L0l, so i get back from eating, and my buddy lilneyerguy pms me and a buddy about 2 rc pkers, a 123 and a 106. We hop to the world, and the 123 is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly i see ahrims walking up from the trees. I slap on piety, and pull some MASSIVE specials. Downed for whip + ahrims + obby shield + rune :) Whip #9

Well, i was in my hot no item gear sitting around on w99 rc hills, when i see a 119. My first instinct is to use my mage short bow special with broad arrows on him for fun :) So he comes back and kills me, but as he does it, he insults me :( and i dont like getting insulted. So i gear up and rc pk em :) thats that, he wants another fight, so i gear up in standard edge gear, and it ended in a 32 32 special :) :roll: I hope you see this gallery kid. :EDIT: Since i bothered posting, I have another story :) So im ice plateauing up to go get 70 agility, and i see a lure team. They catch me in multy and down me (omg my cakes :() so i gear up in my "i dont care anymore, your gonna die" gear, and go into the fight in 50+ wild, 1 vs 4. After the first few hits, 3 log, and one is left dead :)

And smithing is girly :roll: I hope you realize how stupid that is, not only is it sexist, but its a redundant statement. Get off your macho ego and chill out. Rc pkers will exist as long as people are interested in making money via abbysal runecrafting. And from what I've seen, they seem to be sticking to the abbys for money. Is that sarcasm or are you that easy to get mad? Maybe Jagex wanted to create a somewhat easy way to get runecraft experience with little risk involved but not much for rewards. I've tried it out for a few runs and disliked it. But I'm 58 runecraft so I'm thinking its geared towards lv 70+ runecrafters. This topic is about runecraft pkers, not about the update. I never got to finish. The abbyss won't get as much use with this new altar so there should be less of a problem with Rc pkers. If you were not finished then why did you hit the post button? Once the novelty wears off, people will return to the abbys. Now this is a very quick way for xp, You gain so little profit that it is nowhere near what you could make rcing nats. People will get just as many glories off of RCers. :roll:

The abbys is still faster money, which for alot of people will continue to use. As long as it exists pkers will still be there, now get over this stupid ritual about every rc update lowering the number of rc pkers.

Good luck guys. I kinda feel stupid now, when i soloed the boss, i could only do 2 kills due to me being in torags >.> i just noticed if i used dhide and melee pray rather than torags and malee pray ill be more efficient. Oh well, Good luck guys, lemme see some nice GWs drops.

1. What is safing to you? Do you think it is good or bad? Do you consider it to be regular eating, and is it smart to do it? Safing is double edged. When other people do it to you, it does a few things. One, it stops them from hitting you, which lets you get more hits on them, and two, lowers their food, which puts you at an advantage. On the other side, I personally safe when i see a dagger, I tend to stay at around 50-60 hp, but i know a dagger can easily do 70 damage. So when i see the dagger, i usually eat a shark and have another ready. (noted, im 121 combat, im not some lvl 100, people can hit 39s in regular pk gear on me) Constant safing to keep at around 80% hp is annoying, but if it annoys you just dont fight them. Safing on dagger specs is completely logical to me. 2. What is farcasting to you? Do you think it is good or bad? Do you consider it to be a smart use of magic, or just "unhonorable"? Farcasting is great, not really at edge (although i do it) but its great for chasing. Keeps your opponant frozen while you do damage. Its smart, and at the same time, its NH. NH basically means not giving your opponent a fair fight, which if your on them and they cant hit, its not fair at all. But, I think of it as playing smarter. 3. Melee/range/magic protect in 1v1 in deep wild, what do you think of this? In deep wild, and even in relatively low wild, prayers should be used. What alot of people dont understand about NH pkers, is that we go out in say ahrims, whip, and karils. That alone is like 3.5m, not including the regulation stuff, and the stuff other people bring (mage books, ranger sets, ect). Now people that we call "tanks" go in Black dragonhide, dds, and whip (along with beserker helm, ect, basically a 100k pk at the most) and they try to kill us for our expensive gear. This is VERY annoying, as most people who pk in deeper wild do, we pk for money and fun, not just fun. people who do this waste our time, make us kill them, and bank, while they have a good chance of killing us if we dont pray. Its smart, but is also classified as NH, due to the fact they dont have a fair fight, but honestly, they are in gear that is worth 10% of what we are using, and wasting our valuable time. Thats my views, from a NH pker non-the-less.

