Bait is supposed to increase the chances of catching them, but the time and effort taken to get the bait and put it in/on the trap will actually slow down your chinchompa catchery. Just skip it.

Yes, there have been rumors about this. I do believe that it was once confirmed that Andrew had a black party hat. If I recall correctly, a lot of the high level players back in RSC (way back.. 2001-ish), such as bluerose13x and her friends asked JaGEx if they could have a black party hat, but were denied. Not entirely sure but meh... it's possible. It has to exist before one can spawn it. If you try to spawn an item or NPC that doesn't exist, nothing happens. I think what you mean is "exist to normal players." Or something..

Sorry for the double post, but another question. I've got one greegree enchanted. Do I have to go buy another one from the shop before I go through the tunnel? Like.. do I need an unenchanted greegree for Zanook to give me a Karamja monkey one?

Alrighty... I started this quest a few weeks ago, but never finished it. Now I'm back to end it so I can continue with Recipe for Disaster, and to get that lovely Dragon Scimitar. But there's a problem... I'm stuck! I've gone back to the island and gotten my greegree, transforming me into that big ol' gorilla. I've read two quest guides, and they both say speak to the Seargent, and then to the Elder Guard. I spoke to the seargent, and he said I need to look like a Karamjan monkey. Speaking to the Elder Guard does nothing. I've tried talking to the captain, Kruk, but he does not take me to Awowogei like he's supposed to. Anyone know the remedy for this? I kinda wanna finish this quest and get it over with. Thanks in advance, ~Lunar

If you wanna be a Nat Runner, check the official Runescape forums. If you don't see any posts looking for runners, make one stating your availability and whatnot.

Pretty much the only way to make money off of alching is to get the Nats for free. This either involves runecrafting them yourself, killing monsters for them, or donations/spawn points. Usually when you add up the cost of one nat and one of the items your alching, it'll cost more than the High-Alch price... which you've already discovered. I myself went through my normal travels, mostly through Slayer, and amassed around 700 nature runes. I alched a bunch of Yew Longs and voila! Profit. So, your best best is to craft them yourself, secondly you could collect them as monster drops, and thirdly... donations.

If you've got the extra money to spend, then go ahead and get one. When you've reached your goal, you can sell it away, and hope that the price hasn't dropped any.

You should have a version of Excel that came with the computer... use that, it's the same thing, just not as snazzy and flashy.

Using steel arrows you could range them. Don't use anything under steel at your level, it takes quite some time. Just find a safespot, and stick to it.

So the high-alch of Dragon Battleaxes and Mystic Bottoms are higher than a whip? That's funny. I shoulda went along with it just to see how he did it....

So, they'd give me 4 mystic bottoms before we go out into the wild? Or while we're out there? If it was before, I'd just run off with them... and if it's after, I'd just drop 2 of them.. :twisted: What a stupid scam. Anyone else to confirm this though?

As a general rule of thumb, we'll say that the higher level the monster, the slower the respawn. So a moss giant will respawn faster than a Lesser given the same conditions.

I've had this asked of me twice. Someone would offer me a high amount of money (last time was 300k) to have a video of them killing me. Both said that they needed a video of them killing a high level with a whip to get in their clan. Both said I only need to bring one item, and they'd attack. But, it sounds a bit fishy to me... I've been in the wild and someone made me skull.. don't remember how though, as it was about a year or more ago. So, anyone hear of this? Is it a scam? How do they do it?

Yes, more people will make the respawn rate faster, but a fast respawn rate won't make more people :shock: I know what you're saying, but it'd been better to say that's inversely proportionate. Meaning, the more people, the faster the respawn rate, and the fewer people, the longer the rate.

Great experience! But if you're not using those trout and salmon, then you should cook them and sell 'em in a busy Edgeville bank (F2P) to low level pures. I personally fish lobsters... I actually use those for training and Barrows, but it is slower experience then fly-fishing.
