I am still 80% or so into the hook region, work doesnt play nice with ports, but I think I may have done something wrong. Instead of doing lower regions for port upgrades during work days and longer ones during weekends/holidays, I did it the other way round... I as of now, I am very behind. Managed to get my 9th scroll last night though, completed Sea Singer top and Gem Mining scrimshaw, working on Sea Singer bottom now.

Picked up Terraria yesterday for about $3.40, although to be very honest, I am not very impressed by how the game starts out.

But generally speaking, if you can use a 2h for that style, use 2h. Their abilities is better than dual wielding by quite a margin.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?
chenw replied to runescapeloser22's topic in Off-Topic
Just started and finished playing To The Moon that I bought a few months back but never got around to playing it. Let's just say, while the game play is a bit lacking, I don't think I have ever seen a better storyline in a 3h game, honestly. -
Also, whatever you were paying before your gold membership, you'll resume paying, at most, that much when it starts to take money from your cc again.

Even then obsidian armor has its merits of being equally effective at defending against every kind of attack, unlike any other armor suggested for fight caves, so it still reduces overall damage taken by quite a bit, even if the set doesn't work (in fact it doesn't need to)

To repair every piece of Gano you pay 2.6m for 10 hours of combat. Barrows is 810k (assuming you're not using a weapon) to repair every 15 hours of combat. It's 690k without repairing weapon or using PoH (the weapon costs 300k) But of course, this is assuming you don't die with it. For crossbows, it should closer resemble the following, purely from damage point of view Royal Xbow > Black Salamander >= Karil's Crossbow >>> Chaotic Crossbow > Armadyl > Karil Pistols Black salamander has the exact same stats and power as Karil's Crossbow, but the weapon is cheaper and no degrade. The Tars are on the rise though so it might end up more expensive than Karil's

There is a promotion for the thing we all know and love: SoF. Double SoF spins on all purchases -
Spices are something I have absolutely no interest in given that It is only used in rocktail soup, I have been and will be prioritisng Armor/Scrimshaw scrolls over the cooking one. In fact I probably will get the Rocktail soup last, as in last last, and by then I suspect the soups would have fallen to a price very similar to that of normal rocktails. The risk of failing the voyage and suffering the consequences pretty much guarentees I will never touch any spice voyages.

Or else they all have a set of Goods they can find, but in the above example, Biologist and Missionary both can find bones and just happened to have their bone voyages active at the same time

Sorry, I typo'ed my post, I did mean Speed rather than SF

Added Orcs must die 2 complete edition to my latest arsenal of "I will play this between now and end of time" collection

Right, but if we throw in a Great Firewall of China, would we still have the same conclusion?

I doubt it, since most traits are number boosts, not %. You can see how much the trait boots by hovering your mouse over the stat it boots. If I were to hazard a guess, I think the trait boosts your captain's SF by 150, with a base of 250, which at level 3 will end up with 450 SF (traits boosts are not boosted by levels)

Now that makes a whole lot of sense. Thanks! I guess I can start considering these voyages again. I would have considered it if it was for crew, not if it was for that amount of XP. Hell I would not have considered it even if it gave 25k XP.

More alive than RSOF if you ask me

I got 1 Life boat, and the ship its on became the one I send on low % voyages. On a lighter note: "Your ship Wondering Loner has been threatened with legal action for dropping anchor on a mogre's house" Anyone know how expensive it is to hire an attorney in RS?

except that the Life Boat addon completely destroys that mechanics by preventing crews from dying in the first place.

What Game(s) Did You Last Get and What Are You Playing?

Saints row the Third, havent even opened the Box metaphorically speaking. Will eventually get around to it. I am playing the odd AoE3 and Fallout NV lately -
As I was saying, all 3 are rather even at the moment

The chance to explode ruins the weapon in my eyes, since my luck will dictate that it will always explode at the worst possible moment. At least Royal Crossbow is more stable

If you mean which styles are used most often, it's pretty even atm, but most runes (especially chaos and deaths), as well as most 1h melee/ranged weapons have taken a literal nosedive. 2h Weapons are generally the way to go. ABS is still quite valuable, Wands and Books didn't exist pre-eoc. Nex gear have taken a big hit, So did GWD gear, although the latter are recovering atm. AGS has taken a nose dive. Can't really say much else that has changed...

There is currently either a glitch with the royal Crossbow that it does not degrade, or else it degrades extremely slowly (by extremely, I mean extremely. I have done 5 fight kilns with royal crossbow and a bunch of other slayer tasks without it going down a single %). Dragon Crossbow is complete and utter trash, either the 2h or the 1h version. Karil's Crossbow/Black Salamander are MUCH better choices. Karil has degrade cost, but its repair would take years, literally, to beat Dragon Crossbow (and add to the fact that you CANNOT resell the dragon crossbow). Black Salamander's Ammo is on the rise, but the weapon itself does not degrade, and costs literal pennies. Crystal Bow is also good, it degrades, but abilities do not degrade it, so it degrades slower (and thus cheaper) than one would expect it to. Bows lose their luster after T60. Expanding upon 2h, 2h Melee and especially ranged are currently far superior to Dual Wield or 1h/Shield combo pretty much everywhere except against bosses, which 1h/Shield is useful. Dual Wield is used only for momentum, and momentum's damage is inferior compared to using Abilities. Using abilities, 2h beats DW by miles because of 2h's AoE and the lack of abilities from DW that uses both hands for damage. To add salt upon the wound, most 2h are average or slower, and 1h are fast or faster, which means proportionally more and less damage per hit respectively, skewing the balance even further. So as of now, Godswords are literally the best 2h slash weapons in the game, and they are good. I have yet to regret purchasing any of the 2h GWD weapons, and I very often regret things. Also lastly, Armadyl Battlestaff also provides free air runes (the only staff T70 or higher), unlike Polypore, SoL or even chaotic staff.

No.....spikes?? Oh my god thank you Jagex! Is that it or is the concept art for the other sets released yet? Japanese armor don't have spikes, so if they added in I'd personally fly to their HQ and pull a Samurai on them.
