How do you work that out? $50 an hour is rediculously low for a prostitute, yet $50/hour wage is enviable. Even after preparation/cleanup time and tax. And how many functional members of society would be a prostitute for $50 an hour if they didn't need the money for drugs? Probably not too many. And yes, add in licensing fees, cleanup, tax, etc...and legal prostitution becomes much more expensive than illegal prostitution ever was. 1. You don't have to continuously working. It'll be an ideal Part-Time job, or for those who just doesn't like the working hours other job offers. You'll have much more free time compared to others of similar monthly earnings. 2. Financially perhaps, hygiene, health and perhaps dignity? I'd say legal one comes out MUCH better than illegal. I'd much rather pay taxes and earn less on a job if it means it's legal and respected.

If you dont feel like doing a long winded quest, Brackish Blade works well too. You can also train strength with it, in case you want to

Hmm? Into the Ancient Cavern? Sure you can. I mean I don't know if the whirlpool still blocks familiars, but fairy rings and the ferocious ring are faster anyway. *shrug* Whirlpool still blocks your farmiliar, but I can confirm neither Fairy Ring nor the Ferocious Ring block farmiliars.

1. Although the Guide is severely outdated, Muggiwhplar's guide still works. I still use that guide to this date. You can replace Crystal Bow for Rune Crossbow with Broad bolts or Better and any shield. 2. Buy what seperately? You only mentioned Tassets 3. I have never gotten a Effigy on task, so it's normal. 4. I'd go Turmoil, it has longer lasting impact than Gear, and is more pratical in general. 5. Personally I won't do either, because I enjoy some RC'ing and can fund Summoning. If I was forced to, I'd do Summoning, unless you already have enough charms hoarded for your desired level.

*Points across the Atlantic* Anyway, I think we are going off topic here

Christmas is entirely a Christian concept, so in a country where religion is throw around like basketball in a court, it would be wiser to use 'Happy Holidays'. Countries that have less issues with it (Like mine) or are overwhelmingly majority of its inhabitants are Christian, Merry Christmas is used more often.

Any word on the DirectX/Bloom/AA bug?

Wouldnt using air runes be more economical at the moment, given the price of fire runes is nearly double that of an air rune?

One of the multitude of reasons why strength pure are pointless exercise...

I farmed for 2 weeks before getting my second farming stone, and it took me 2 runs in the next pair of farming rocks. I doubt it

It works completely different to what you described: You deal 300 Damage, your opponent's defence is decreased by 30. When you hit the same person again for 300, his defence will again decrease by 30, so on until his/her defence is at 1 (IE cannot decrease anymore), which the remaining will overflow to strength. If strength is then at 1, then it goes to attack, repeating the process.

No, Because Mining isn't an assistable skill

Let's just hope it doesn't turn into a Die Another Day scenario...

I was already maxed with the Flail skill when I did the quest, so unfortunately I do not, and cannot obtain any data from lower level skills. However the +100 damage is most apparent in that at max skill, stakes can never inflict less than 100 damage when it hits, excluding misses and situations where the Vampyre has less than 100 Life left. The only source of the numbers I have gotten was from Rune wiki. Official RS Wiki only stated 50% damage boost, which alone is nowhere near enogh to explain the damage of the stakes (up to 500's). Will try to get in contact with Jmod asking if they can offer insight to the actual bonus of the Flail Skill. What it is starting to look like is that it's more like (Base damage + 100) * Void Bonus * 150%, ( (Base Damage * 1.2) + 100 ) * 1.5 only got 470's

Removing a plant with Weedkiller would eventually lead to another sprout. Removing the soil around the plant would kill the plant for good. Stopping terrorism as it occurs will never be as effective as removing the reason for them to become terrorists in the first place. For every Terrorism law you introduce, better terrorists will eventually work around them.

You cannot melee Ganodermic Beasts. Those cannot be damaged effectively with Melee and can only be maged, so PPS with arcane stream is your only option with those. On the others I haven't been testing them out, but PPS's max hit is somewhere around 600 under ideal circumstances with slayer mask on task, but has the disadvantage that damage from boosted stats decays a lot quicker with magic than melee.

Reckon I should use Korasi's Sword for the stab or stick with whip? (Assuming I'll be using Dragon Defender)

I'd only use Entangle/Blitz if and only if it will result in saving you money compared to straight up tank and spank. If you use house to recharge your prayer, I'd use Entangle. If you don't, I'd use Ice Blitz.

Throwing knives and darts are very rarely used anywhere, let alone Stakes. I was trying to use the stakes' basic damage to guesstimate how the effects of Stakes on Vyres and the Flail skill stack together, but because the ranged strength was in between addy and rune darts, I had a hard time trying to find a ranged weapon that matched stakes in ranged strength (i eventually found Steel Javelins). I'll post more info when I get it. But preliminary guesstimates indicate that, if the Official Wiki's description were to be taken true (50% damage boost to vyres), base damage from ranged level is calculated first, then Void and Eagle Eye. then the 100 damage from flail skill is added, finally 50% damage boost is applied. I'll post more info once I test more, but the above is the only way I could get the damage of the stakes to go above 450, more than double of 214 I got from normal ranged weapon with 12 ranged strength, extreme, void and eagle eye.

Any one got a rough idea on how much Green Dragon's one could kill in CT in an hour? Just wondering the potential XP per hour compared to crafting astrals. I currently craft about 5k astrals per hour, which is about 1m profit per hour. Would it be better for me to keep RC'ing and use the profit to buy bones or kill green dragons, keep bones, sell hides to buy more bones?

I was under the impression that since WC is so popular (it is my highest ranked gathering skill of the 3, yet it is my worst ranked of the 3, by a LONG shot, I was assuming there was something with it), there might be money in it. I have never ever cut for money, so I don't know the profit per hour. Barrows yes, he'd be fine, but his lowish defence level, Verac and Guthan might trouble him a bit.

Given your skills, the things I suggest are: 1. Cutting Yews/Eucalyptus logs. They are slower, but they don't require any capital investment besides buying an axe. You need to complete As a First Resort.. for the latter though 2. Barrows, though given your combat skills, you might find it tedious. 3. Killing Green Dragons, sell the hides. Probably really crowded.
