  1. You can search it on the RSOF and find a nice guide on their topic. Generally when I played it was 4 players in that mode with the castle. There were 4 teams; the teams that weren't Blue would attack the south-west corner of the castle in the castle scenario (forget the name). The Blue team would use a catapult, as the blue team always got to win the game. Then at the 26 minute mark, everyone would fire cannons at the other 3 teams who would be stacked on eachother in that corner. This would both satisfy the minimum time limit for the game, and give a winning team. The rules may have changed, so it'd be best to check the thread.
  2. Is this account a member or F2P? I'd like to know which before calculating GP/Xp rates and whatnot.
  3. Yep. Too bad they threw that cap on. I suggest finding some movies to watch or something else to spend time on while playing "Fast Ma". Stay at your keyboard though. :
  4. [hide=Quote Chain] You know whats funny though? im sure they would get interviews, a trip to jagax headquarters, and ALOT of recognition for such an accomplishment. The world would know more of them then they ever would of you. So who would the loser be? I would rather be the person who hasnt spent 'X' amount of thousands of hours playing an online game to achive god like status amongst all the Runescape community who would still think he is a no-life, loser, nerd ect... I think its funny how most of you think someone who plays ALOT has no life. I use to have a great job that paied well and allowed me to play runescape at work. I could put in like 70 hours a week and not have it affect my after work life. So in reality i was a runescape star and had a life. Also some people are trapped in wheelchairs and hospitals, all they can do is play games online. Would you call them nolifers? It seems to me that when anyone makes alot of progress in this game everyone is quick to bash them. I hate all the haters. Die in a fire. [/hide] I agree with you, but I would have to say 200M experience in all skills is bound to effect ones life in a negative way. I suppose the disabled player statement makes sense, but I think I would try to find a better game or continue living my old life to the best of my ability.
  5. The guards one was funny. I want to see the other one, though. Also, it's funny to see all the foot fetish material under the "related videos" section. \
  6. My rule is I'll give out clay/items to friends, but for anyone else I'll only make the item if they supply the clay. If they don't have clay I make the item they want and deposit it. Also, it takes at the most 2 minutes to get from a class 1 to 5 tool when you do it yourself; not 5. I generally play combat SC with my SC clans, so they're all generally friends. I definitely help those people out so we can dominate the game. I don't really give out clay in skilling only games such as "Fast Sc". When I play a skilling only game it's to play with a friend, so I don't mind the game lasting a bit longer because I wouldn't give handouts to everyone. They're skillers and are begging me for clay? Come on. Nope, those people have to get their own or wait for me to deposit tools. I used to give out clay left, right and center, but so few people gave me a clay in return to compensate that I've generally stopped. If I can't seem to get a clay, and have to ask for one, then I am sure to give at least 5 clay in return and make them some C5 items if they can make use of them. May as well make it worth their while for saving me time.
  7. No one can have that kind of time on their hands and not think of a different use for it.
  8. Yep, that is viable.
  9. Well, I actually looked him up on the highscores. I'd suggest against him going straight for 99 defence with his attack & strength being lower, unless he plans on never training them again. If he eventually wants all of his melee stats to 99, he'll find that once attack & strength are 90+ he can speed right through defence, and even pass them at that stage. If he doesn't plan on training his attack & strength, then I'll have to suggest fishing. Defence would be faster, to answer your question. :
  10. It's funny, two of your top 3 I've seen posted as people's favourites on other sites. Although, I hadn't seen Excl's. I personally think it was better than the other two because it made me laugh, and was quite original. Post some more of your favourites please. \
  11. I'm not sure if it really matters if you KO them, as you are simply training, and this would just relieve you of some extra clicking. I've only gone to these monkeys a couple times because I feel they are horrible for training unless you're using Dharoks. You'd be better off killing a monster with lower defence, especially with stats in the lower 60's range. You could try experiments, or rock crabs (I haven't trained at either, though). I believe their low defence, low attack, and high hitpoints is a plus for training. I personally trained on slayer tasks, moss giants, and d-hallied fire giants for my melee experience as a Zerker pure. Giants are nice since they give generous drops, and have low defence levels. I suggest against going hand-to-hand against a fire giant at your level, though. You'd be best to stick with the moss giants under Edgeville, provided you can make use of the shortcut. You'll find that most of their drops either stack or can be high alched for a profit. Slayer might be more suitable once you get the feel of your pure, have some practice at prayer flashing, and have higher combat stats. You could try it now, but I feel that you'll get quite annoyed with some of the tasks if you start out too early. I'd be happy to help you further along with your Berzerker, pure as I have some personal experience with them. I don't believe there is room on my friends list, but you can find me in "Lady_Heinous" clan chat when I am online. Although, I may not be online tonight, I have some plans. The other people there should be more than glad to help you. Hope I was of some help.
