  1. Real world item trading. Trading requires two or more parties, meaning you can get banned for both the buying and selling of Real world items vs. Runescape items. Ohh, and don't think that they won't catch you. They will. :shame:
  2. Just a mixture of the Duel Arena Update, anticipation of the GE, and a small group of price manipulators. All of this control the market, mainly the rares. My plan is stock up, wait, and watch the profits roll in. :
  3. Avansies are undoublty more profitable, unless the GE has poorly set prices for Adamant bars... I believe there are some good Avansie killing guides in the Archive of Wisdom. Be sure to check them out before you go training. :
  4. I will check the prices for you when I get home in 5-6 hours. They are most likely within 5% of the average forum price, but I am hoping they are within 5% of the price we saw before the Duel Arena update, which along with a group of price manipulators, dropped them drastically.
  5. That would be such a disaster to the economy, and to Jagex memberlist. I am sure that they are smarter than to do something that drastic, and near-sighted.
  6. I believe they ban without thought now. My friend was muted for supposed profanity, he appealed and had it removed within minutes, with no black marks. This happened just last night. :-s
  7. Banked axe handles were removed. I had some banked on my skiller.
  8. It is perfectly reasonable in my mind that they stay the way they are. If you want one, save up for it. You can even call it a goal if you like, and having one would actually be an achievement. There aren't a whole lot of items within this game that are achievements to have, and it is nice to have a few to keep players, playing. Also, the people who got them at the drops, and refuse to sell, simply keep them to show how long they have been playing, which is perfectly reasonable. If you had an item worth millions, would you want random whining kids trying to get the prices to drop just so they could have one? Especially if you were a player who worked hard to make the cash to buy one for their worth at 20-300M+ I know that I would be really annoyed to lose all that time and money over some whiners. *Gahh why was this old thread brought up from the depths?*
  9. Usually Monday. The past one or two have been Tuesday. About the thread. I believe I would quit if trading, and dropping were no longer effective.
  10. Yes, I hope they use some of the ideas. It would definitely satisfy a majority of the upset players, and hopefully restore some order to the RSOF. The nearly 4K page, almost 40k post rant topic on the update is in shambles.
  11. You read very quickly. Thanks for the comment. :
  12. I hope I wrote this in the appropriate forum.. I rarely leave Help & Advice, and am scared of this big world. :anxious: Here is a compilation I made of Duel Arena suggestions, which I posted on the RSOF recently. It also includes the quick-find code, and page posted on. Quick-Find Code 27-28-630-54011496 Page: 3677 Duel Arena Modifications Hello, I have noticed the tens of thousands of rants about the new Duel Arena update, and would like to do my part in solving the problem. I recently read over all of the suggestions for a fix to the update, and would like to generally put all of the good ideas into what could be a great update. Here are some of the ideas compiled: General Dueling There would be a minimum requirement of 50 combat to enter the duel arena, or at least a staking portion or the arena. A player can only duel someone within a certain range of their combat level, using a simple formula that a fellow Runescape player developed. L x 0.2 = D L = Combat Level D = Difference ie. 3 x 0.2 = 0.6 (round to 1) meaning a lvl 3 could duel a lvl 3 or lvl 4 player. ie. 126 x 0.2 = 25.2 (round to 25) meaning a lvl 126 could fight anyone 101-126 combat. This seems quite fair, because it allows higher combats to fight a wider range of players, and higher combat players would most likely not risk their accounts to RWT. Note: The value in the equation ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Å0.2̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

    My defence is 45. :
  14. I can't see your stats on this computer, but I'll write down a few various spots to train. - Fire Giants with D-Hally. - Mossies with D-Scim/Whip. - Slayer with a Black Mask and appropriate weapon. - Ankou with a Salve (e) Amulet and appropriate weapon. - Giant Spiders with Whip, D-Scim, etc.. - Bandits with Guthans. - Ape Atoll Monkey Guards with Dharoks (by prayer altar). There are a few ideas. Sorry I can't see your stats to narrow it down, nor have the time to go into detail about the monsters. Almost time for my next class.
  15. If we are playing this silly game you could go.. 99 Fishing supplies you to get 99 cooking, which supplies the food for most combat stats to 99.. Then their drops may supply even more 99s, which supply more.. Between Fishing, Woodcutting, Fletching, and Strength I would suggest Woodcutting. Strength will probably take the longest because you will want to train other stats to keep your melee respectibally effective (attack, defence, etc..) If you do not have the supplies, do not bother with fishing or fletching as starter skills until you get some money/supplies. It would probably be best to choose 2-3 skills to train though, as you may very well get bored. :

A few days if you play 1-3 hours daily, and train effectively.
  17. 1) Cooking 2) Fletching 3) Thieving 4) Firemaking 5) Hunter Those might be the 5 easiest considering cost and time spent. Hunter if probably the slowest of the 5, but costs the least, and pulls in the most profit.
  18. Monkey Madness is quite easy at 70 combat or higher. It might be difficult without a quest guide, but with one, it is just the time it takes that may annoy you. The Dragon Scitimar is well worth the trouble, as it is one of the most effective strength training weapons in the game. There are better, but they don't even compare with the price.
  19. I'd suggest Fire Giants or Dust Devils. I never find neither are ever crowded, they both give good drops, and both have tons of safespots. The fire giants may be faster xp, but the odd time 1 or 2 people come, which may slow you down, although it probably won't. If you can fishing guild bank, I would definitely suggest Fire Giants. I am camping there until 95+ range. :
  20. Did you actually go into the tomb to try and get another? I had lost my first one, and by re-doing the Waterfall quest from that point was able to get a few more.
  21. Sure is bannable. :shame:
  22. I believe you do need to complete the books to get the bonuses. If you are safespotting definitely use a Unholy Zamorak book. If you aren't safespotting, a Guthix book might be a better option. The Zamorak gives +8 to all offensive bonuses and no defensive. The Guthis gives +4 to all offensive bonuses and +4 to all defensive.

Train your stats to what you think would be most enjoyable. To myself, 45 defence with high offensive stats is enjoyable. :
