Well.. it all depends. If you can afford 40M in Red Chinchompas there is a method to get 80-99 range in 50 hours... PC'ing is effective if you can get fast worlds, and the stats you use the points on are at least over level 80. High alching can be faster for mage, because you can't always rely on finding a good PC world. Either get your own materials, make yew longs, and alch, or get part of the materials yourself. This will prevent money loss. Remember that a yew longbow high alchs for 768gp. Just do the calculations and help yourself not to spend over that amount on the materials you need.

Well, I suggest checking out Tip.It's Magic Guide, and looking in the Ancient Magick section to learn more about these spells. Yes, you need to have completed the Desert Treasure quest to use this set of spells. To simplify it, these spells use mainly Chaos, Death, and Blood runes. Ice Barrage, which is the spell praised by many, uses Deaths, Bloods, and Water runes. It freezes the opponent for a period of time, and inflicts damage. If the opponent is wearing melee armour, you will hit nearly every time, and by simply moving a few spaces away you can kill your opponent without ever taking damage. These spells are both effective in the Duel arena, and Pking. If you can 'easily' afford 99 magic, I suggest by all means you get it. Be sure to read the magic guide, and farmilarize yourself with the 3 sets of spells. Good luck with your goal, and good luck dueling. :)

Fly Fish at any Fly Fishing area. Cook the fished trout/salmon, and eat or drop them. It is cheap, and effective. Good luck on the quest. :)

Well, money is no problem you say? Then try it out for a month, see if you still like the idea of it at the end of the month, and go from there. There have been quite a few new features since Farming came out, so I think you could have a good time as a member once more. If not, use some of that money on one of your other hobbies, maybe it will help you to further enjoy it. :)

If you can kill your own cows, then make Hardleather Body's. If you can mine/smelt your own Silver, then make Tiaras. The mining method would be better because you can potentially get gems while mining, which you can cut and get experience from. You can further make these gems into Jewellery and get even more Crafting experience. :)

Well, you care about the cash.. go with Sharks. I am 100% sure you will catch 1k Sharks faster than 4-5k Lobster. Have fun, and enjoy the money. :)

Quite simply, you can avoid getting experience in all 4 skills, but it's an all or none deal. Also, you can complete the quest with 1 prayer quite easily. Most of my friends have done it with their pures, without getting any defence or prayer experience, keeping lvl 1.

Are you saying that in those 2 safespots, there is 100% no way to get damaged by mithril dragons? :roll:

The easiest method by far is to use the Official Runescape Forums. Just simply type in what you are searching for, and you can see the list of people who are selling/buying. The Tip.It Forums work effectively as well, but often topics aren't very new.

Use the money on your stats. You can choose which stats are the best use of your money, as it is a personal opinion. I suggest raising your combat stats though, as having 40+ defence, and no other high combat stats is kind of starting off on the wrong foot. This is coming from a Zerker Pure.

Thanks alot for the advice. I will most likely mage them, and when I mage I will take an antifire shield, and drink antifire pots as well. If anyone knows approximately how long an Antifire Potion lasts, please post the information on this topic. The thing is, my friend with 97 mage tells me that the Steel Dragons have a high resistance to magic attacks, so I suppose getting my mage up to 90 would be a good use of my time. I am currently soloing Giant Moles in Falador, and doing trips with a friend just to get the hand of killing a higher level monster. Any more advice would be much appreciated. Thanks. :)

Whip is definitely worth it. Also, it seems that you aren't really concerned with training Strength anyways, looking at your highscores. If you want to strength train just buy a dragon scitimar. Whips cost approximately 1.5-1.6M at the moment, as I bought a new one about 30 minutes ago. :) Enjoy.

Hello, I was wondering if with my current combat stats I could effectively kill Steel Dragons. My stats can be easily accessed by clicking my username to the left of this post. Just to make it simpler I will list my current combat stats. They are as follows: Attack - 71 Strength - 96 Defence - 45 Prayer - 46 Range - 74 Magic - 80 Hitpoints - 83 My combat stats will be steadily rising, but I would like to know if I can effectively kill Steel Dragons with my current stats. I would also like to know which method would be most effective; Magic, Melee, or Ranging. I can raise my attack to about 80 in a short time period. I can also raise my magic to 90 if that helps. I will most likely not be raising my prayer, which makes me believe that magic would be the most effective method to killing Steel Dragons. If it helps greatly I could possibly raise my Herblore from 60 to 69 so I can make my own Anti-Firebreath potions. If it isn't worth my time to gain these 9 Herblore levels, please state so. I am perfectly fine with buying the potions from other players. As for hitpoints, I am nearly 84, and can get 85 in a day or two, depending how much of an effect that really has on killing Steel Dragons. I could also get my strength up some more, but I feel that 3 levels won't increase the amount of damage I do by much. I am aware that attack levels would help a lot with hitting consistantly, but I am only considering getting that up to 80 in a short time period. Furthermore, I would like to know if Mystic Robes would be effective enough if maging Steel Dragons is the best method for myself. I would like to know this because I do not plan on raising my defence level at all, otherwise I would just do KQ trips with Veracs.. If maging Steel Dragons is the best method for my stats, then please state what type of spell would be best. I do not have Ancients or Lunar Magicks, so do not suggest any spells from those classes. I have chaos gauntlets if that influences the decision as to which type of spell I should use. I would like to break even, or make a profit from Steel Dragons, and thus would rather not do blast, or wave spells. If I can easily make a profit, or break even from these spells, please state so. Ranging is not my strong point, but I could make some high powered bolts to range the Steel Dragons with if it is effective, and worth the costs to make them. Melee style I would be using a Dragon weapon, so please state the most effective dragon weapon for Steel Dragons if melee is my best suited and most effective style to kill Steel Dragons. I could use a whip, but I would be lower than 80 attack using one, as I do not wish to pass that barrier for some time. If you feel that I simply can't kill Steel Dragons effectively, please state why I can not kill them, and what stats would need raising to effectively kill them. Keep in mind that I am not raising my defence level, and prayer level at all; or my attack level over 80. As I stated above I can raise my mage to 90 or so if that has a greater impact on how often I would hit. Thank you so much for your help and advice.

Stick with what you have, unless you are having trouble getting 50 zeal. If you are having trouble, try the strength boost. :)

I believe it has been said. When you are fighting then close the screen you will keep fighting. Also, when you are standing somewhere and close the screen your account will stay logged on for a little while longer. :roll:

I suggest to save for a wearable rare. They are good investments. The prices are going sideways at the moment, but I feel that they will rise once summer holidays begins. I believe this because everyone will be out of school, which will increase the amount of players. Meaning an increase in the number of players that want rares. Buy a wearable rare as soon as you can. Possibly merchant with your current 8M?
