Well, from the looks of it, it seems that while Poncho, statwise, is superior to that of a Virtus chest, the other pieces are not, so basically, replacing the whole virtus set with Ganodermic set would be less effective than virtus. But, if you only replace the chest, at the cost of 200 Max LP (~14.3% loss of LP), you gain 28% Magic absorb, which may make it better, at least from mages point of view.

Does Magic absorb stack additively or multiplicatively with Divine shield?

Wutisrandommath You're assuming that a.) getting one piece is independent of getting another b.) each brother you kill adds a chance of you getting that item --> I.e. you kill 6 brothers, you can potentially get 6 items The assumption holds because there are (ro at least were) many reported and recorded double drops, or even a triple drop. In all likelihood, a single would be the most common, and triple or more drops would be so rare most people don't know if it is even possible. Perhaps, what happens is that when you kill a brother, his loot becomes spawnable, so for example, killing Guthan allows Guthan parts to be in the chest, etc., but multiple pieces from the same set are still possible. So instead of looking like each brother drops his/her piece, its more like X drops for X brothers, from the subset of brothers that died.

Nope, if your bank space is full, like 438/438 kind of full, it will not let you add any new items to the bank, even if it is deposit box. However, if you have space left in your bank, but over what you are normally allowed on f2p, you will only be able to bank p2p items, you will not be able to bank any new f2p items. The argument for the teletabs as a 1 click teleport fades to insignificance when you compare it to Ectophial or Tiny Elf crystal. Ectophial will let you bank and replenish prayer with the medallion without using any charges, while Tiny Elf crystal requires less teleports (Altar and bank in town already). Ectophial is free and Tiny elf crystal costs a fraction of the cost of a teletab (or even a law rune).

Perhaps it may be of use to the readers of the quest guide about these findings about the Illuminated God Books: 1. Illuminated god books are not unique, unlike the original copies, so you may make as many copies as you desire. EDIT: Drop and pickup trick is NOT needed to make multiple copies. 2. The Illuminated god books can be used to make more Illuminated God books, thus after the first copy, the originals are no longer needed. 3. Each step in the God Book will take 200 points of prayer, but you will still succeed in the steps as long as you have AT LEAST 20 prayer points remaining. (I have 86 prayer)

Verac armor all the way as well. You don't need any mage gear whatsoever to do barrows efficiently. Just don't go below -20 mage attack bonus (hence why I recommend verac, the brassard only has -6 as opposed to other armor's -30, that's without taking its prayer bonus into account). Black Salamander, Fire bolt w/ chaos gauntlets, FIre blast, any surge, Slayer dart, ice burst are all efficient ways to mage Barrows, but it is not limited to that list. Oh, and if you can or are willing to put the effort into questing, do Branches of Darkmeyer (at least till where you unlock all of Medallion's power), it will make Barrows faster by eliminating the running.

Unique? Everyone can buy one.. not so unique. If they were to be untradable, that would be a good incentive to get that fire cape. Now, it would just be profit driven, which in case of spending 2k slayer points makes sense.. 1 SoL and you gained back tha points. In my case: no ice wyrm task yet since I unlocked the ability, and getting close to slayer 99, so I consider training some more slayer to try out ice wyrms at least. Nevermind, misread that line

i am considering SLI because i wanted to have a computer capable of playing games at max resolution, max details (with some degree of Anti-aliasing), and I dont think none-SLI would have been good enough.

Hello to all you computer techies, I am planning to build a gaming computer in the near future, and I would like to build one from complete parts because frankly, thats what i always wanted to do :P Anyway, I recently have acquired a 600W aluminum casing power supply, and would like to know what kind of computing capacity it is capable of. FYI, I am currently looking into building one with SLI cards (2 being minimum, 4 being max i'd imagine). Also any advice about the company for the SLI graphics cards and the CPU would be appreciated, i am currently looking at an Intel Quad Core chip, Q9650 or similar. Cheers!

I use the horseshoe mine (north west of Brimhaven) personally, very uncrowded, easily accessible and also gives you free gold ores which you dont have to mine for. And I use farmiliars as well, since you can recharge on the way to the fairy ring.
