Try all sorts of things to get a feeling of the skill until you reach 27 (the level you can catch green sallies). From then on catch the best salamanders you can.

I used the cheap man's outfit (proselyte+Black d'hide). I got my cape after 5 tries. Crystal bows 900k 900k -- 720k 540k -- 360k 180k -- 180k Had a full one left I didn't use for training -- 180k Had a full one left after killing Jad. 3960k on crystal bows. Pots: 30 range pots 3k ea=90k Sara brews: Basically free, someone made them from my nests and toadflax. Super restores: +-1200k on super restores About 5 million. Worth it? Yes.

Ranging with a 2/10 crystal bow is a real pain (I did Jad with it.... don't ask), I don't even dare to imagine what it would be like to do the entire caves game with one.

A questing cape is not that much of an achievemtn, so I don't really care if low levels have it or not (more common amongst lvl 80-90s).

Back to 30k an hour for mining? Hmm. I don't think it was necessary, mining was still a very hard skill. If Jagex does this, they should also halve the xp for both Pyramid Plunder and Pest Control. I have no idea why they did this, why remove a moderately good method of leveling a skill and keep the 200k/ hour methods for other *hard* skills? :-k

I like the skill detail update, the magic page does look messed up with ancients though. And the fire cape update is dusrupting my sence of balance. Most pointess update ever.

It's nice when you don't have a fire cape and have money to spare, but else I'd much rather wear an achievement cape. If it weren't for my ub3r 133t f1re c4pe!!!1

Yep. Nothing new, and People have known this since like forever. This is not an effective method with those stats, it stays slow until 90 90 90 stats. And someone with 90 magic will still be faster.

I think adding options to skills beyond the level 85 would be a good idea. A lot of skills have no new things to do past a certain level. And there are not enough people with a lot of high skills.

RS2 product all the way, no pest control product however.

I think we can all agree that the hardest is slayer; it has the slowest xp/hour. However, agility is a lot more boring so to me those capes earn the most respect. Those and farming (almost forgot). The skill that earns the least respect from me, is fletching. Don't get me wrong; I still respect it but compared to other skills it's very very easy.

My only dragon drop is a dragon medium helm from the Kalphite queen.

Dagannoths beneath the light tower. I have heard people completing their assignment of 150 in 10 minutes.

It started off good with the maze but then... It was over. Too short and any monkey with 37 prayer and 60+ defence could do it.
