I noticed in step 1 of the guide that Arianwyn seems to be gender-confused. I'm pretty sure Arianwyn is a guy, so it would be good to fix the words that refer to him as "her".

You could reset the puzzle and then destroy all the mirrors and crystals except the ones you start with. If you copy down from a quest guide exactly what you get at each stage of the puzzle, you could do it over in a sense.

Did you talk to the dwarf by the death altar and have him tell you he tunneled through? The entrance is at the dwarf camp.

The menagerie is open air, like the garden, so it has a "door" on each side.

Battlestaves were profitable last I heard. You'll have to do them on the side though, since you can only buy so many a day.

The list of destinations to which you can assign a portal is as follows: Lumbridge, Varrock, Falador, Camelot, Ardougne, Yanille, and Canifis. This makes 7, so there is no point in ever having more than three portal rooms, since the maximum number of portals per room is 3.

EE? Enhanced Excalibur. Its special heals 20 in groups of 5 every few seconds and gives a defense boost. You have to do all of the Seers' diary to get it.

In the section on brewing, it says the process of brewing ale can take up to 24 hours of real time. So, when I logged on today and found that my ale that I started three days ago was still fermenting, I was pretty miffed. So, I poked around in the KB, and found this page (http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/cooking_cooking_methods) which says you have to wait for several days before it's complete. I think the guide ought to be corrected on this tidbit of info.

In addition to the items already identified: The item under the ring of Charos (third row, first column) is the extended brush from Creature of Fenkenstrain. Completely useless if you've finished the quest, and fairly easy to get back if you haven't. Next to that is the fishing pass from Fishing Contest. Again, this has no use after the quest. Next to that is the conductor mould from Creature of Fenkenstrain. Ditto on its usefulness. The last item in that row is the bark sample from The Grand Tree. You can just talk to King Narnode to get it back.

It's doable, but as the others have said, they can get annoying.

Well I'll have to do some experiments then. Thank you very much for this bit of information! I'm glad my Falador 3 Shield will see some use after so long! As a sidenote, if you wear your Falador shield while harvesting from the Fally/Port Sarim patches you'll get extra exp.

So they'll grow even without being watered? I thought it only stopped disease and water was required to go to the next growing cycle. They'll definitely grow without being watered. Idk whether it affects the yield, but watering is not required.

Since you have all the required levels, I would recommend that you complete the Falador diary (if you haven't already done so). Doing this will let you trade mole skins to Wyson the gardener and get white lily seeds. If you plant these in the flower patches, they will protect all allotments so you never have to worry about them dying.

Train your range or magic? There's really no other way to do it. As you are no doubt aware, your levels are too low to do much at the moment.

The best advice I can give is don't stand in any one place for even a second. Take one chop at a root, and then run to dodge the attack.

F2P has a couple of minigames now: Fist of Guthix and Great Orb Project. The former is combat-based, and the latter is built around runecrafting. The other big change is PvP. Pking in the wilderness is gone, but there are now worlds where you can pk anywhere. Oh and the air altar has moved to southwest of Varrock, in case that interests you.

The way fast_ma did it was to have everyone except blue go to the south wall and attack it. Once the timer hit 26 minutes, everyone would use their cannons to kill all the squads attacking the wall. As long as you give at least 10 commands and last until there are 26 minutes left, you will get a rank. However, Jagex screwed over fast_ma by making it so you can only play on world 76 (unless you can get 20+ people together to play), which means there will be people playing who are not using the same strategy and may even try to deliberately kill you before you can get a rank. You can still use fast_ma's basic strategy; just be wary of the other players.

To be honest, people really overplay the agility obstacle. I had no problem with it at 60 agility. I haven't tested this thoroughly, but it seems having 100% energy when you attempt the obstacle helps you get across. The other part that people hate about this quest is the whole light puzzle with the mirrors. This is complicated by the fact that you'll be attacked over and over again while you're trying to solve it. The shadows that attack you aren't too strong though, just annoying.

Are you trying to start the quest? As far as I recall, that's the only part of the quest that involves Grubfoot. Make sure you have all the prerequisites taken care of.
