  1. My list is actually full, and has been for over a year now, so it's not too hard to turn people down. The annoyance is when I want to add someone and don't want to have to delete a good friend. :x
  2. Until people decide to check out your other stats, see you're 30 combat levels higher with a lower total. Then you'll be mocked. I just like to train a bit of everything. The stats I enjoy get trained more. I found myself forced to train some stats higher for Stealing Creation since I love the mini-game and higher levels make it more enjoyable.

I don't think that's ever happened to me (except with maybe logs?) It's pretty cool though. Now I want to get a friend and continually attempt to mine ores at the same time and see if we can each get an ore.
  4. You can get 2 per hour on average. With some scouters or a bit of luck it could easily be 6.
  5. wind strike = 1 mind rune = 10 gp for 5.5 xp (min), 9.5 exp (max) That's 1.82 gp/xp (all fails) or 1.05 gp/xp (theoretical best, hitting all 2s). fire strike = 1 mind rune + 3 fire runes = 10+3x9 = 37 gp for 11.5 xp (min), 27.5 (max) That's 3.22 gp/xp (all fails) or 1.35 gp/xp (theoretical best, hitting all 8s). Though personally I, too, would use fire strike simply because the difference is easily affordable. Oh, I also factored in that fire strike was 2x the amount of experience when I was making that statement. That's what I meant when I said it was less gp/xp. I guess I should have thrown that in there.
  6. Seriously? I really thought I was the only one to do that :? I do that too. Always with the water on as hot as possible. Same with a razor for shaving.
  7. I have a torso. I haven't used it since Sacred Clay bodies were released. Free defence & only weighs 2kg.
  8. I'm currently fire bolting iron dragons while wearing SC Armour. I get around 100k xp/hr and within the 10k casts I used, I managed to make about 400k profit. I'm not sure how the remaining 45k casts will go, but I'm hoping for mroe of the same. If I don't get any drops I spend a decent bit of money, but the SC Armour cutting costs & time in half is quite helpful. I only need around 3.6K SC points from 95-99, and have nearly 11k so I'm quite confident this will be well worth the time. I wouldn't mind some company down there. :
  9. Torags platebody unless you want to spend around 15M for a Bandos Chest. That's about as good as it gets for melee plates.
  10. It makes being with a girl very interesting. I don't believe any song or video has reminded me of Runescape though. I haven't had RS music volume on for years, so I really don't even know what it sounds like. -.-
  11. I got the War Chief rank as soon as I could, because the game wasn't very fun, and I didn't expect people to stick around after getting the rank they wanted. It seems that is exactly the case.
  12. If you use an air staff it's only 2.3gp/xp. :
  13. I suggest penguins since Herblore is costly, and aside from quests has no use due to assisting. Last I checked Strength & Super Strength potions were the least gp/xp, but it all depends on what items are being merchanted or manipulated. If you time it right you can even profit. I'd just go with penguins though, unless you're in a huge rush for WGS.
  14. The problem is those who aren't AFK'ing. I myself have trained on the spiders with my other account while at the computer. I just do it so I don't have to click. It's actually quite cheap and got me 70 mage while I was completing my math course & chatting on Msn. The foolish thing is how many people wind strike rather than fire strike. It's even less gp/xp to fire strike and you get more xp/hr. I don't understand why people are saying it's expensive. I'd like to get the "False Report" option back for reporting. Then I could report all the tools who say I'm reported while I'm there. Despite the number of people who reported my account while I was there I've seen no action. I suppose Jagex actually checked to see if I was AFK. I'm quite impressed. EDIT: [hide=] But its 1m xp a week if you keep it running all 7 days without stopping. that's still over 3 months to get 99. and it's also costing them 5M per week, or 65M to 99. they're only screwing themselves lol [/hide] I'm confused. First you state that it's 2gp/mage xp. Then you say it's 65M to 99? 13M x 2 = 26M for 99. That's barely more expensive than most alching. It's much cheaper than the magic methods I use on this account.

[hide=] What if you catch the basically the same amount of both? That would mean you would average the same xp per load as lobsters. Basically, in the long run do you get more loads of swordfish/tuna or lobsters? [/hide] Stick with lobsters if you want more xp/hr. You rarely get more swordfish than tuna, and you don't fill your inventory fast enough to make harpooning better than caging. Happy fishing. :

You might also want a quick teleport, as an ancienter combined with lag might do you in. Be certain to make sure that the claws are the item protected, and that no other items with you protect over it. I don't think there is much else to it. I personally like taking ags & ancient runes into deep wild and finding EP gainers or trickers.
  17. As said, 64k xp. They're definitely worthwhile, even considering the time required to obtain. Cutting costs & smithing time in half is a big perk. If you want to obtain Sc Points in a shorter time period, I suggest skilling SC clans such as "sc claymates". Those games will only last 10-15 minutes because once every resource is collected the game ends within a minute. Just remember to learn the rules about the clan before joining in, to prevent being banned from it. I imagine the RSOF has a thread for "sc claymates".
  18. I just bought all of the abilities/items/blocked monsters, and then collected some points. I haven't slayed in exactly 12 months, but I may go back to it. if so, I plan to just buy the runes. The experience reward isn;t worthwhile, whereas the runes are profitable, and could help fuel training to 99 magic. :

I don't. I just hate idiots. It seems that isn't particular to any type of account, though.
  20. A high level prayer update of use might annoy me. I've left a free 99 pray on the ground, and don't care to play enough to collect for whatever high level prayer comes. It would be a tossup as to whether or not it would be worthwhile.
  21. I'm not going to clear my cache.

Still throwing around the idea of college this year. If I do decide to go, classes start September 7th. My current job at this provincial park ends September 10th, but I've banked enough days to take off just in case. It's really a toss up because I can save a few thousand dollars if I wait one more year, as I am in a particular government program. With every $1000 I put in they put in $500. The longer I wait, the more I save, but I don't want to wait too long. I'm still making money while I wait to add on top of that. Also, since I'm of Metis descent I can potentially have all of my schooling, room & board paid for by the federation. They're having a meeting to decide which people they will choose out of the many, many applicants. If I was chosen then I would definitely wait a year, if need be, to save a hell of a lot of money. I'd be excited to go back to school again. It'd be like a vacation, as I would finally be choosing what I want to learn, and enjoying every minute of it
  23. A good read.
  24. You will also benefit from a combat skill to 99 more than you would from the examples of cooking, fletching, and firemaking. I suggest range. Multi-purpose, powerful, cheap, and in my opinion enjoyable.
  25. It looks nice. I'm not sure how you can respect someone for playing a game, as I don't give respect based on stats, cash or anything like that. I suppose it's less common too see than cooking, fletching, and firemaking. I suppose it would make it less "noobish" than those capes; if your definition of "noobish" is a common; cheap; easy cape.
