  1. That should be the other way round. Dragon legs are close to rune and barrows is much better than d legs. If you want to compare the stats, Dragon med, Chain and legs are about 70 less in all melee and ranged def stats compared to Torag's/Guthan's/Dharok's equivalent parts. BTW, Torag's set costs the same as D square and d Med)
  2. Ok, i havent been to kingdom to top up on a very regular basis (but aproval never below 90%), i havent collected the loots in 2 months at this stage and wont collect it until xchristmas, but i am sure that they are dishing out 75k a day. now i wander how many million maples logs i am gonna get
  3. sigh.. when will they learn.. the wild is not a place to have things.. i can understand having it in lvl 1-2.. but lvl 6 gives too many opportunistic pkers luckily i am getting to a lvl where they CAN'T attack me ( at least most of them, being in the 85-90ish range for combat) isnt it safer to abyss rc at a LOWER level? since the abyss pkers can only be 5 levels lower of higher, and lower lvl pkers cant entangle/ teleblock. Combat level almost NEVER show your Mage level. You can have a 80's combat more than capable of casting ice barrage. The higher your mage and def level, the more chance you have getting away because you get splashed more.
  4. All of these have to happen AFTER i sell all my willow seeds :S EDIT : Guess I have to loot my kingdom earlier than usual. If i dont get a willow seed after letting loot rotting for 2 months, and have 100% maples, I am quitting this game
  5. Posting in Market forum threads does not count towards the post count. Other than that i am not too sure
  6. No Buy 1st bow, 900k Recharge that Bow, 900k (if it is your first recharge) Buy 2nd C Bow, 900k Recharge Second bow, 720k. EDIT : Buying c bow will ALWAYS cost you 900k. And also the recharge cost will be based on how many time YOU have recharged your Crystal equips, not how many times the SEED has been recharged for. EDIT 2: It is ALWAYS better to buy a dead seed from another player and recharge that seed instead of buying a new bow.
  7. If there was a Tele other spell on me, i would double check it before i click on yes. Good thing you checked first.
  8. anywhere with a load of iron rocks close together is good. I suggest the Dorgeshuun Mines, because you can sell your ores to the goblins there in 1 lump sum without having to drop them.
  9. Also if its droppable, Furies would be closer to 3m instead of 5m because the tzhaar will be camped out.
  10. the last one is incorrect. Onyx can never be dropped by anything, you can only buy it from the shop in Tzhaar.
  11. he was talking about karil only here, not the entire 6 barrow team (i wouldnt suggest meleeing any melee brothers without verac's anyway). You can use a dose of super attack, turn on incredible reflexes, unload 4 dds spec's on him and finish with whip. i suggest you to get at least 80 attack to do that though. Super Strength isnt really needed because his hp isnt that high compared to others (unless of course its really low. I'd suggest using super str and also use the str prayer for your level, but not to bother at higher levels)
  12. If you dont want to lose money at all, and you need some leveling speed, knives would be better. However if you are willing to pay a bit for feathers, i'd go for darts, you make more so they last longer
  13. From my experiences with F2P, it is nearly impossible to merchant Raw materials and sell them to p2p (way too many ppl are doing it), you have to do something to it in order for it to sell. I recommend buying coal 160ea and iron 80ea, smelt into steel bars and sell them 550ea. You gain levels while you are at it too.
  14. I believe that there is also a spawn point for the leather boots in the Lumbridge cellar.
  15. No, but it certainly comes a good portion more than what they bought for originally, exactly what a merchant does anyway. EDIT : i didnt read your part correctly. However, again you are comparing a decayable discontinued item. However there are equivalents of a Rare merchant in real life. Those are Auctioneers (not the guys who does the auctions, but those who sell stuff as auctions). Over time, those antiques will sell for more and more because it will become rare (due to perhaps destruction, much like bannage or high alch in RS)
  16. Only the possessor's of rares at your level, rares translate to high or low levels it takes no skill level rather a level of thinking, is it really just hitting the trade button over and over again or are YOU just digging Dharoks crypt too much? (by YOU i mean the people who skill/barrow for money, merchants work but in a different way, skillers work, in a different way.) What are you saying? Currently I'm nat crafting for money, because my field of merchanting has gone dry and nobody wants to share secrets with me. Merchanters work yes, but can get over 3M an hour if they do it right. People who click all day all over barrows sometimes don't turn up anything there, like me. It's unfair, because runescape is supposed to be about luck. Not knowing a loophole in the economy and making tens of millions on it. Guess what? Thats what happens in real life too. Some ppl get lucky, other ppl get unlucky. you are comparing some merchanter who perhaps is lucky to a barrower who is unlucky. To a merchant who stands in the same place shouting all day will find a barrower who doesnt do that and get 3 g spears in a single to be unfair on their part when they lose 1m over the course of the day. Ppl get lucky, and are unlucky. Merchanting is not about using economic 'loop-hole', it is part of the economy itself. Supermarkets are merchants, so are wholesalers, and do you say to the same thing to them?
  17. A good explanation for dropping prices in most things are NOT money drain, but rather because more of them are introduced into the game and there isnt enough demand/usage to ensure those prices stay high. The classic example being Whip and barrow items, as well as Fury. When the supply is low and demand high, naturally there will be ppl who are willing to pay very high amounts for them, but as long as they are not discontinued, there will always be more into the game (like Chains and other things). There will at one point where supply surpasses demand, and this will DEFINITELY lead to downward slide of the prices of those items. Take for example Whip. When everyone in the game has a whip, would there be any demand for whips? not unless you pk, and that is a minority population, hence it will lead to deflation of the whip's price. Pee hats on the otherhand is Discontinued, and its amount will ALWAYS go down, hence there is a reason why ppl are willing to pay so much for one.

    question

Construction guide isnt actually necessary because the way to level it is build, destroy, build, destroy, repeat, etc. The only guides out there in the air is basically tell you how to do this and what of stuff you can make. Check out the Tip's construction guide if you want more details. But i'll break a few things down for you : fun & looks only and Pratical parts: Fun & Looks only Combat Room Kitchen (The larder in this room is used for levelling until level 78, where oak doors in the Dungeon are used afterwards) Dining Hall Throne room Obliquette Dungeon Treasure Room Games Room Both gardens Quest hall (one exception is the Hero's Guild Symbol, where a glory amulet is used and it provides infinite Glory Amulet Teleports) Skill Hall Bedroom Practical Rooms Chapel Portal Room Costume Room Workshop

    question

just how much money are you talking about? just beeing curiuos... Millions usually, several hundred k at a time for sure.
  20. I am strange, the first thing i would use PC for is to fill up my house's armor case with them. I have NEVER actually gotten XP for PC yet (i probably will though because i need 94 mage :P) Thats another 600 points i need (probably gonna spend another 250 to bank mark my Mace)
  21. When i was doing Troll Stronghold quest, i was only like 3 days into Members, didnt turn on prayer and died to a troll general. Lost Obby shield, obby cape and Glory. Had about 4m worth of stuff in bank anyway so i didnt really care. Still it remains my heaviest lost so far (over 1m). I havent lost anything beyond a few hundred k at a time after that.

    question

Getting some soft clay wouldnt go amiss either, some features need soft clay
  23. Yes, but knives are twice as fast as a crossbow so it balances it out.
  24. There are ranged Firebreath and they are still considered mage attack. In fact Magic Attacks are very often missile attacks too (only a few none ranged attacks are actually fully mage based, firebreath being one of them)
  25. However you WILL gain defence xp after slaying the dragon
