It was far faster to just speed through the entire TT before they corrected the monsters too weak issue. My escorting NPCs didnt receive and didnt deal any damage above 30, while I usually OHKO them. So I threw npc attacking to the wind and did 5 min treks.

the teleportation animation is pretty spiffy though

This is as close I can get for a pic in the game It is also the closest I can get to Ariane's own color scheme, the green areas and hair are recolourables, and there are two hair colors

Hands up for those who used to pronounce it as Thin-gummy-wut *hands up*

Seconding Vampyrism, a cheap man's Soul Split. Also, the skill accuracy related auras are not that great in practice, as from what I am aware, they stack multiplicatively rather than additively. To illustrate, I have 10% to chop a log every tick. using the 10% increase aura, i don't get 20% chance, i only get 11% (10% + 10%*10%). This info may be outdated, but that was why skill accuracy auras are not recommended Penance and Vampyrism are both 23000 base price, 17250 during the sale. Both excellent purchases

Karil's Crossbow out of the lot, rune crossbow, 1h or 2h, is now officially trash. Because Ammo it can use IS the issue. It cannot use ANY adamant or rune tipped or enchanted bolts.

Oh and for the record, the repair cost for both Virtus at 100 smithing and Ganodermics using current prices are similar for the chest, but more expensive for virtus for the head and legs.

I thought it was 80 Agility? (I am pretty sure it's from the cliff up behind Monkey's Desert Colony)
-
That attack speed is, I think, its melee attack speed, not casting speed. My casting speed tests with the Ankh shows the same result as Virtus: You cast like a .50 caliber Browning But I THINK the stats on the ankh was unintentionally set far too high, especially if you compare it to the weapons we got after Diamonds in the Rough quest, they all have accuracy around 100

Any items that have an alternative left click option besides 'Use' or 'Drop' will automatically default to that action when you put it on your action bar, rather than drop action. This means, Granite, Leaping fish, Logs and such cannot be used to action bar drop, as of now. And I agree, some things like Leaping fish could do with action bar default drop. Or even better, let us choose the default action for everything on our action bar... I probably would kill to default home port to previous location instead of opening up the screen every time

For killing 6 brothers, sure, For killing just Ahrim and Karil though, Switching is almost compulsary, otherwise it slows you down proportionally far too much. I also switch to Melee anyway against karil, thanks to mage armor's lack of ranged def. And since I switched armor, I thought I may as well switch weapons. I have not yet tried killing Karil with magic, but with ZS he usually dies once I fire my Threshold from empty bar. I doubt I'd be able to kill him anywhere near that fast with magic, with or without melee armor
-
At least the magic version also bind for 20 seconds, you can try it yourself. They only stun for 3 seconds yes, but they also bind (I was surprised myself too). I have not tried the Melee if it binds because frankly, I seldom require it
-
Assuming if you actually let him hit you. All 3 classes have bind abilities that I have seldom seen other people utilising.
-
The sizeable here have a meaning of 1 Basic (Havoc or Decimation), 2 Thresholds (only one of them is really useable) and 2 Ultimates, one of which does not use weapon damage either.
-
Considering the only Chaotic 2h weapon are either the staff or maul, your choice of either. I'd choose Maul because the T75 substitute is more expensive for Crush than Magic (1.6M vs 400k). 1h weapons are only really better if you boss or if you use momentum and DW, which for the case of latter, you need both MH and OH.

Nope, Salamanders are exclusively Bolt weapons, animations now do not give a correct indication of what element it is. This applies very heavily to magic abilities, where the element is based on the spell you have set to auto-cast, not the animation (EG if you have water surge on autocast, your Dragon Breath ability is counted as water, despite you breathing fire). Take note that, unless it was changed in EoC, Salamander is still a close ranged weapon

Every Sigil Spirit shield, barring Spectral, work like Divine Shield pre-Eoc, the only difference between the 3 are class difference (Divine is Melee, Elysian is Ranged and Arcane is Magic). Stat-wsie and Function are identical. the class difference comes into play when determining attack accuracy and defense effectiveness against others. If you dont have any chaotics, then your best weapons for each classes are: Slash: Vine Whip/EEE or Godsword Stab: Zamorakian Spear Crush: Saradomin Sword Bolts: Armadyl Crossbow (do not use dragon or rune, they cannot fire any decent bolts anymore) or Karil Crossbow or Black Salamander Thrown: Blisterwood Stakes/Sagaie Arrows: Crystal Bow Magic: Polypore Staff All are T75 weapons except Ranged weapons, which are T70's, Sagaie is T72. There are no T75 ranged weapons atm
-
No, because Polypore Staff spell, given the cost of the Spores VS cost of airs at the moment, is cheaper (12 gp vs 80gp), and it is also more powerful than Fire Surge. For general use, Polypore staff is superior, but for things like Glacors, GRS might be better. Polypore and SoL are also immensely easier to get than GRS (both of the former only costs < 400k).
-
That's a tiny screenshot, can't really make it out that well. Prayer Cape Full Gano with Barrow gloves RoW Polypore staff fury Karil top and bottom Crystal Bow Verac's Top and bottom Zamorakian spear 3 ovl flasks, 3 renew flasks, 3 prayer flasks, drakan's medallion and 6 rocktails.

Use Bind shot on him at the start of the fight, that should keep him away from you for a long part of the fight.
-
did you try using ranged Bind ability on him? Ranging/Maging him would benefit from the bind greatly, as he only attacks at melee range
-
It also depends on the bolts you are planning to use. In theory, the Dragon 2h crossbow cannot fire enchanted Diamond, Dragonstone or Onyx bolts. In practice, I think there is a bug that it cannot fire T60 bolts either, so no enchanted Emeralds or Rubies. Armadyl Crossbow can fire nearly all bolts, enchanted Onyx, bolt racks and Royal bolts being the only bolts it cannot fire.

It is crush now

Right, So in essence if I am specifically looking for Karil and Ahrim pieces, I'd be much better off just simply looting the chest after killing both Ahrim and Karil than to get my 6 kills? I had that question because lately, my rune drops at 2 barrow kills were negligible (in fact i'd be lucky if i got any), and certainly far far less than 1/3 of full 6 kills, so I was just wondering if this only applied to runes or items as well.
