Guthix > Zammy > Saradomin. That order. You could try fire giants. There used to be a guide that showed really well how to find safespots where there normally wouldn't be one. Zammy is the only one you should. it may be "expensive" but it's the only book I actually use (I have all 3). Great for maging and ranging with 1-handed weapons. If you need the defence the sara book gives you, use a shield, chances are it's a lot better than the +8 defence the book gives. And Guthix is just a bad version of both. At your level you shouldn't be killing monsters for cash, the ones you can effectively kill have bad drops.

The whip is only slightly better, yes. But it adds up when you need 12,300,000 xp to max out attack (from 70). That adds up, and the difference is even noticable when you kill one monster.

At your level meleeing them is great, just use Guthans to heal. Magign them is a waste of money and ranging them is good if you have 65+ ranging.

I was very new when farming was released so I didn't even knew it was released back then. the first thing I can remember is the release of construction. I like slayer the best of those.

I was making pots in Lumbridge and overheard a conversation of 2 lvl 60s and one of them was deciding wich skill he should use to get a glory. I just withdrew one of mine and gave it to him. Another time, at the slayer dungeon, some guy was killing Jellies in full rune because he forgot his hide and didn't want to bank. I let him borrow my set of dragonhide, when his task was over (he had like 20 left when I logged in) he gave me his rune large drop .

I don't find any skill boring, but farming and herblore are just so tedious. 66 herblore would be nice to have though, but I don't feel like spending millions on it. And gathering herbs is very annoying. I sometimes have a "farming mood" but then I get bored and stop training it for a week. I got 48-54 construction with tears, the portals are nice but after that the rewards don't outweigh the costs any more.

I got my cape thanks to this guide . I used the most nooby gear (proselyte, black dragonhide and white boots) and can say that Veracs is a huge bonus (I almost died by the hands of the healers at Jad- three times, that is). Switching to your full crystal bow instead of using your first bow is recommended also. Now I think of it, it's a miracle I got my cape.