  12. If I'm skilling or in combat, as I usually am when I need to house teleport, an air staff would take up an extra inventory space. I find it is most effective to have as many inventory slots for my activity as possible.
  13. Simply use them in a +1 world with some armour, melee protect, and a teleport. You likely don't be attacked to begin with, but the melee protect & armour should even further thwart them. The teleport is if an ancient attacks, and you can't seem to take 1 step into the safezone. Generally, any brawlers that can be used in +1 worlds, should be. :
  14. Dusts have been cheaper than earth runes for a long time now. Recently they increased in price and are only 1gp less. When you need the air rune as well, they are significantly cheaper. I have a rather large stockpile which I use for house teleports.
  15. These are the current costs of plank-make. These will increase once planks are dumped and crash in worth. Oak - 3gp/xp Teak - 2gp/xp Mahogany - 1gp/xp With the current experience rates this is definitely the best way to train magic. The setback is that once planks crash it will be one of the worst ways. It all depends whether or not you wish to take the gamble for some fast & cheap magic xp. :
  16. In my opinion F2P Bounty Hunter is among the best cash/hr. Aside from that you're looking at Cockroaches, Hill Giants, Yews, Runite, and GOP. It all comes down to what you enjoy the most. :

I thought that died around the same time animal masks did?
  18. That is because of merchant clans. Goldmerch, I believe. My friend has about 100 of them. They want to get them to 25-30k. Meaning they might hit 20k.

Working at the park. Hauled 3 cord of wood & am currently awaiting to issue some permits until 9:00pm. Been texting like a madman, inviting people to a friends going-away party at the bar tomorrow night. Appropriately I took a late shift for Sunday. I guess once I get home I'll eat, maybe log into Runescape, then get some sleep (early shift tomorrow). I've neglected to post on this thread for quite some time now. Seems I only dare post on boring days, and not those which are interesting. Usually whoever was in Forsakenmage's chat got the just of my day.
  20. I personally like to train them. Some aren't as entertaining as others, but for the most part it's fun for myself. If it wasn't fun I couldn't see myself training, although I imagine that is everyones viewpoint. If you like training the skills, then by all means, train them. If you consider it to be useless and would rather not spend your time training them, then don't. They might not have many current uses, but it can be worthwhile to be prepared for the future. If we get a farming update that requires 90 farming in order to farm a herb that makes potions which restore prayer and boost all of our combat stats, then you can expect seed prices to sky-rocket as everyone attempts to achieve this goal. It's an unrealistic situation, but hopefully you get my point. :
  21. Why read the Wiki when you can ask us fine blokes? I guess you learned the difference, the hard way. Although the Wiki can be very helpful, the fact that anyone can edit the information makes it questionable at the best of times.
  22. If you can afford a SS, then generally you should have no problem making any value that it drops before reselling. If you have a problem with the potential price fall, then wait a bit before buying. If it really bothers you, and you want to start strength training as soon as possible, then just use a dragon scimitar & rune defender, with a DDS or other worthy weapon to spec with. You will notice little difference.
  23. I don't consider it too likely, as money is easier to make than it was 6 months ago. Lower levels are constantly able to buy godswords, and a good number of people who went to godwars for cash (sending bandos items into the market) now go to PvP and reap statuettes which turn instantly into pure cash. It seems the "recession" as many called it is over. Although, a couple updates could change many things. Your guess is as good as mine.
  24. Is that buying ores smelting then smithing.... or buying bars and smithing .... or have the ores/bars banked? It's buying the bars at medium GE price and selling the iron knives at medium GE price. I think it would be a bit insane to smelt ores into bars, so I rarely include that in smithing replies, unless otherwise stated. :
  25. Definitely. You can always obtain a rank. There aren't even 1 million people ranked yet. I believe the ranking starts at either 250 or 500, though. You will need at least that many kills to be put into the highscores. The Bounty ranks will have to be target kills, whereas the Rogue ranks could be killing anyone. Have fun getting a rank. :
