That's where I trained on F2P. Even with low defence next to no food used, decent prayer from big bones, and mainly stackable/alchable drops. I believe there was also Adamant Ore nearby to mine for cash/xp. :thumbsup:

post any other drops you've had! Herbs, Clue Scroll (level 3) I've done over 500 kills without the amulet yet.. -.-

If a forum mod (or admin, depending on how tip.it has it set up) went pking with you, he would have access to your ip. However, I doubt TIF mods would do this, they still could. Any IRC you're in could possibly give access to your ip (including Tip.It's). If you use a BNC, like the poster did originally, then you should be fine. I'm surprised that he would use a BNC and then not see the obvious reason for them not wanting him to use it(why was he even using it then? Did his dad tell him to?)... So if you stick to tip.it forums, and don't join any "pking" forums, you should probably be safe. Thanks. I guess I'm rather safe with the forums too since my IP changes everytime I'm on the internet (dial up). I suppose the risk would be showing my IP without reconnecting the internet before going pking.

Exactly what I was thinking when I read the title of this topic. I don't really know of any "legends" as the game isn't taken that seriously by myself. I do have some good friends though, I guess they could be thought of as legends? :|

In my opinion it only seems to help me with rune item drops. I personally believe it doesn't help at all with Black Mask drops. I'm testing how well it works at Aquanites at the moment. I'd personally prefer wearing a stat boosting ring, especially an imbued ring. :thumbup:

Well, it's been over 500 kills with no luck. I was really hoping to get one just to leave it in my bank. -.- Also, for those saying mage needs an update, they just got one. Didn't you see the anti-pj update for PvP? Now everyone in the wild will be ancienting or wearing d'hide. :lol:

So can this only occur if you're doing something that allows another to see your IP? If a Pker simply only had Runescape open they would generally be safe from such an attack?

In my opinion Range Tanks are like Berzerker Pures in the way that you have to nearly max them out in order to get the most out of them. At low levels you're dealing with a lot of 1 defence pures who will either hit you hard or run once they find out you're a tank. Once you move out of their level range you'll be fighting a lot more accounts like yours along with regular accounts which weren't created with PvP in mind. I'd personally suggest: Att: - Str: - Def: 90/99 HP:90+ Range:90/99 Mage: -/85/99 Pray:1/44/90/99 Have the attack and strength under what would make you dominant in melee. You generally won't be using melee so they don't matter a whole lot, aside from training defence. Your magic won't really matter if you're F2P, unless you want teleblock or teleports. The prayer is a toss-up as there are benefits to each. The lower the level the lower your combat, but once you get to a higher level of prayer it's best just to go all the way. You could always go with 1 and then increase it if you feel it's necessary. I personally believe 44/90/99 is the way to go with a range tank. Especially if you make it a P2P account at any time, as you could easily tank Avansies or go on Armadyl trips. Just my opinions on making a range tank. :

Summer, PvP additions, cash came/coming in from "tricking", manipulation clans. There are a lot of combined variables that hit lately, which has really driven up prices. If you check out item graphs, you'll see that on most there was a huge drop when Jagex first removed item protection from PvP. You'll see how it suddenly jerks back upwards right after they added +1 worlds.

In the ZMI themed world you likely won't even need food. Just use mind or fire runes for your banking and you can even use protection prayers during the short route as there is an altar before the ladder to enter the ZMI area. You might want to wear SC Armour over Dragonhide as I believe its defensive stats are higher and it only weighs (2kg) per piece. I usually abyss runecraft in SC armour and never run out of energy. If you run low at ZMI it only takes a quick rest to replenish it.

I make 800-900k/hr there. I go and sit at the spot where 3 Cave Horrors spawn, and just let them attack me. Once they lose aggressiveness I move out of the area, and then back in. I can't really give much for directions to the spawn point. I just walk North.. I think. I also don't wear a ring of wealth while killing them. I suppose it also depends how fast you can kill the Cave Horrors. I 2-hit them, so I can kill a good number within an hour.

1. "Star Find" is the most popular clan chat for star hunting. 2. I gained an average of 50k xp/hr with SC pickaxes while mining stars. Some waves more, some waves less. It really helps when you can tag a couple stars. It is better than clicking multiple times for experience, as you only click once per layer, and another time if you hit 200 dust during the star. 3. I believe it is 10 minutes after the star lands. I do know that the star does not have to be completely mined before viewing another star, as I have had PvP stars which lasted over an hour (I checked the next landing before it was finished). If you have any other star mining questions, just let me know. I went from 80-90 mining on stars alone. :thumbup:

You begin to profit somewhere in the later 60s so it would be best to start then, I suppose. I don't believe there is a faster method of Runecrafting than ZMI, but Graahk'ing nature runes might be the next closest thing. Start now would be my advice. :thumbup:

I consider it too complex for PvP. I like the simplicity in PvP. Even now it is becoming too complicated. I'd be glad if PvP was how it was a couple months ago. Dim down the drop rates, remove teleports from Bounty Worlds, remove the ridiculous artifacts, and remove the previous PvP updates from last week. Heck, even keep the updates from last week if you liked them. They're just layering update upon update to try and fix each previous update. They should just cut the head off the beast (artifact update) rather than growing it more heads. -.-

I didn't mind it when the drops weren't untradeable items that didn't lose value and dropped very, very often. They had a good system going, but they had to go and throw some stupid update in. It created a problem, and now rather than removing that update and going back to the previous drops and drop rates, they're just laying on more and more updates. It's rather annoying, but I can't blame the players.. too much. :

Personally I've been considering getting a tattoo. I was thinking either my bicep or forearm. I would personally pay for a higher end artist, as my belief is that quality is superior to quantity. I believe that I would like a tattoo with something that would remind me of home, when I leave for college this fall (if all goes as planned). I was thinking barbed wire, but nowadays anything that you can think of can become a tattoo, so I'll take my time and probably even get a wash-away one of the design I choose first. Best to be sure about what you want before pursuing it. :
