First Skill for me as Firemaking Then I trimmed it with cooking, because it was the fastest to trim my FM cape with (back when the 99 trims were the amongst best available) My first combat 99 was defence I still have yet to get any gathering skills to 99.

Old, uncommon, or outdated training methods

My old way of making money: Waking up early in the morning to World hop F2P worlds to buy out the Death and Chaos runes and sell them off on World 1, there was a time where I made 1M a day that way. Then I began merching God Trimmed armors, and left F2P for P2P with enough money and skill levels (at the time) for a Whip, Obby Cape and Obby Shield straight off the bat (2.1M whips, 300k Obby capes and 600k Obby Shields). I used to Smelt mithril in mining guild, world hop for Addy ores in the hill giants dungeon near varrock, having a mining competition against other players for coal in Barbarian village and Swamps (using a STEEL pickaxe)... good times. -

If the idea of 'Accomplishments' is to be taken from the view of 'other people's eyes', then yes, I'd agree that Accomplishments are losing their value, but it is bound to happen as time goes on, on the very simple fact that more and more people will eventually achieve that accomplishment. Sure, speeding up XP rates via game updates or getting XP via illegitimate ways (either directly or indirectly) will speed up that process, it is bound to happen, as it does so in real life. And one have to remember that, this game, given all it's credit, is over 10 years old, no other western MMORPG have ever ran this long and still being able to at least retain some of the appeal, something even WoW have to stand up against. Whether desirable or not, I don't think anyone in their capacity can do anything about. Is this a bad thing? It depends on your definition of 'Accomplishments'. If it is solely to show people off your 99 cape, your 200M xp, whatever, then yes, it's bad. Can anyone do anything about it? Not unless you want to anger more people than you satisfy... If the idea of 'Accomplishments' is to be taken to a more personal level, as in the feeling of accomplishment after setting your target, be it 120 Dungeoneering, 91 Runecrafting, or even simply Agile Top and Bottom, unless there was a new way to completely trivialise XP gains, then I don't think having a better way to train XP is that detrimental to that process, at least in my case (I cannot say much about other people as this issue is seldomly discussed). I personally level skills so I can achieve my own target of being able to do this, or being able to do that, ultimately ending the journey of being able to do everything, and that, for me, is very difficult for me to devalue. -
Although I think the word 'Terrorism' as changed to "acts of violence or intimidation to civilians in pursuit of political gains.". Such attacks on Military Installation rarely incites the same kind of 'Terror' effect into civillians, unless more Civillians die than Military.

Not to mention the fact that with Drakan's Medallion and Ardy cape, recharging prayer after every run is extremely trivial and fast. at 71 prayer, he would most likely have the most dangerous 3 (Dharok, Karil and Verac) dead before his prayer run out. The rest of them doesn't hit that hard to warrant Ice barraging (Guthan and Akrisae are laughably weak, and Ahrim doesn't suffer from Barrage).

Another one in the name of the Rich instead of the oppresed Nice one Do"J"...
-
It also depends on the definition of 'Rich' and 'Poor' You can have 1gp and be considered 'Rich' if you wear a Herblore cape, at least by other people. You can have maxed out cash and still be considered 'Poor' if you choose to think you are 'Poor'. It's a subjective adjective

The only method I am aware that falls into that category, and is completely uncrashable is temple building... :P
-
Uncrashable and Multi player unfortunately don't exist, if it is multi player, its crashable, if it isnt crashable, it isn't multiplayer.

Seem to be missing the shield spots: You can go with Illuminated Unholy book/Unholy Book (for the prayer boost and decent attack), Arcane Spirit Shield (for the attack boost and decent prayer) or mages book (if you don't have either of the above) For the record, Karils and D hide are NOT mage gear, they are ranged gear :P