Some people dont understand, with 99 attack, you dont hit EVERY hit. Ive had 99 attack for months now, right behind 99 str, and I can tell you, i hit on monsters around 60-75% of the time. I still hit alot of 0s on even low level monsters. Even with 99 att and str, i dont hit 30s every hit, Im just prone to hit more of them. My advice would be to keep them even, but if not, keep attack one level over your str, with the slash bonus of defenders, and a whip, you'll see yourself hitting quite a bit.

Just max both, or keep them even :? This debate mattered when you NEEDED attack to make contact pking, and with monsters, but now with defenders and whips, you can get MAJOR slash attack, which makes you hit OH SO OFTEN. And the thing about staking, that att>str only applies if you have defense, if not then str>att. Back to the point, back before defenders, it payed to have 3-5 attack levels over your strength, due to the fact the only slash bonus you got was from your weapon, possibly glory, if you gave up the str bonus, and possibly beserker helm, if you gave up the str bonus. (there were also unholy books, but you gave up major def bonus vs the rune kite, but it paid when you had 5 or so attack levels, and used a glory+warrior helm) Defenders add what, +17, +18 slash attack? Whips give 82 natrually. You have 100 slash attack right there.

Maxter126, he got me into rs, way back in classic. Good guy irl, good guy in game, and has a unique way of playing, going for treasure hunting rather than skilling or pking or any of the stuff normal people do.

Kinda weird that the only people i see with attitudes when it comes to pures are the people who post things about pures attitudes. While you may be right, I find that more people who are mains, skillers, ect are more full of themselves. Me and my pure friend were just talking in the wild about a rcer that just died. When the guy came back, we laughed at him. Not because he died, but he let the guy splash 3 entangles, when he was tbed in lvl 1 wildy. He went on to say I'm a combat noob due to my low total level, and that my friend was just a pure noob. Oh yeah, i can see the attitude there, the pure is totally at fault. :?

Grats on the whip pk, tbh if you would have brought dhide top and bottom with 10 sharks you would have gotten it. People always try to block >.>

Today started slow, I got out some pking fun on w18 edgeville, where i normally start. This guy was REALLY cool, he didnt even complain when i safed due to server lag. I was honestly going to stay till the death, he ran at 12 hp, which deserves mad respect in w18 nowadays. So im thinking of what to do today, then my buddy skili pms me "omg im getting 94 mage today, ill get it on you then we can pk". So he gets it on me, then we find a tber or two, and head to mage bank. It starts out fun, we find a 124, she gets tbed and taken down :D Then we got this lvl 100 or somthin, i log in late (gf bathroom) and book it to ardy lever web. I see the guy and i go for him, I take him all the way to ardy lever and without me smiting, HIS PRAYER DROPS :mrgreen: So i hit a 28 29 spec for the kill, and i get a nice surprise on top of the pile. Not bad, grats on 94 mage I_S_K_1_L_I Bball, great job :D Blink182_F55, you died, but made back the cash, DW people die alot, it happens. These guys were great, blinks first mage bank, skilis first time ancienting, and bball joining us was fun :D ill do it more often.

I killed like 4 rangers and burthroped them. Im sure they would be decent up in the sara area with guthans, but from the looks of things they are insanely strong. The warriors arnt THAT bad, i actually enjoyed my few tasks of them.

Well, my alarm clock woke me up an HOUR EARLY today, and seeing as there was no news goin on, i decided to play rs for like an hour. I head to w18 edge and have a few fights. First one was a 122, no smite, no venge ect. He was ripping me, but i came back. He ran though, so no kill. Next i find a DHer who wants to fight. This guy RIPS me up, im talking 69, 39, 41 combo, but i eat up and hit a 36 11 for the kill. Then a smite fight with a 120, he ripped me, plain and simple. I ran, and needed to log off, school starts in about 20 minutes XD

Pest control, now everyone and their grandma are in my old training spots. Dont be suprised if people find "new" training spots, that were never thought of before, just to spread out the masses of people who left pc and are at bandits/apetoll/skeles.

Ok, I know the first part was a tortoise, but what is the second part. I can only assume it is the low level terrorbirds, but I want to be certain. Please confirm this. The first part i copied as your tortoise drops. The 2nd part were my corrections of drops i got and noted during my slayer task of 174 warped tortoises. Sorry for the confusion

Sulphur, Mithril ore(4-5 noted), Adamantite ore(1), Coal ore(8), Tortoise shell(1-3), Swamp tar(20-30), Half keys, Weapon poison, Tangled toad legs(3), Cabbage(25-47 noted) I got a 6 noted mith ore drop, a 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 coal drop. Tangled toad legs are not noted, and you can get from 1-3. I also got a 48 cabbage drop. The rest matches what i got.
