  3. This actually happened to me once before, so I have an idea what it is like. Generally there was a problem with your payment, which is obvious. Although, what specifically caused the problem I am unsure of. Ask your parents if either of them refused to pay for the membership first off. This is a common problem, and causes the payment not to go through. You will have to pay with a Credit Card if you hope to get your account back. I had to all because of a phoneline error, but once I did everything was back to normal. You do not get black marks from this, and in no way is it an offence, simply a technical error. View the above suggestions to what may have caused it. I hope you get use of your account back shortly.
  4. Duel arena is a popular place. (P2P) A little known place which I used on my F2P pure was the rats on Level 1 of the Security Stronghold. There are a few chambers with 5-11 rats which you can cast curse on. If you do as Goobore suggested and decrease your magic bonus by as much as possible, then you could literally cast there all day non-stop. It is very effective, and not well known. Have fun casting.
  5. Answers, and further information to what compfreak847 was unsure about. Yes, I am 100% sure they are. Quests that are beneficial to beginning members include Lost City, Druidic Ritual, Family Crest, Heros Quest, Legends Quest, etc.. Later you may want to try more rewarding and harder quests. As for mini-games I suggest Barberian Assult (gives no exp), and Pest Control. Pest Control is a popular mini-game for pures, and anyone who wants to train their skills. Although, it is most enjoyable if you are with people of a rather high combat level and skill. Castle Wars is also fun, but I believe it has lost some popularity since I last played. Skills to devote time to include agility, rcing, combat stats (range/mage specifically), fletching (stock up on arrows), wcing (maples), and fishing. There are others you can try, but in my opinion the suggested are most beneficial when your membership ends. Have fun as a member, and enjoy yourself. :)
  6. There are also black unicorns North of Seers. I suggest the ones in the wildy though, just beware pkers near the teleportation areas.
  7. Fill your bank with doubles of every f2p item you plan to ever use. You can fit the majority of the items. Just be sure not to remove one on F2P, or you won't be able to put it back, unless there is another to stack it on. As for the remainder of your membership. Rc nature runes, and train agility at the Wildy Agility course. Also, dropping by the Warrior's Guild and buying some cheap str pots would be nice for F2P, seeing as str pots sell 500-1kea there. Above all, just enjoy yourself for the remainder of your membership. Sorry to hear you have to go back to F2P. Be sure to buy some "Autoer-B-Gone" spray to keep those pesky autoers at bay.
  8. Actually, fire bolt, with chaos gauntlets hits quite effectively on blue dragons, despite being non-metal. I suggest the rock cover in Taverly Dungeon for blue dragons. I believe the rock cover is located North of the agility short-cut. You will most likely find that there are already people at this spot, but you will eventually find an empty world. Also, maging dragons has a benefit of only having to click once to attack if you are under their cb level, rather than "right -click, select attack, left-click". This should give you an advantage over lower cb rangers. Good Luck. :D
  9. Well, training anything would be helpful. You seem to least need to train mining, so try training one of your lower level skills. You can also set goals for skills to help you decide what to train, and to what levels. I suggest getting 70 fletch, training your slayer, herblore, fishing, and cooking for starters. Good Luck. :)
  10. I think all randoms give 1/4 normal exp, or less.

Kingdom, Ice Warriors, Moss Giants, Cave Horrors, are all good sources of seed drops. If you are looking strictly for tree/fruit tree seeds, simply woodcut Oaks (Varrock West Bank) or Maples (Seers) for nest drops.
  12. Cave Crawlers, Hill/Moss Giants. They would be easy exp, minimal clicking, and a low amount of food used.
  13. Fire bolt with chaos gauntlets at blue dragons, banking all hides and dragon bones. My friend used that method to get to 94 mage, and is now using it to get to 99 mage. He gets a profit by collecting all the hides, bones, etc, and doing the clue scrolls dropped. I believe 70 agility is required to use the blue dragon shortcut in Taverly Dungeon, aka. Members Dungeon.

