  1. You don't have to put your entire life savings into your gold pouch, you can just carry the odd 1000's so you can buy whatever stock shops you come across without having to remember to bring your cash with you everytime. Besides you only lose your money in the wilderness. Bringing money to the wilderness, with or without the gold pouch, is going to be foolish. It's just an extra storage for your GP without having to put it in the inventory. I'll most likely be putting Chisel, hammer, saw and tinderbox into my belt. I seem to have the most use for them the most. I don't care very much about the farming ones, the leprechaun is already convinient enough that I don't justify carrying them around all the time. Chisels are definitely useful for the slayer tasks, making bolt tips to make them stackable.
  2. Couple of staple quests you should do to ease your exploration: Fairy Tale part 3: Removes the need for a Dramen staff / lunar staff to use the fairy rings Branches of Darkmeyer: just up to the point of confronting Vanstrom, unlocks a medallion that gives teleport to many places in morytania, including Barrows Barrows are now only really worth doing if you have done Ritual of Mahjarrat quest (a Grandmaster quest, needs While Guthix Sleeps, another GM), since that quest unlocks another 'brother', Akrisae the Doomed. Obby cloak has too many better options out there that nowadays it just dropped to high alch price. Whips are still the norm, but you may find more and more people using different weapons now.
  3. The fifth herb patch is at My Arm's patch. You need to complete My Arm's Big Adventure quest to use it. It's on top of Trollheim The fruit tree patches are in Catherby, Brimhaven, Lletya, Outside of Tree Gnome Maze, Tree Gnome Stronghold and in herblore habitat. Lletya is probably the one you missed, since it was added when the new Hunter animals were added in the Elflands. By the definition of getting there as soon as possible, if you are using herb trees, not using the ones from quest is quite foolish, because in can do them between the times you harvest the herbs... your choice though.
  4. I'd say the reason why they didn't put knife in there was that it would conflict with the tinderbox if you used the logs on the axe, and choosing either everything you used a log on it gets aggrevating fast
  5. Do Fungal and Grifolic armor degrade like the Ganodermic versions?
  6. Didn't want to make another thread to clutter. The staff is only tradeable in either fully charged form or in its Stick form (AKA depleted form). In between the two, you have the option to 'Clean' the staff to remove all the spores left over from it. However, you will only receive half of your spores and fire runes back (rounded down), and you won't receive any if you only have 1 charge left over. Also, the Max hit from the weapon scales with your Magic level.
  7. Add UNCUT dragonstone to that list too (this one is definitely on the rare drop tables), and Adamantite ore(188)(Noted)
  8. Add Dragon Medium Helm and Yew logs(453) to that list too (I suspect these to come from the rare drop table). Neem Drupe and Nature runes also varies. I had received a drop of 73 Nature runes, 3 and 5 drupes.
  9. Source? It is in RS forums, pinned in the Recent updates. In addition to axing the Attack requirement, they also decreasing the Melee bonuses (since you can't actually melee with the staff), and increasing the lifetime of all Ganodermic armor while nerfing slash defence.
  10. After you are able to wield Polypore staff, yes, but Master Wand still have lower magic requirements.
  11. I am not going to bother with MoP, I find the entire concept of the content ridiculous, no matter how serious they try to make it out to be. Kung Fu Panda is a comedy, and making serious out of comedic origin just fails, especially when you are trying to incorporate something that is Eastern, and coupled with the fact that Kung Fu Panda wasn't written or made by us. Plus, the game has gone ridiculously downhill since the release of Cataclysm, most raiding guilds on our server, including what used to be our server's top guild, disbanded because there wasn't enough interested in raiding in Cataclysm. Random Heroics (especially the ZG/ZA) have grown very hostile towards new players. One wipe could mean the entire group leaving and someone shouting out 'read the tactics noob' or similar effect. My RL friends also switched servers. Considering I had 5 level 85's, I decided I wasn't going to switch with them (the entirety of Team 1 was moving, which means, if I switched, I wouldn't have a raid spot anyway). I had held respect for WoW because it was one of the few MMORPG games where level didn't come ridiculously hard (like most other MMORPG's), and that most of the top quality gear was untradeable (curse and blessing at the same time), but now it's filled with intolerant people whom I have difficulty in interacting with properly.
  12. Facts about the Polypore Staff: 1. Takes 3000 spores and 15000 Fire runes to charge a stick to fully charged Staff. Takes 80 farming, assistable, runes cannot be substituted, and gives no farming XP. 2. At level 99 magic, no other magic damage boosting gear or effects, max hit is around mid 300's 3. Spores sells for half as much as Death runes at the moment, yet does nearly twice the damage. 4. Finally a use for the huge stockpiles of fire runes. 5. The charged staff changes look at half charge, look discolored and withered, as well as a game message. 6. +20 Magic attack bonus, +13% magic damage and +5 prayer.
  13. Does Staff of light increase its chance of saving runes if you use it with DEPLETED Battle robes from Fist of Guthix?
  14. Banned for Banning a crew! You know how hard they have to work to get the site up?! :P
