  1. I walked across from the Varrock West bank to the anvils, and got my first fletching level.. and then continued to use up all the logs I had collected from the prior 2 weeks on F2P to get 70 fletching. After that I did the main quests, and got monkey madness out of the way quickly. :)
  2. I find oaks themselves are more likely to drop nests than willows. I cut 2k willows, and got 1 nest. I cut 2k oaks and got 14 nests. I then also tried with the rabbits foot, and I got seemingly more nests. I think it is entirely "random" but that the rabbits foot does help somewhat. :)
  3. I doubt most people want to put a bunch of time and money into a skill, just to look like an idiot. But.. then there are some people..
  4. Kill chickens. It is best in the Champions guild, because there is usually no competition. If not, just kill them in other locations. Big bones are ok, but I find chickens to be quite a bit faster, since on F2P Hill Giants are quite populated.
  5. Yes, fly fishing is the fastest fishing experience. Since you said you are F2P, you should fish at Barberian Village. If you don't care whether you keep the fish or not, then try to get some friends to come and collect the fish from you as it is a lot faster to trade then drop. If you ever get membership, I advise doing the Shilo Village quest as soon as you can, due to the close bank to the fly fishing areas. Happy Fishing!
  6. Rares are still plenty of fun. Once you have one, you will see. If people weren't scamming over rares, it would simply be over the next most expensive thing, and then people would complain about that. If you don't want to be scammed, be like me, and watch the second trade screen.. and don't trade in unsafe areas.
  7. I was fishing all last night during the problems, and was able to log in and all. My fishing exp went up just fine. Glad I didn't cook any of the fish.
  8. About 1 year old now. :)
  9. I missed the X-mas '06 event, but that was by choice. Other, than that, I have missed no events since I have been playing.
  10. She preys upon the inexperienced... but she prays to no one.
  11. Well... I was a pure, so I had a few rares before level 20, lol. My friend told me to make a pure as my first account, and I did just that.. but I eventually wanted to be able to wear rune, so I became I rune pure, from a mage pure.
  12. Well, just keep making those cakes then. I like the originality of the sig. :D
  13. There have been a lot of weird things.. I don't consider finding people later on as a wierd happening though. Top thing would be the amount of autoers in F2P.. now thats just scary.
  14. Its a great price. You can work for an hour at a minimum wage job, and have enough for a month of membership. It is much cheaper than most other, if not all other online games of its caliber, and there are many payment methods, making it that much more easy to get membership. :)
  15. I don't like your negative way of thinking silly little man. Also, how could you base your poll on under 50 votes? There are over 1 million players, and because 27 told you Jagex was dying you start a topic for people to flame? :| I would have to say Jagex is undoubtly getting stronger, and more keen on prospects in their business.
  16. Smithing. Empty my bank and buy 120M worth of rune bars, and then smith them.. could be somewhat profitable. :)
  17. Swordfish for pking, and anchovy pizza for training. Simple as that.
  18. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ Most people are mature, making things easy for everyone to understand. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ There is a lot of helpful information, and constant updates. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ It is very communal, and you actually feel like a part of the team. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãââ There is more than meets the eye. Yesterday when I read the beastary guide, I found out that by entering an items name you can see which monsters drop that item.. which I was totally unaware of. I had thought that you could just enter monsters names and see what they drop. I am quite glad I found this out, and it proves that having a guide on everything is helpful.
  19. The faces really don't matter to me. I would like more realistic and smooth movement, such as bending knees while running, and some better battle animations. I am not too keen on player updates, as my player is fine how it is, but I would like some more food items, and other things along the lines of cooking. If there was to be something more to add player related, I suppose it would be more accessories to wear, mostly along the lines of scarfs.
  20. - What member skills do you think will count the most in F2P? (Most benefits): Agility - What skills do you think get the most money? Runecrafting - Are pures really awesome? Yes, of course. - When is the best time to become a member? When your better than most members. - Where is your favourite place to train? Pest Control - Favourite Skill? Strength/Slayer
  21. The only use of the official forums seems to be for the marketplace, and nothing more. I try to help people on the official forums by answering questions when I can, but there seems to be less recognition of being helpful on officla forums, than there is on fan site forums.
  22. How's that for a good trade?
  23. That is 110% accurate. Then when you get members, your are automatically thought of as a long-time member, lol.
