  1. Only if you bring a familiar with you. :ugeek: And you can still use them for training. Combat familiars speed up your combat training. Well, how would summoning be useful to you in multicombat situations if you didn't bring the familar....?
  2. Personal preference. Many train it, some consider it training wheels for Runescape. Also, others might like to be a low combat level with their nice stats, some might want to be +12 combat levels to make people think they aren't pures; only to kill them in PvP. It's simply personal preference as with many, many things in Runescape. I wanted to add, in those multicombat situations you mentioned, the summoning levels would add to your overall combat level in PvP. :
  3. A good rate for profit. I imagine this is calculated without Stealing Creation robes, meaning around 100k experience per hour, provided they are a viable choice for Avansies.
  4. I believe he wants to continue wearing them. He's just looking for a quick way to switch the F2P items of his attire into his bank. He was just worried that they would go into his inventory, and then be stuck there until he resubscribes for membership.
  5. As said it is both manipulation clans and the abuse of 26/76k tricking. The summer rush is also a partial reason, but not a large factor. We'll see just how big of a factor it was when everyone heads back to school. I'm especially glad that I collected a ton of resources before any of this inflation. It saved having to pay for any skilling.
  6. Are you willing to powermine granite/iron/star hunt for the mining experience? If so then I suggest choosing one of those. As for the smithing, buying bars and smithing would be the fastest, but most costly. Buying ores, smelting into bars and selling would be slow & profitable. Buying steel bars, smelting into cannonballs and selling would be slow & profitable. If you're not willing to expand then go with A/B/C. Be aware that it is even cheaper to buy Adamantite bars, smelt into platebodies and resell than it is to simple smelt gold ore. It is also faster. (based on SC hammers)
  7. 13034431 - 1475581 = 11558850 experience left 11558850/40000 (guess at monkfish xp/hr) = 289 hours, not including banking. At 3 hours of solid fishing daily this would take you over 3 months. Sharks.. you don't want to even think about that. You're better off powerfishing to 99, and then catching sharks after if it's profit that you're looking for.
  8. It would attempt it. If there was no bankspace then you would continue to wear these items.
  9. Buy the cheaper of the two. You won't be using it for melee, so the strength bonus means nothing.
  10. Iron knives are minimal loss, I believe. Use Stealing Creation hammers to cut the cost/time in half.
  11. The pets have little use, but I trained mine for an abyssal minion pet (goal is to bank 96 before using). I can't say it's given any negative effect. The abyssal is a positive though, it makes me content. :
  12. 1. Manipulation Clans 2. "Trickers" 3. Lack of High Level Content 4. Lack of Clan Support 5. Limited Friend List Room That's just my personal problems. Not speaking for all of Runescapes players.
  13. Well, one of those things I do. It makes me think of it all getting stuck in my arteries. I also think about the grease being cooled and hardening in my arteries when I drink something cold after eating something unhealthy. Regardless, I rarely have a hot beverage with a meal. I usually drink them on their own.
  14. That is a good idea. If you have not done ME and do not feel like it, try taking a spirit wolf to the hobgoblin mine and use its scroll with the revenants I believe you only need to start the quest for the crystals as well. Just to throw that out there.
  15. One thing to realize is that partyhats will likely end up like 3rd age, in the sense of the flop that occurred. Eventually the prices will stop rising as all of the merchants will either have and not want to sell on the GE, or trades will simply occur only in player trade in order to trade rising items & junk. Most will be satisfied with the player trading for a while, but then one of the major holders may decide to sellout, causing a panic/price fall. They will then likely flop like 3rd age, only to be bought up again later (similar to how 3rd age currently is). Although it would be more successful than attempts to buy 3rd age now, due to the smaller numbers. This is merely my opinion. If you disagree don't flame me over it.
  16. My god did that Niles picture ever make me laugh. Some great pictures in that collection. Thanks a lot for posting it.

Christ, how many times are we going to hear this? I swear it's more annoying hearing people tell others to do it while they can because they won't be able to when they get older. Yes, we understand most people get lazy when they are older, their metabolism decreases, they lose will to exercise & be active, and they become fat. It's no different than understanding that teenagers are active, have a higher metabolism and will not gain weight as easily. People will either change their ways and potentially not gain weight, or stick to their ways and likely gain weight.
  19. Wait.. those aren't the important things?
  20. [hide=SirTommy2005] [/hide] Nice clue reward. Have your 3a items been rising nicely since you bought them?
  21. They should be priced higher given their rarity. They are just being hoarded at the moment though. Everyone who owns one doesn't want one because it's a partyhat. Give all partyhat owners the option of keeping their partyhat and making it untradeable or selling it for the current minimum GE price and I assure you the majority of owners would sell. This is all due to 3a flopping. However, rares are a better target for the merchants, as they won't be slowly trickling in due to clues, and new potential for demand is always present. I guess I should have kept the white phat I bought a while back.
  22. I agree that you can become addicted. As with anything moderation is key. I don't have much else to add, it's a rather basic statement this fellow made.

RuneWiki (Same source) It seems they also state each piece lasts for 20,000 experience. I've used a lot of SC Armour, but I've never actually looked at how much experience I gained. I just always thought this information was correct. If anyone can confirm either of these rates it would be greatly appreciated. Also, each piece is the same, so for the mage hat the same rules would apply.
  24. If you plan on continuing as a "pure" I highly suggest against this advice.
  25. Where you are mining is generally one of the best spots. I can also suggest the Chasm Mines (North of Al Kaharid) and the Dwarven Mines (entrance East of Falador; within the city). You could try PvP or Bounty +1 worlds, but I imagine that you will find pkers to be more of a nuisance than revenants. Stick with what you're doing if you can handle the annoyances.
