The Updates That Forever Changed RuneScape
I believe the HD graphical update was a rather big thing. It makes Runescape look like a high quality game in comparison to it's previous graphics.

Impossible friendships achieved through runescape
I've gotta say I prefer the real life relationships. The RS ones are ok, but they're what I consider friendships. When I think of a relationship, I think of something more sexual. It's that challenge of being noticed and chance of being compatable that I prefer in a real life relationship. A good thing could end in flames in real life, but just the same it very well could not. It's actually being able to see, feel, and spend one on one time with the person that is rewarding. The friendships online are nice, but I don't even compare them to relationships in real life. The differences, in my opinion, are far too great.

Agreed. Actually, that teleport idea is really good. I personally thought it was a step backwards when they introduced the teleporting to Bounty as it was. If someone could telly with a glory, games necklace, or ring of life before I killed them, then they seemingly earned the right to teleport. It was also nice to not have to worry about teleportation so I could stick to lunar spells, and not have to worry about spellbook swap.

Brawlers ---- Now Useless.
I didn't think imp boxes worked in deep wildy, but I could be wrong. Also, doesn't that new skilling locator tool teleport you out of deep wild? Unless I misunderstood Krampell. -.-

Girls Don't Exist on Runescape
I believe it's mainly because there are a bizarrely large number of men who play on female accounts. No worries though, I had to show pics to prove I was a guy. : Personally I play games qith quite a few girls that I know (attractive ones at that). I'm not sure if you're asking to know this, but everyone else seems to be stating it, so I thought I may as well.

Brawlers ---- Now Useless.
My brawlers still work fine. Sure, there is a risk to using them now, but there should have been a risk to begin with. They are only acquired in PvP, only give a bonus in PvP, and the bonus is 50-400%. With experience handouts like that some risk should be involved. If you can't handle the risk, Sacred Clay items might be a better choice. :?

What do you do? Borrowers who can't wield.
I lend for free anyways, and often ask before lending it out.

how does new update stop 26kers?
Why are those 2 useless? the only fishing spot in wild is above 20 wild(way above..more like 40 wild)... chances of you surviving=~1% if you bank your fish. You could still powerfish there, but is that really in the spirit of the game?/sarcasm thieving were practically useless before...bad xp, and now you can't protect(50 wild + multi) But brawlers give 2x if in a PvP world and 4x if in the wild on a PvP world. So no brawlers are useless. You don't have to take the 4x xp when the 2x is much safer. I thought it was 1.5x and 4x?

Toast, from what I've heard you barely profit from it now, added in is everyone attacking you before you can find a spot to sit and raise EP. I don't midn though as taking advantage of the flawed system isn't something I took part in. I'm interested to see some real pking once I get home and can go on RS, though.

Faruq's Tools for Games 15-Jul-2009
No, lol. Then again, these things were amusing for the first 5 minutes and then I threw them away, haha. Is there a term for this? You know, when you give a child a new toy and then he loses interest in it after a few days? ADD, or a short attention span to be a bit more polite.

instead of "rickety ladder" should have said "rickety hill" makes it sound more cruel Actually, I had started something about being pushed off a cliff into an abyssmal state, but I though it might be a bit too thought out for the RSOF.

If you weren't so cute, I'd be upset with you. -.- Ah well, now it'll be interesting to see if Jagex does some further work to this, or leaves it as is. I'm having a ton of fun bumping all of the RSOF threads with people who enjoy the update, and writing this on the threads of the people who oppose it: The system was broken, and now they partially fixed it. More can still be done to prevent the pathetic method called "26king" which I suppose is now called "76king" or something to that effect. Sure, now people can only take items into the wilderness that they are willing to risk. You may not like it, but I and many other real pkers see it as a great thing. We all know the rewards are high, and that we will have to risk in order to achieve them. No more sitting in the wilderness for hours on end, pulling in 100M a week with virtually no risk. The "trickers" are on their last legs, and need to be pushed off the rickety ladder they climb; that is taking advantage of a flawed system. I can only hope that they fall hard, allowing real pkers to rise. I'm such a troll when I'm at work. :

Time to go around on the rant threads on the RSOF and say "best update of 2009".

15-Jul-2009 PVP Changes
This barely affects 26k'ers, we'll just stake 50k more per kill and enjoy the 2m+ rewards per 100EP for another month or so until Jagex try and fix it again. Lots of players are going to come to PvP and steal money from trickers now since they can snag a max trade limit in free cash every 15 minutes. Also, trickers are going actually have to be risking the 75k while sitting in the wilderness since they can no longer 4 item or protect item while skulled. Teleblock will be a pkers friend. Only thing left to fix is splashing in order to raise EP. EDIT:Double post, I thought I was editing the one I made...

Awesome. This should make the pricing on some items a lot more laughable. I just wish this did a bit more for 26k'ing.. erm 76king? I suppose it will help some since players can no longer 4-item in order to raise EP nor trade cash values to random people (unless they want to lose it). Now everyone you see in the wilderness will likely be risking. This means loot is now given to those willing to risk it. \ Awesome update.

15-Jul-2009 PVP Changes
Well, at least 1 iteming is dead. Too bad that the only drop rate nerf is the name "26king" will now be called "76king" or something to that effect for P2P players. I can just hope that the instant skulling and no item protection scares away some trickers. Better than no update.

Will nerfing 26king really stop the inflation?
I partially agree. I am waiting on the nerf to spend my money, but I would first be waiting on the quick crash the prices would likely suffer at the announcement of a nerf. So we would likely see a crash, then a high [bleep]e, then a slow fall and either even out, or multiple [bleep]es and crashes due to manipulation clans.

your getting picked on because you got d claws!!!
Might be worth turning your chat to "friends" or "off". People often whine and complain when someone else has something they want, but can not afford. Could also be likely that they've been hit hard by claws in PvP before and seeing them brings flashbacks of their losses.

Why can't adults drink?
Are you trying to speak for everybody? I've done things I may not normally do, but nothing I regret.

Abstinence
I wonder how many parents received a very, very odd request from their children after that.

Abstinence
I believe we were told that condoms were 90% effective when the right size was used, and properly. Birth control was in the high 90's and a little math lesson that 90% + 90% doesn't equal 100%, nor does condom + condom. I think that's what we were told.. it was a while ago so the percentages may be off. And what did they tell you about abstinence? :P Umm.. I wasn't listening.

Post your FIRE CAPE achievement's Or Tries "Guide Added"
same here. 138 with no fire cape. -.- :( I believe Giga never got his fire cape until after maxed total, although I could be mistaken.

So are you saying that schools should hand out condoms to kids? that they should be free in any store? not neccessarily disagreeing, just interested to hear what you say Well, actually the health nurse will give free condoms if you ask for them. She's not within the school, but her office is within the town. I'm not sure if giving them away within the school would be a wise decision as I could see many parents feeling that the school is at fault for supporting sex (albeit safe sex). I think it would be a bit too much for the public to handle, especially in a large school. The school I went to had approximately 300 kids, and the town was small, so it was nothing to take a walk to the health nurse for condoms. I'm not too sure what could be implemented in larger schools. Although, I do think we were given the option of free condoms during the Sex Ed presentation at school.
