You can't, but once you get it, its cheaper than any off hand weapon available... (and most likely more powerful too) Or are people just that lazy to get EE?

It amazes me how people who can afford using Drygore in the wild have T60 as their off hand weapons.... (hint: EE?)

Not sure about knives, but the general consensus with DW in DG is: it's not worth it, there is nothing you can do with DW that warrants an extra bind over using a 2h weapon. So i'd just keep everything you have bound.

Today is the first of a 4 day long public holiday. And I am at work because there are things that needs to be done for my way up superior by next week. Sounds like a lot of time, except that it's on top of your normal duties. (When you get assigned extra things in my company, they expect you to find time for it between your normal work, not OVER your work.)

'Need' and 'want' are two different things. I don't 'need' to make RS run on AAx4 to make it run smoothly, but I 'want' RS to run on AAx4 to make it look better than otherwise. Try that on a console? Impossible On a PC? Very possible. PS4 maybe a Perfect Gaming PC, but it is still bound by the rules of the box, which, on a true PC, is far less restrictive. Besides, 99% of the people on this forums do not have the problem I will undoubtedly encounter with consoles, since most of your native tongue or region have perfectly working and legal access to English games. Not here.

That's my problem with consoles, I cannot expect them to do anything but games, which at times makes them little more than tin boxes when I needed some actual thing done. Yes, the consoles biggest perk is that everything that says runs on it pretty much is guarenteed to run on it, and I do actually like that concept, saves the headaches of trying to get the game running (some older PC games have that problem). But that is also its greatest limitation, you cannot pimp it up without it croaking. Lastly, my interest lies in the fact that I can build my own PC, so I can actually control its performance better, for consoles, if that consoles has a problem, nothing can be done about it. And, I did say I was biased towards PC, since i played on the PC since a very young age (I learned DOS commands before I knew how to write my name...), but I did like (and still do) NES and SNES.

For me, I am into the "OMG why are you failing you stupid trio voyage! I am not even at the rewards yet!" phase lol.

There is always the 'Borrowing' from GE part though, buy the Drygore from GE, use it for as long as you want to, then as soon as you think you want to take a break from it, sell it back. Drygores are a teeny bit unstable at the moment though.

I doubt it, because there should be no rounding error as big as several points (in some cases it can be as high as 10). Doing some simple arithmetic yielded either an error of 1, or none, but not 8 or so. Unless, the background code calculates things completely differently and the rounding errors somehow stacked. But as long as that error exist, some weapons will still be decisively better than others purely because of it.

Lack of Region lock, the fact PC can play most of the games consoles can too, etc. The way I see it, consoles are only justified if either you don't have access to credit cards (which means you can only buy them in shops, console games tend to be better stocked than PC's, and often more up to date too), or if you don't have a PC to begin with and don't like/want to learn how to run/buy one properly. Granted, I am biased. I have no interest in either Racing, sports or Beat'em ups, which knocks majority of the justification for a console for me, the rest either don't exist anymore (shoot'em ups, side scrollers) or they exist on both (FPS, RTS). Which is an easy choice for me, PC all the way. Our society is also very different, most of our social interaction happen on line (if you seen us, we are very crowded to do anything social together, so we just do it at home online), so PC's are a big thing here while Consoles are not nearly as popular. Last, Consoles can't do mods (at very least, not as easily), and they can't do much besides gaming. You cannot build your own console either.

Current consensus is that for the price it comes with (1 extra bind for essentially no gain over pre-existing 2h'ers), the update is dead on arrival. But otherwise, DW BAxes seems to be the best dps in theory (I have no idea how 2h fair against DW in a real situation where rotation are taken into account). My take is: Unless the weapons are better than your current 2h, I probably won't bother with it. I am getting little enough binds as it is

Unfortunately, while that statement is sound in theory, in practice the slower weapons do more damage than fast weapons at the same tier, at least for 99 strength, and holds for at least rune and dragon weapons. The difference is minor (around 1% between fastest and average, with fast somewhere in between), but maybe enough to persuade some ppl to use fast or average weapons over fastest weapons. + damage armor also have the same 'issue'
