The recharge cost of Gano far surpasses that of Barrows recharge. The full set of gano recharge costs well over 2m per 10 hours, while barrows costs 660k per 10 hours max (this is assuming you dont use your PoH to repair barrows, so it will be lower than that if you do). If you have Gano but not barrows, you are free to use Gano, but the cost will be higher eventually. If you have Barrows and Gano, use Barrows, slayer isn't that dangerous that warrants the use of Ganodermics.

Did this thanks to a friend of mine letting me know. I haven't played it yet, which is also keeping me from buying things now. I actually have a game backlog that is more than a game long now, and I always swore I would never turn into one of those people who buys games they don't play. I am not the only one with a backlog in that case, but I think I might have like 10 games back logged or something (Deus Ex series, Fear Series, Worms and latest acquisition yesterday: Saints Row the third)

And weapon still being the most expensive, so for an average smith (~80), the 3 parts would average to about 400k repair per 10 hours. You could always sell Subjugation once you're done I guess, on a related note, and not the thread jack; but did the price of repairing barrows get increased? Same can be said about Akrisae/Ahrim robes too.

Combat level to me is merely a number, not exactly an achievement. Before EoC I already found myself drowned in a sea of lvl 138's (and I was not a 138, I was a 136), so being drowned in a sea of 200's isn't a big difference. I find the total level to be a more important number than Combat TBH If anything, I can now switch off Combat challenges post EoC which I couldn't pre eoc because I didnt have max combat level then.

If you want to go on the cheap, flail is certainly a usable (and disposable) weapon. It's better to use it to breaking point, alch it and buy another though. QBD is nowhere near as difficult as she once was (at least I think she was quite easy, but I only did post EoC version, never faced her pre-EoC)

I found her to be quite easy actually. The trick I have found is that finding the gap in the firewall and running to the gap is a completely futile effort, its just simply better to run INTO the firewall so you wouldnt take more than 1 hit from each wall due to running side ways. Sometimes if you time it right, you won't take any damage from the walls. Very counter intuitive, but rather effective. I killed her with Black Salamander with SS up constantly on my second try, I only managed to forge the crossbow on the third try, which I killed her with half of my rocktails remaining. If anything, she is anything but impossible. Again, the trick is running INTO the fire wall, not sideways. Other things I have found: Stay away from her as much as possible, her fire breath seems to be more powerful as you are closer to her. Keep on the move near the back so you can avoid the ghosts and their magic attack. Tag the relics as fast as possible but you are free to completely ignore the grotworms she spawns (but having too many up will most likely interfere with your running, so if you have more than 3 up, kill them). The Crystal carapace and steel carapace mechanic can be completely ignored to save switching weapons. EDIT: Changed a major typo

Very correct, Rune crossbow cannot use any bolts comparable in power to black salamander's ammo. Saradomin sword is also a cheap alternative to CMaul.

With 90 crafting you can assist Niles, Miles and Giles setup a workshop to produce counterfeit Bank notes.

Or Black Salamander, in fact its a lot cheaper than Crystal Bow. It's what I used in my first trip, though I have a higher combat level.

I can confirm you won't lose it. I bought a 6 months membership for 4 months deal last christmas from Jagex, my subscription fees after the 6 months were the same as before. Unless the Bank Boosters you can buy from LP stacks with the Bank boosters you buy from RC, I wont be spending a single point of LP for bank space when it eventually gets released. With the $5.95 I am paying right now, I am paying $3.55 extra for the 2000 rune coins, which sums to about 30c more each month. I took that over waiting for LP bank space, because I needed the bank space now, not several months down the line.

6. Fire Giants are weak to slash, which is why CLS was suggested rather than CRapier (which are stab). The accuracy difference is big enough you will want to use the correct style whereever possible. 7. Godsword, Saradomin Sword, Royal Crossbow, C bow and Staff of Light/Polypore staff are pretty much the best things you can get with reasonable amount of money, and none of these require things beyond combat stats (except for Royal Cbow, which requires you to pay a visit to QBD and make it to phase 4. It is quite easy now, and the crossbow doesn't degrade, at least for now). Zamorakian spear is a good 2h stab weapon too if you want to use it. The reason why 2h are suggested over dual wield is that DW abilities absolutely suck for damage (fast weapons = lower damage, 1h = lower damage still) and only very few abilities base damage on both weapons. Added to the fact that DW cannot use any of the AoE abilities, 2h is pretty much the way to go. The only thing dual wield can work is if you are competing against someone else for the monsters, which Dual wield will tag faster than 2h due to faster auto attacks. But only works for Ranged/Magic and not worth investing in.

As far as I know, Loyalty points come as long as you are member, not when you pay. I do not see any reason why it should stop awarding Loyalty points. My Loyalty payout is 7 days behind my usual payment date, so they are not tied with each other.

The only thing I am missing now is the recolor of PoP armors, specifically Tetsu armor. Give me a Red/Gold/Black color scheme with a Katana, and I'll die a happier man.