I understand the need for humans to believe in something, but I do not, in anyway, believe in how this 'God' is depicted. I myself grew up in two societies, One that is predominantly Buddhist (Taiwan) and another that is predominantly Catholic (Ireland). However I grew up in a family with the mother's side being rather devout Christian (her father was Apostolic), and the other half is Buddhist only because my father is registered as one. Throughout my education (elementary/primary in Taiwan, Secondary and university in Ireland), I have come to accept that, while many things can be explained scientifically (at least somewhat), there are things that we simply do not understand, as we currently lack the intellect to do so (EG origin of the Universe, most of them are theories). This would be similar to back in the days where Humans did not understand the concept behind lightning and thunder (which we now understand as a large scale static discharge), the people back then believed it was a divine power that was angry at humans, and perhaps made up stories or legends about these seemingly divine powers. This is what I personally believe to have happened with the Bible. Using the above example, a person with knowledge of Static discharge would describe lightning in a vastly different manner than that of a person who did not understand the concept behind it at all. This would eventually evolve to legends, myths and even text which religion are based on. While I understand why this happened from historical point of view (many troubled times back then), it still doesn't convince me enough that Bible is in anyway 'true'. To me, it looks like glorified version of true events based on eye witness accounts who did not understand the rationale behind it. If god was truly as good as he described, then he certainly picked the wrong time to send his son to us. Because with the religion split that is rampant in our world today, now would be a good time to send him. TLDR: I don't believe in any of the 'gods' that this world's religion depict him as, since all accounts are based on a divine text, which I consider as a glorified story book.

That's what I made my error in, I did not expect the entrance dialogue to have such a profound effect that it would affect later decisions. Although I have to admit, I make my errors because even to my close observation, I didn't know the character enough to know what kind of personalities they had, and how it differed. In my first one I had to guess between the 2, I tied up the wrong one, and turned out the other was the correct one. If I knew to take a closer look at their personalities, I would have got it. I got my second one right, I thought it was pretty obvious when the personality of a person flipped 180 degrees. the third and forth were both disasters, as I had not expected Char to possess someone she already possessed before, so I felt embarrassed.
-
And possibly a reflection on your deductive and perception skills, both of which I grossly overestimated. I was confident that I would be able to save all of them before I started the quest, thinking it would be bloody obvious. It turns out I made a LOT of wrong assumptions (such as never possessing a person more than once) and got more of them killed than I liked to admit >///<

I started playing when a friend introduced me to it, he quit shortly after. But I kept on. RS was the first true MMORPG i have played in my life. I started back in 2004, when RS2 wasn't released for very long (I didn't recognise that fact, as I never even heard of it before). Once I started going into it, I realised how RS broke my entire perception of Java. Before I thought it was all just applets, but I realised it was an entire Platform. Due to CC problems, I did not get members until March 2006, that's when it kick started me on my RS career. I enjoyed the great variety of skills and things to do in P2P, i thoroughly enjoyed quest story lines. My favourite story line definitely has to go to the Mahjarrat line, as I favor Zaros over all other gods, except possibly Serene. I find it unfortunate that the lined ended abruptly and there is a Deux Ex Machina at work towards the very end. My favourite single quest has to be One Small Favor. It is possibly the only quest where your character properly reflects your thoughts when you were doing the quest (wouldn't you be annoyed that the reward for travelling around Gielinor was an unappreciative remark?), and I did enjoy travelling the world, so to speak. I would like them to introduce a few quests that would lead to morally ambigous choices, Like perhaps a person who has good intentions is actually evil and a evildoer having good intentions.

spoofer: that question reminded me of someone who was obsessed with the color and the fruit, on these forums. On topic: I didnt manage to kill the boss last night, couldnt figure out how to tackle the boss down lol. Will try again later. PS does the number of people at the end affect rewards?

My experience with magic gear is nowhere near my experience with maging in Verac set (which comprises of at least 50% of my barrowing career). But whenever I did try it, the only thing I noticed was that I had to change armor between brothers as Magic robes had very low defence. I hadn't tried using Ganodermics, because I was frawning upon its total lack of Stab and ranged defence, especially stab, which is Guthan's primary attack. I'd rather take tank him with a high stab defence than with prayer and low stab as he heals through prayer, thus can make the kill slower. I'll try Gano sometime once I have more flakes. I was recommending verac's adamantly for several reasons besides its low magic attack penalty. Prayer bonus, defense bonus, the fact it is repaired with low amounts of cash (as opposed to flakes with Ganodermics, or the higher upkeep costs of Nex armors, etc), and its starting capital requirement is low (you only need about 2.5M for the set, but you need fair bit more than that for Ganodermics).

Let me guess... they still haven't fixed the damn DirectX/Bloom bug?
