  1. I think a level 3 clue tends to have about 6 steps (rough estimate). The time it will take entirely depends on what the steps are. If you get lucky, it might take less than 5 minutes.
  2. Are you sure you didn't put it in the costume room of your POH?
  3. True. Prayer does not work during the fight (not even stat-boosting prayers). I'm assuming the guy who brought prayer pots didn't know that before he went in, so they ended up just taking up space.
  4. Okay sounds good. I'll try a few more times today. (Breaking from 79-80 fishing anyways.) Are the next rooms easier? I thought the first room was the hardest by far, but other people have different opinions. I didn't get hit at all after I made it through that room.
  5. Also, completing Regicide allows you to use the pass through Arandar.
  6. +1 though now with familiars should be even easier than it was then :| You can't bring a familiar into the fight, unless they changed it since I did this quest last year. It's still not hard, though.
  7. The fight will be no problem for you. I did it at 85 combat wearing rune. :D
  8. +20% strength sounds about right to me. When I was using a dragon longsword my max hit went from 21 normally to 25 with the special. It did seem more accurate, but I can't give a number for that. Also, the effect only lasts for the one attack. It does not boost your stats.
  9. ya...im slowly working my way to a rune defender...i just like slayer too much to stop lol...but how about a shield at any price limit? DFS's are good, of course, as are spirit shields. Broodoo shields are completely underrated and under priced (a few k, sorry I didn't mention earlier), as well. well i cant afford the first 2 even if i sold every thing i own lol...but whats good about the brodoo shields? They give a +5 prayer bonus and a + something magic defense bonus. They aren't great defense-wise, but I like them because they're cheap, although the fally shields sort of replaced them. They're especially good for a mage in the absence of a godbook because they give a small boost to magic attack.

    clue

Buy a sickle mold from a crafting shop, then use a silver bar on a furnace to make the sickle.
  11. It's right by the collector. You just pull it and all the mirrors and crystals appear in the tray, including ones you've destroyed.
  12. You could try by the Haunted Mine. There are a few vampires roaming around there. And, if you've done In Aid of the Myreque, the bank in Burgh de Rott is close by.
  13. You'll have to pull the lever and reset the puzzle to get them back.
  14. No. On my laptop I have the built-in touchpad and a mouse plugged in to a USB port, so that's basically the same as having two mice.
  15. You're missing my point. My contention is that the Tip.It guide for the Great Orb Project says this: I demonstrated that the robes do not give you the ability to craft extra runes as if you had the boosted level, which means the Tip.It guide is wrong.
  16. This. You do have to beat it first. Btw, you get the god cape from the mage arena in the deep wilderness, not from the mage training arena.
  17. Yes. You don't absolutely have to connect another room to every door spot in a room.
  18. This map shows where everything is in the area. The light green dots are the burrows you're looking for. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=jungle_region_map.htm
  19. There's Harry in the fishing shop in Catherby, but I think that's as close as it gets.
  20. You don't need those items anymore. In fact, just about all quest-specific items you can just toss once you've finished the quest. If for some reason you need them again later, you can get them back easily.
  21. What if the "scopes" it talks about here arn't telescopes but the mirrors you look through in the desert treasure quest. Another theory: What if by scopes it is a reference to the real life trial of John Scopes about teaching evolution in school. If this is the case maybe it's saying a mahjarrat will evolve, maybe to godhood. What if the sacrifice isn't the weak one, but the strong one? Mahjarrat sacrifice the strongest mahjarrat so they can go join the gods, in turn that mahjarrat helps the mahjarrat still alive. That could explain while lucien was trying to get the stone of jas and the staff of armadyl. I'm guessing maybe they'd have to fight the gods so only the strongest gets to go. Yeah I know, in my theory I completely flipped around everyone's thoughts. I don´t really think Jagex would refer to recent news from the ´real world´, and it sounds a rather dangerous topic too, with religious people possibly getting offended and all... The Scopes trial isn't exactly recent news. It was back in the 1920's if I remember correctly.
  22. That's right. Once you've started the quest, you'll never need to boost them again. EDIT: Dang, Vulxai beat me to it. :wall:
  23. I was wearing the top, bottom, and gloves, but it's impossible to wear the hat during the game, because you have to wear one that matches your team.
  24. There is a part of the quest that uses hunter but you can probably just boost again when you get to it.
