  1. Maging rock crabs is definitely a money loss, as they hardly ever drop anything halfway decent other than the charms.
  2. Can anyone confirm this? I spent a good amount of time catching sabre-toothed kebbits, and was unsuccessful at getting a sabre-like teeth drop. Thanks, - SerpentEye I can confirm this. I got one on my first kebbit after doing the quest.
  3. During the Quest i had him pop up in Varrock and kill me in the Square while i was reading the guide. So i dont think he only appears in/near the Desert... Did he pop up or was he standing there like a NPC? Only thing i can think of is somone doing DT might have ran past... He was already there when I arrived and then disappeared a minute later, so I guess it was probably from someone else doing DT.
  4. Recently at Lletya bank I saw a 'Stranger' like the ones who randomly attack you during Desert Treasure. It's been a long time since I did that quest, though, and I was obviously far from the desert where they normally appear during the quest. So what was he doing there? Has anyone else seen him pop up like this?
  5. World 99 is the unofficial world for 50/50 GOP games. If that doesn't work you can go to world 60 and look for someone advertising a 50/50 cc, or you could organize one yourself.
  6. EDIT: nevermind.
  7. I just wanted to point out that you missed what seems to me like an obvious way of getting sabre-like teeth: hunting sabre-toothed kebbits! I got it on my first kebbit that I caught after doing Fur 'n' Seek. They're in the same place as the sabre-toothed kyatts - they simply have a lower hunting requirement. EDIT: Just noticed there's another thread about this... :wall:
  8. You have to already be on top of the cliff to attach the rope for the shortcut. Go southeast to a swamp and you'll find the way up.
  9. That would be pretty funny. Too bad it's single combat though.
  10. You do have to plant an enriched snapdragon seed, which I assume would require 62 farming, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to boost for that as well. I did it at 63 farming with a summer pie, so I can't say for sure whether or not you'll need to boost again at that point.
  11. The only rooms with stairs are the quest hall, the skill hall, and the dungeon stair room. Only those three can connect to another floor. For example, in my house I have one of each of these three all stacked on top of each other with a spiral staircase to go between floors.
  12. There are 4 addy rocks in Lletya, not 7.
  13. Not sure about this, but chaos tunnels?
  14. They're probably casting one of the strike spells. They make their magic attack as low as possible so they'll never hit the spider and then just mage away. It's an easy way to train magic afk. It seems to have become popular recently, since lately I've been seeing it every time I go there. It's the same basic idea just put to a different purpose.
  15. Never heard of it. Where did you hear this word?
  16. If I remember correctly, you only need the herblore for the last part of the quest, when you make the potion to cure the queen. No they can't. You only need to have started Regicide to access elves.

It's been this way for years. For some reason, your character continues mining for a second or two after someone else gets the ore, thus making it possible for you to still get it after they did.

    Yes.
  19. People have had problems with clearing that hole a lot. Try standing right next to it and then using the pick on it. If that doesn't work, try moving slightly and doing it again.
  20. I think the point, though, is he doesn't want to do any quests. According to the Woodcutting guide, you can find one south of Castle Wars and one by Uzer. You could probably do those, as long as you avoid monsters along the way.
  21. I just went ahead and teleported to every possible location. That way the codes are all stored in game for you. Whenever you use the rings, a list pops up showing the codes for all the places you've previously gone to.
  22. I'm pretty sure you have to do Jungle Potion before you can access them.
  23. And if your friend isn't so nice you could offer extra money as an incentive. \
  24. They can both be bought from the shop in Oo'glog. I don't know how much of As a First Resort you have to do to buy them there, but if you can't you can get a friend who's done it to buy them for you and then buy them from him.
  25. He doesn't change styles every attack, but he does change them up. Also, keep in mind that his mage attack drains your stats so you'll either need to pray mage or bring some restores. Personally, I just kept mage prayer up the whole time.
