Cave Horrors (lvl 58 slayer) drop black masks. They can also be attained by trading with another player. I believe the price is around 400k. Black masks increase Att + Str 15% for your slayer task. They also have the ability to make your opponents defense drop. The defense dropping is based on the charges of the mask. You have (10) charges, which can take place anywhere at any time, not only on slayer tasks. Black masks can not be recharged, however even at (0) charges, the Att + Str bonus still applies. :roll:

People do it for attention. Also, "noob" means a player who lacks even common knowledge about the game that was taught say on Tutorial Isle, or doesn't properly follow the rules, conduct themselves in a positive manner, etc.. A "newb" mean to be a new player to the game. It is in no way negative, unless you are a seasoned and experienced player, lol. :roll:

The event usually starts 1 week prior to the holiday (Halloween), and ends 1 week after the holiday. My guess is that since the updates are often on Mondays, that the Halloween event will start on October 23rd, although it may start on the 24th. Those are my opinions. :)

Well.. I like pirate items, and thats what I want.. you do know children dress up as pirates on halloween right? What do you mean "Parrot?.....At halloween?" is there a special parrot day that I am unaware of, or would another holiday be more suitable? :? As for the item being tradeable.. there is no chance. It is just unfair to make any more items untradeable. It was a mistake that much was learned from. Umm.. care to explain some of these possibilities? It would make the topic much more interesting. Actually, a great piece of advice is to Anti-Virus scan your computer daily and have all of your firewalls up. I myself was not keylogged because of my own mistakes, but rather my brothers. He doesn't play RS, but he went to an unsafe site, got a keylogger, and got my account "hacked" persay. I had a tough password, which is no defense against keylogging software, but luckily my bank PIN saved the majority of my items. I had 29.7M cash in my inventory because I was buying a santa, got disconnected, and had to go to bed. Logged in on Canada Day to be short on some cash. All I can say is, life is about learning from your mistakes. Learn, live, and hopefully a game is your biggest problem to face.

Paranoia sets in... Players are currently just adapting to what is around them. Most are surrounded by a large number of scammers and conners, so they have learned not to trust anyone, which is technically something good to live by. Taking it as far as this is just plain irrational and makes you look bad. I myself give away quite a bit, and am yet to be called a scammer. Best to have a pleasant exterior when dealing with the paranoid ones. :roll:

This seems quite idiotic. Merchants obviously get items from one place to another. The price may be higher or lower. If you don't like the price, buy from someone else. Also, how can someone become stone poor? Skills are part of the game for a reason. Train a skill, then you'll see that they are useful for something. I disown this topic. Maybe look into some things before ranting on about nonsense. You should be able to tell from the majority of your replies that you did something wrong. I will leave it to you to find out exactly what it is. Trial and error. Try again later.

I had a huge write up on the Runescape Official Forums.. too bad I can't find it. :roll: I will just list some things that I think could possibly be a reward. :) Items Witches Broomstick- You are capable of sweeping, and hopping on, then off of this item. You can also wield it in the weapon slot to walk with it. Parrot for Shoulder- The parrot would sit on your shoulder in the cape slot. Some possibilities are for it to just "Squak", to say something witty, or to just sit on your shoulder unanimated. Devils Tail- The devils tail would simply be for looks. It would be red and in the leg spot. It would be attachable and detachable to a piece of clothing in the legs spot, such as rune legs, or camo pants. Devils Fork- The devils for is for looks as well. It would just be wieldable in the weapons slot, and of no significant strength. Angels Halo- An angellic halo that would take up the helmet slot. Just for looks, but has an illuminating glow coming from it. Angels Harp- Wieldable in the shield slot. This angellic harp has the ability of playing a few various tunes, that of which other players can now hear faintly. Trick-Or-Treat Bag- This bag of fun is wieldable in the shield slot, and it carried, just like the real thing. There are two options with the trick-or-treat bag. The options are "Trick" or "Treat". Trick causes the person it is induced on to befall the fate of any of 3 tricks, which include: 1) Pie to the Face 2) Bad Tasting Candy (Willy Wonkas soap gum anyone? :lol: ) 3) Undecided.. give some ideas. The treat option would cause the user induced on to recieve one of 3 items, which include: 1) Chocolate Bar 2) Candy #1 3) Candy #2 The trick and treats would be random between the 3 to mix things up, and prevent people from stocking up on chocolate bars. :wall: Emotes Sneaky- The user moves in a sneaky sort of way.. (use your imagination) Booga-Booga- The user jumps around slightly, while flailing their arms in the air, with the words "Booga-Booga" appearing. If I find the topic I made on the forums I will post all of the ideas I had on it. Hope you like the ones I remember. :) Some other possibilities are ghost-related robes, something related to the Grim Reaper, other scary and devillish things. Demonic Wings anyone? =D>

The h'ween update will be next Monday. : As for the cape update.. does it really matter? So what is Jagex is a bit behind schedule, even though they probably aren't. If they rush the promotes the chance of making mistakes and causing mass complaints by players who actually have something to complain about, rather then how long it takes for the game to be updated. I however wish I had not dropped my full camo before this new wardrobe update.. that is my only complaint. Too bad the only one I can blame is myself. :-w

I was talking to a lvl 96 today who had 21 slayer all because he was given the task of 20 bronze dragons when he was a newer player. He had no clue you could change your task, so he was quite happy to find out. :roll:

My two ways for success are: 1) Being recruited. (my friend is part of a 100+ pc clan) 2) Recruiting for a world. Just as was recently posted, Pest Control would get nerfed if lower levels weren't allowed to mingle in with the higher cb players. Just remember to keep your private chat to "Friends/Off" when jumping worlds, or you will be followed. :roll:
