Although if you don't think you will be using the demon horn necklace for anything else but dagganoths, Twist Bird skull necklace is good too (normal bones restore the same amount of prayer for all 3 necklaces, making the lowest one best value if only normal bones are concerned)
-
And the fact that single target DPS, Vine Whip/EE > Maul, not counting accuracy
-
surely an off hand weapon would easily off set the damage bonus of a bcp? :P
-
Did you try avoiding the whirlwinds?
-
I thought you needed Void gloves for the void effect, or did I miss something very important along the way?
-
I think you've figured out yourself how to fix your problem. Not exactly, because I prefer not to get hit by the monster I am trying to dragon breath, which is why I am going through the trouble of standing diagonally from him in the first place.
-
Which is a problem, because I only use Dragon breath when standing diagonally from a monster, and it misses a lot.
-
Oh, in case anyone having the sky high jump teleport, it's currently bugged in such a way that during a home port, it looks like you have a very severe case of parkinson's disease inflicted through out your body

Have fun living in the past with No updates Q: Dragon Breath just simply have a low chance to hit compared to every other ability. I have yet to miss a wrack on Barrow brothers since the last update, but my dragon breath only hits half the time. Having the Sonic blast cast before that doesn't improve its accuracy a great deal either. it seems there is an inherent inaccuracy with Dragon Breath. It's been like that since EoC was released, I am surprised its still like that
-
My take: Sonic Wave: YUM! I always wanted something else besides the horribly inaccurate Dragon Breath or the under powered Chain (on single target). Flurry sounds like its going to be a bit of fun to use, finally an AoE for DW. Edit: to be honest, I think momentum should just be like Incite, where you can switch on or off without having to go through the adrenaline.

Tribute to Guthix (free players and members) The events of The World Wakes have already made waves across Gielinor, and no-one has been more affected than Guthix's druids. Memstix and Runestax are spreading the word just outside Falador's north gate: extolling the teachings of their god and honouring his name. Speak to Memstix to pick up a three-piece cosmetic set of Guthix-themed gear, as well as an emote and an impressive override for two-handed swords: the Sword of Edicts (which, once obtained, can be displayed through the Customisation Interface). These free gifts are available immediately for free players and members. Guthixian butterflies have also begun to manifest throughout the game world. Catching enough will unlock memories of Guthix himself, where all-new lore about Guthix's life as a mortal, his ascension to godhood, and his relationship with the goddess Seren will be revealed. Up to four memories can be unlocked each day, and there are 15 in total - keep catching those butterflies if you want to unlock them all! Members will also get XP in their lowest skill for each butterfly they catch. You won't earn XP or unlock any more memories for catching more than 20 butterflies per day, though. Finally, Memstix and Runestax are building a tribute stone for Guthix just north of Falador. To pay your own tribute to Guthix, contribute a piece of rune essence to the stone. When you do so, you'll find out how many players have done the same thing. The stone will persist even when the event is over and - if at least 250,000 rune essence is added across the game worlds - the stone will act as a permanent prayer altar and small obelisk. Enjoy! Mod Maylea How to start Tribute to Guthix: Speak to Memstix just north of Falador, by the lodestone, to receive the gifts. Speak to Runestax - in the same place - for more information on the tribute stone. Butterflies can be found throughout the world Requirements: None, although only RuneScape members can earn XP from catching butterflies. New Combat Abilities (free players and members) In another batch of awesome EoC updates, we've introduced four brand-new combat abilities - two each for rangers and mages - and also expanded the functions of two existing dual-wielding melee abilities. Magic Sonic Wave (level 8, two handed): This basic ability deals 120% of your active spell's damage gives your next attack a 10% accuracy bonus against the affected target. It has a five-second cooldown, but is a great way to help that big ultimate you've been saving up hit its mark. Concentrated Blast (level 12, dual wielding): This basic-tier combo ability fires out three magical blasts - each causing 100% spell damage. Each of the three beams has a 5% greater chance to critically hit than its predecessor, so the damage can really stack up. Ranged Dazing Shot (level 8, two handed): As with Sonic Wave, this basic ability deals 120% damage and makes your next attack against the target 10% more likely to hit. It's a great way to set up your enemy for a big coup de grace. Needle Strike (level 12, dual wielding): This basic ability does a solid 120% weapon damage, and increases your next hit's chance to critical strike by 10%. Unload: This ultimate now does up to 110% damage per hit to enemies in the target area, with each consecutive hit adding 10% on top of the previous hit's modifier. Attack Flurry: The flurry of blows put out by this dual-wielding ability now affect consecutive enemies in a 360 degree area around you. As soon as one of these misses, all remaining hits in the six-second duration hit your original target, so accuracy is key for continued AoE carnage. Strength Frenzy: This mighty dual-wielding ultimate now causes up to 110% damage per hit in a 10-second melee barrage against targets straight in front of you, with each consecutive hit adding 10% damage on top of the previous hit's modifier. As always, let us know your feedback on how these abilities are working out for you - as well as any other EoC feedback you have - on the forums. Mod Avatar

probably because of "If it doesn't work, use" Soul Split.

