didnt miss anything, Hunting is a primary skill (cant be bought) that benefits no one but yourself (the only other skill like this is Agility). The capes and gloves require the hunting level to wear them anyway. You would also probably find ppl leaving their firs on the ground so it isnt too hard to get those equip me thinks.

2 g spear 5 trips apart ^^
-
RFD gloves gives Strength bonus of at least +2 since Iron Gloves times. Barrow gloves has +12. ^^
-
Not yet of course. When the skill hype dies down a bit, it would be a lil less crowded.
-
not very good from what i heard off 1 TIF'er. the Salamander's attacks are close ranged (same range as D Long, I.E. none), and the damage on them are not great either (19 max hit at 90 ranged. I do 19 easily on Full C bow at 82 ranged just for comparison's sake)

Have a piece of Rope and a SMALL fishing net (big one wont work) in your inventory, click on a young tree with 'Set-Trap' option, and voila.
-
there are no damage dealt in hunting. At best its something damaging you (the ones you pitfall trap to catch). No need to worry
-
if you mean the random event, then no

To make the clothes, you need to have the fur from the Kebits and bring them to the Varrock Fancy Dress store (NOT the store near the fountain. The correct one is beside the Family Crest Quest start point) Each piece need 2 fur and 20 gp.

To those who are paying attention to this slight argument with me and Phelim, not one point in my posts did i mention Jagex was perfect with the skills, but all i was refering to was the statement about the fact that only 1 person can use the deathtrap at a time 'dumb' was rather impetuous, as it did not take into account of the technicality behind programming such a feature. Saying what you want for a game is one thing, but acting put it into practise as a computer code is completely another. Calling Jagex 'Dumb, one word for it' was not exactly justified either. Let this post seal all this argument.

Because: 1. Farming Patches dont need anything else external in order to work (all the game have to recognise is what compost you put there, what seed and it works from there). Hence why you can have several hundred people using the same farm patch because it is connected to the same person 2. For Deathfall, it is COMPLETELY different, it relies on an (independent) object to get near your trap in order for it to be trapped. The server cant handle 2000 copies of the same object just so that everyone can be happy with death traps. it puts way too much strain on the server, and it would also be a waste because there probably wouldnt be more than 10 ppl at a time deathtrapping per server anyway (that is when hunter skill dies out of the hype) 3. I am rebuting your comment of 'Dumb. One word for Jagex', not your intelligence. If i were insulting you, i would have used far harsher words than those. It is YOU who cant 'wrap around' some concepts about Jagex. If I am insulting your intelligence, i would have been far far harsher. (which i am not)

Check my guide out on player made guides, it contains all you need for Tracking. In short, you have to start at a burrow (hole), search it and follow the path until you find it in a bush. details are in my guide.
-
One person per trap? With hundreds likely hunting on each server? Dumb. Only word for Jagex on that one. well they cant exactly place several hundred traps per server can they, that will be just too unrealistic, and unnecessary. These are just release hypes. Also the creatures would have to fall into a trap themselves, so having several hundred trap in 1 spot is also impractical. think before you post please

South of the Piscatoris Fishing Colony. Fastest way to get there is AKQ Fairy ring (and the fishing colony is also within reach from the ring, beats running around the stonghold)

Hides are used to make the camo-cloths that makes 'trapping' have less chance to fail. each kebit yields different hides depending on the location, and the camo only workes for those in the same area as you got the hides from (so a jungle camo will work in jungle only, etc.)
-
Ever had a problem of actually taking ages for you to find the Kebits via the Tracking method, because you just CANT find where it is? Where here is a short guide of how to do it quick 'n easy. NOTE: THESE ONLY APPLY TO THE FIRST 3 KEBITS, but if all the tracking kebits are hunted the same way, then they also apply. Step 0: Make sure you have the Noose Wand equipped, as well as a few Super Energy pots in your inv. Step 1: Look for a hole in the ground where there is plenty of plants and bushes you can 'search' for. Search it. There will be a path out of the hole. Step 2: Follow the path, and search for PLANTS near where the foot prints end. DO NOT search bushes until at least you have found the path at least 3 times. You will be wasting your time because the Kebit will most definitely be not there. The right plant is generally in the same screen as where the footprints end. Step 3: Follow step 2 a few times. After the 3rd time you have found the path, you can start ATTACKING the bushes (searching wastes time, attacking does the same purpose anyway, except if the Kebit is there, you dont need to click on it again). NOTE, the bush where the kebit will be will definitely be in the 3x3 square where the footprints end (last foot print being in the centre of the square). If you do not find it, dont search for bushes further away, just search for the plants. Step 4: Once you catch a kebit, you can decide what you want to do with the hides. I suggest keeping at least 8 hides, but drop the rest. Also when restarting to track again, go to the nearest hole in the ground for fast xp. Enjoy.

definitely wont stop to do anything but hunting till i get that cape! (the 66 one, not 99 one :P)

Definitely could do with some updates in the higher level hunting area (the highest practical application is obtained at 71 hunter). However what we have now is definitely far from the worst. We were not only given a weapon that does all 3 types of attacks (only the staff have 2 types of attack, all others have only 1 type. by type i mean melee, range and mage), and it looks rather powerful. Now there is an even better use of harralander herbs from the kingdom awards. All we need to see now is the speed of the weapon. If it is at least as fast as a Long Sword, i can see this being used in wildy,
