Rangers usually use fast hitting projectiles like knives/darts against monsters like rock crabs, demons or giants. I find that the max hit I'm hitting with rune arrows is the same as bone bolts from the xbow. Hence why i said you needed Mith/Addy arrows to balance out the xp over time (i took the speed of the weapon into account, i never left it out) I estimated that at my ranged level on yaks, i gain 36k xp an hour on bone bolts, and i get about 40k an hour with knives, But knives are more expensive, so the poorer players may opt for bone bolts instead.

But most of the things people train ranged on (like rock crabs etc) have a very low ranged def in the first place. You need mith/addy arrows to balance bone bolts for damage over time, which definitely makes msb less desirable.

Thats for a level 3 clue, and it WILL say on the clue to watch out for double agent. This emote clue is a double emote (2 emotes in 1), making it a level 2 clue so you dont need to watch out for it.

Here is what you should wear: Farseer helm Glory God cape Ahrim top Fire Staff Anti-fire shield ahrim bottom Barrow gloves (if you dont have it, Rune/addy is fine). Wizard boots (or mystic if you dont have one) Inventory: Runes for the spells Nature runes for alchs approximately 16 antifire potions (all 4 doses) an wc axe some money done. You do NOT need prayer potions if you are maging, because it is unlikely that you would be under any attack other than firebreaths, just KEEP your distance and you will not take damage.

Comparing the prices of Rune gloves and Dragon gloves, and comparing the stats of the 2, I would say no, dont bother. I dont think they go well if you wear rune unless you are wearing zamorak plate.

I dont think bow has ANYTHING to do with the damage, only the ammunition matters. Arrows determine the damage, while bows determine the accuracy, rate of fire and special attack In short (no pun intended), damage wise, Long = Short, Speedwise Short >> Long so short > than long for training.

Why do people suggest using Torags over guthans, while the guthan counter parts are actually CHEAPER??? Guthan plate is like 500k max with the EXACT same bonus as torags (which i believe goes around 600k?). The skirt is worse than torag's legs by 10, which is not a lot compared to the stats it already has. Guthan helm might not be worth the 1.9m, because you can get torag's helm for far less, and their bonuses are the same. In short: Guthan Body and Skirt are VERY useful on their own, with or without set. Helm? get torags if you want the defence, or go for Black mask/Helm of Neitiznot

and use the super glass make spell from lunar, so you get more glass (which you can make vials for personal use)

i have tried both, and Ape atoll is faster because you can do the laps on ape atoll a lot faster than you can complete a dorgesh'kaan lap, completely outweighing Dorgeshkaan's higher agility XP per lap. Not to mention that a fail in the course is several minutes wasted. In addition to that, you waste more energy running back because you will be carrying a very heavy item.

I would not recommend the Dorgeshkaan Agility course for anything, because it is still slower than Ape Atoll (fastest Agility XP atm).

It can ignore defence bonuses provided by armor (so like the hides of the Black Dragons, or Scales of Metal Dragons), so when the special hits, when determining your chance to hit, the armor of the opponent is treated as not there. HOWEVER it does NOT ignore the Defence LEVEL of the target, so if the inherent defence level of the target is very high, you wont hit much more with verac's set. For example, against a level 70 def with torags, you will find that you will hit more with veracs then for example whip (because verac's armor ignores Torags armor) however it will not increase the chance to hit a naked lv 70 def guy than with something with similar attack bonus as the flail, such as the whip.

Also, when a mage attack is being performed on you, if the attack is on the way to you, it is too late to put on the mage protect, it will damage you even if you put on mage protect before it hits you.

Its not 33% of the Prayer per dose, it is more like 7 + 1/4 of your prayer. For super res its 8 + 1/4 of your prayer (all rounded down) I am not sure of the exact number, but it definitely depends on 1/4 of your prayer, not 1/3

Still does, and still probably will To the original Poster: the answer depends HEAVILY on the item in question. Ectophial for example (as well as abyssal pouches) disappear the instant you die (even if the item would be part of your 3 items). However some will be on the floor if you die. Torso is one of them that it is dropped on the floor after you die. You will need nitroglycerin to kill yourself near the BA reward captain (and making sure that torso is not one of the items you are keeping), then tele back to BA, buy a Torso from the captain and pick the other one off the ground.

Its accurate on the BARROW brothers, it isnt any more accurate than other spells when it comes to casting on other players.

That is called merchanting, and as far as i know, it is long and tiring to make money out of it because so many ppl are doing it

Although may not be entirely true, but the highest pouch in your inventory degrades first, then the smaller ones (which one probably would have repaired the pouches before that happens)