it's usually one hour direct repair costs seem to have been brought down from the extreme "half of a randomly chosen stack of resources" to "50ish" Nuh uh, I had a 300 cherrywood repair yesterday, and I had aboit 1800

Hey long time no see Roswell. A good and useable combination atm that are easily afford is Vine Whip/EE, Chaotic Claw MH is also a good upgrade choice if you are not a fan of DG (the claw requires 100k tokens and a Dragon Mainhand Claw, which is a lot less than 200k tokens for MH CR/CLS). Chaotic Claw/EE goes a good awy. This is what I use for abilities: Basic Abilities Decimate (this is actually inferior to my other basic abilities in damage, but I use it as filler) Punish Slice Severe (Use Slice on every second ability, use Punish on every 3rd ability, and if both are available, Slice before using Punish) Threshold Assault Destroy (Flurry is optional, but it doesn't do a lot of damage) Ultimate Berserk Try it out and see what works and what doesn't
-
That's the exact premise which I bought the Claws on. Right now EE is only bested by Drygore off hands in terms of raw damage (and even then, it's only marginally better damage wise), so a MH claw and EE is a better combination atm. If EE does indeed get nerfed, then I can just make the off hand when that happens.

Nautical is more useful for overall stats because you get bonus to SF, which has slightly lower by default due to lack of figurehead
-
Combat academy? I'd be surprised if you got any combat xp there at all, you dont get to kill anything in there...
-
She meant buy the level for super antifires. Also, claws only require 100k tokens for the same dps as MH cls/cr as well, though it requires an initial investment of Main hand dragon claw (but the fact that it starts on 100% condition instead of 20% already pays for itself).
-
Unless you have super anti-fire potions, you might have a hard time against Black Dragons. Black dragons are now weak to ranged, which means they are mage type, and thus resistant to melee. The only decent and easily accessible ranged weapon you can use with an anti-dragon shield is probably Sagaie or Blisterwood stakes (the latter if and only if you have at least almost completed Branches of Darkmeyer). Rune crossbow is totally rubbish now because it's only t50 (coupled with the fact that it cannot fire practically all of the high end enchanted bolts). Chaotic crossbow is, should you go for it, a very worthwhile investment, but only if you dual wield with it (which costs 300k tokens)

RS is pretty much the only game I am aware of in which skilling loses you money. Skilling before the 99 capes came into existence also had a chance to make money, albeit not at a high rate For the purpose of 'Progression', it is entirely possible to completely skip skilling save for meeting quest requires in order to get top gear. It takes far longer to do it by skilling. So in essence, the only real practical thing Skilling contributes to a player, right now, is a cape he/she wear on your back that has the same stats as a combat skill cape, albeit different colors and emotes.

17 barrow items in two days, which all were doubled due to the double drop weekend (plus over 2000 runs, over 100 items, 10 Guthan spear drops, gathered over 500k mind runes purely from barrows), and my first Dragon pick 'drop' was in a deathpile in DH Crypt >.<

Hate the community, not the game. Runescape of 2007 is not coming back, what have returned is just an empty husk of the game itself, what filled it, to me, was far more important than anything else that happened in 2007. I'll do anything to relive the Runescape in 2007 experience, but 2007 Runescape in 2013? I'll stick to my "EoC"scape. At least I don't have to play alone on there

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
chenw replied to runescapeloser22's topic in Off-Topic
Unfortunately PoE has one feature that I don't like: It is not simple to respec. That kills the game for me pretty much, most of these skill point related games have that as a common feature which I am very much against (basically, it screws you over for your ignorance, and if you want to remedy that, you either have to pay through your nose to get your char respeced, or just rebuild another character completely), so either I find the information about best spec either before I even start playing, or if I can't find it, do a very painful trial and error. I'll stick to D3 for now, at least I don't have to waste characters to do trial and error -
The bigger question is: If the Old community of 2007 were brought to the live game, and the current live game community is brought into RS07, would there be as much interest in RS07 as there is now. What I am asking is, for those who wanted 2007 back, I am sure most of them have fond memories of the game, but is it caused by the game itself or the PLAYERS playing it? Would there be as much 'hate' for the live game now if the 2007 community core never changed and retained until now? Is it that the online community is going downhill, making people's experience with the game going downhill, but instead, people blame the game for it? And they wanted 2007 back because their good memories were during RS 07, not BECAUSE of RS 07?