I think if you use the search button you will find a guide on making sigs. Although, quite simply you use paint, and upload the image, paste the url into the sig slot in your profile. Be sure the image if within limits. As for using another person's avatar, you would have to ask their permission first.. well at least that would be the mature thing to do.
  15. Train either mining or fishing. I suggest training mining first, then moving to fishing. Mining isn't very social, so you will be happy when you are done, and glad to fish.
  16. I agree with compfreak847. Train your strength at Ankou. You will get blood runes, death runes, law runes, addy arrows, and lvl 3 clues, to name off the good and common items. I also suggest a Salve Ammy for Ankou training, which you can get while completing the Haunted Mine quest. It would also be smart to enchant your Salve Ammy at Tarn's Lair (sp). This will increase the bonus from 15% to 20% I believe. There is no need to worry about company because there is almost always someone at Ankou. If you decide to train on Ankou, I'll see you down there, as I am getting 99 str myself. Try world 99 if you're getting lonely.
  17. Yes. July 1, 2006. Canada Day. Woke up and found 19.7M missing after being a F2P player for my whole rs career. By the end of the year I got membership, to make my money back. I don't want to get into how it happened, as I have written it before. I am sure if you search my posts, you will find out how.
  18. That was a great read. :D I would like all of those updates, aside from the cars.. that is just too technologically advanced for my liking. The boomerang teleport tablets would be great though. I can see something like that happening in the near future, and would be extatic for a great update like that. :)
  19. I let my brother use my comp for one day, only one time. The next day I logged on, missing my 19.7M. That was my unluckiest moment, as it forced me to get mems.. wrecked my pure F2P goal. :(
  20. Fighting Boots. They look good with full camo and a rubber chicken. :)
  21. I am pretty sure he means until the poison hits 2 or more times.. meaning 12+ damage. A nice guide. I haven't tried barrows yet, although I am sure I could do it.
  22. 1) Make an original name. 2) Greet people when you see them. 3) Have conversations with people. Do these three things and no one in their right mind can suspect you of autoing/macroing. What autoer can hold a conversation..
  23. There was no item.. but there was that little joke between Jagex and Bungie. That had my hopes up, then I remembered it was April Fool's Day. #-o
  24. Aww.. exactly what I was going to say. Well, what can I expect from a fellow GES'er, other than the best method. As NJE03 said, killing moss giants on Crandor is the most effective method to raising your prayer level. This is because there are 3 moss giants, near-by food supply at the Karamja docks, and you can expect less competition over the 3 moss giants that spawn there. Unlike the Crandor moss giants, the Varrock Sewer mossies are over-crowded, and only 2 respawn in a close area. The Port Sarim ice giants would be a good prayer training method, if it wasn't for the ice warriors that guard them. The hill giants in the Edgeville dungeon are a good way to train prayer, but are often crowded, meaning slower training. Seeing how your are not willing to go to the wilderness, the giants in the wildy, and the bone yard are out of the question. The chickens at the guild, and the chicken coops give too little exp for the time it takes. So unless you plan to collect feathers for a fishing goal, I suggest not to train your prayer on chickens. I hope some of this helped. Showing the reasons why certain areas are not a good place to train should help in your overall decision. Good luck on the prayer goal. :D
  25. Well, seeing how your mining level is not posted it is hard to say.. But from reading your posts I noticed you are a member. There are many more methods to make money, that are much more effective. If you are determined to make the cash by mining coal though, then I suggest posting your mining level. Either way, if you roughly get 2k coal per day you can easily have that santa hat in 1.5 months. The most coal I've ever mined in one sitting was 20k, and that was in the mining guild on F2P. I know from experience it gets boring, and seems like it will take forever, but with determination you can accomplish it. Contact me in-game if you need more help, or want to discuss other methods of making money. :)
