First 99: FM Most recent 99: Ranged (Hooray for Vyrelords and stakes) Next 99 in plan: probably headdesking

I also believe a word could accurately describe your feeling of 'Laugh and rage at the same time': /Facepalm

Which suggests that the problem lie with the ability of OHKO of melee special weapons, or precisely, how our characters fails to survive that kind of damage. Sure, Luck will be a factor in any kind of PvP, but as it stands, Luck doesn't help you kill the other person, it simply kills the other person regardless of whether they are full health or not. Currently I think our survival ability in RS PvP is far too low, with the problem lying in that our LP values are WAY too low for our own damage output, or else Defence plays far too small of a factor in the calculation, and hence the point of Pures (or arguably the lack there of) being made in the first place.

The Hand Cannon part is certainly appealing, but I find it extremely stupid that at level 99 FM the hand cannon still breaks. It is one of the primary reasons why I never use the Hand Cannon, I hate having it break on me at the worst time possible.

I'd suggest go on full on melee def, as long as your magic attack is above -20, you won't notice the difference with higher magic attack. All brothers, except ahrim, have exceptionally bad magic def. This is what I'd suggest for gear: Verac Helm Arcane Stream Necklace Ardy cape 3+ Verac's Brassard Verac's Skirt Ragefire/Infinity/Wizard/Mystic/Splitbark boots Seer's Ring/Explorer's Ring 3+ with a RoW for swapout Barrow's Gloves Polypore Staff Arcane Spirit Shield/Blessed Spirit Shield/Normal Spirit Shield With D Claws, Rapier and D Defender in inventory.

還好沒把Coffin變成Coffee...

Polypore staff has its own built in spell, so don't worry about that. you dont even need to carry runes

70 is enough, although the higher the better. Crystal Bow is also good enough for the caves. If you use Rune Xbow, I suggest using a normal or a Blessed Spirit Shield, good defence bonuses, prayer bonus and no ranged attack penalties. For inventory you can swap for Enhanced Excalibur for free healing (or SGS is good too), another Crystal bow if you use it. 6 Brews, 6 Super restores, fill the rest with prayer potion. Also 1 prayer renewal is good for Jad.

If they dont mind questing and playing a bit of minigames, Full void with Piety and protect from melee and maxed flail skill with Blisterwood Polearm can be pretty good as well, drops stackable loot if they don't want to pick up corpses, and drops a fair share of rare table items, though they don't drop effigies.

Verac skirt helps with slower prayer drain and better defence than a d hide chaps. Fight cave creatures have a relatively weak defense that you won't need a very high ranged attack bonus to do well. The Gano/PPS combo is recommended for Jad, but for waves, ranged is better.

If it is slayer task, Full Slayer helm is better. Although I doubt you actually need the diamond bolts, I do just fine on Broad bolts. Assuming no large amount of money spent, you don't have much of a choice about the boots, the next thing costs about 18m. You can get archer ring, but it wouldn't be necessary. What i do suggest is getting a Blessed spirit shield and a Verac skirt, saves on healing potions, unless you don't care about using them whatsoever.

Although, to the most gamer population, appreciating a Game's technological significance probably is on par as how real is this compared to real life. Most gamers simply don't care, in fact some might frawn upon the fact it is built on java, let alone beating its graphics ON Java. I played WoW before, and recently came back to RS. While the graphics in WoW are getting more and more refined in the later expansion packs, a lot of the old areas look like the same old graphics back in the day. The bulk of the game also revolve around 'Raids', and the lore behind it. Basically once you achieve what you want in terms of status of your gear from Normal or heroic raids and such, there is nothing more to the game beyond grinding old content for achievements. It was fun for some parts, but Blizzard are also updating in such a way that less and less people are interested in professional raiding (both top guilds on our server, 1 Alliance, 1 Horde, both have disbanded). And the random heroics are now filled with more impatient kids that don't either tolerate a wipe and leaves after one, or one who clearly never bothered to gear him but for even the basic heroics. ... That and I find the whole Kung Fu Panda idea of the next expansion a ridiculous representation of the East. Panda yes, Monks yes, Panda monks, which were recently comedified in a movie for kids? No thanks! Runescape was different, not only it was a technological marvel, it was willing to update an entire engine, let alone old content, to make it look like it is today. This is what I respect it for. Now... if they'd fix that damn DX bloom bug I'd die a happy man

The best thing they can do is fix the glitch that caused this scam and ban those accounts who used this to scam other people. Your santa however is lost, they do not do roll backs unless it was something really significant like server-wide glitch or a really really big one like duplicating or something. Trust trades, in contrast to its name, is NEVER trust worthy, let it be them asking you to do the trust trade, or they offer to the trust trade to you. The only thing I can say is this, to put it bluntly, Get over it. It was partly your fault for falling to the scam, even if you were completely oblivious.

Not the case, although i have only seen the polearm used by someone else, they were hitting for numbers less than 100

Paw, thats Branches of Darkmeyer you are thinking of, not Darkness of Hallowvale

Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? :P

is bane ore smith assistable, and is it worth it?

There isn't a bane bolt for Dags -
what does it say when you try to squeeze through it? or when you tried to use the pickaxe on it? And I assume you have a light source?
-
Try physically use a pickaxe on the hole from the swamp side (Right click on pickaxe, Use Pickaxe -> Hole), see if that works.
-
Did you do the 'Lost Tribe' quest?
-
Could the Warrior Guild dummy also work?

For weapons that have more than 1 attack type of attack (such as Dragon Dagger, Claws, Korasi's Sword etc.), do they have a set type of attack (as in Dragon dagger's special is always treated as slash or stab), or do they depend on the style used (eg Dagger's Special is Stab if on stab style, and Slash if on Slash style)?

According to the info on Rune Wiki, max hit on Metals is around 500+. If you want to train Ranged only, and not caring about slaying or not, I'd go camping at Vyrelords with Blisterwood stakes. If you take cutting logs and fletching into account, it equates to around 100k XP an hour. -
Do one still need a 'suicider' for Rex these days, or are there ways to pass Prime and Supreme without making it a 4 way?

As far as I can gather, that entrance is only unlocked if you went through it from the other end (hive to surface) at least once, so you will still have to go the normal way first time.
