  1. You get half slayer xp that way. Velds in the blood dungeon are definately wtfawesome and worth it. I just kill the normal ones 1-2 at a time with a geyser in karils and sgs usually covers the little damage that they do. I personally don't use cannons, but if you're worried about spending money then you probably shouldnt either. Might want to take a mud staff and nats for b2p if you notice a lot of damage(also for alchs since they drop a helluvalot of fires). You only get half exp if someone else comes along and attacks it or if a monster gets the last hit. I noticed I had a veld task one time while I was waitin for someone to get kc and I started killing bloodvelds thatw ere fighting other things. I saw them spawn, attack a hobgoblin, and die(from me) and I was only getting like 70ish xp or something like that.

I don't bother much with pvp but I read the updates and don't recall seeing hem say that your potential does not carry over, so I would assume that it does. BH seems more for just killing rather than training to gain potential since so many areas(even the agility arena, so no agility brawlers) are blocked off.

  4. Oh yes, thats so true... I think i should be brinign my holy wrench with me. Thanks for explaining to me. And aslo, thanks to the author of the thread to enlighten me of that you get free 30 low alchemy per day from the ring >.<. My item of choice is the holy Wrench. ~Bomb~ Actually, if you're over level 50 prayer the wrench boosts the prayer restore by +2, not +1. So for every prayer potion you're saving +8 prayer points. If one potion sip at level 99 without the wrench restores me 31 points, then it will mean every 4 potions I drink I will save 1 potion dose. So for every 16 prayer potions, you will save 1 potions, or (at the moment) roughly around 10,000 gp. If you're like me, and go through 100+ pots in a week, then you'll probably save like 40-50k a week in prayer potions. I'm pretty sure that the second bonus point comes at level 76(which is why I personally have 76).
  5. I wonder if Sean Connery will make a cameo in this quest...
  6. 20 Defense over a DFS is most likely not enough to make the shield seem necessary to...anyone, and based on the released stats of the creature anyhting over a defender probably will not be needed.
  7. I go camp at piscatoris murdering monkfish while I browse the tip.it forums. Like I'm doing now.
  8. Maybe my knowledge of yellow evrsion is a bit outdated, but I don't rmemeber any health bars in pokeman games...other than the numbered ones thatw ere like black and white and completely dissimilar to the ones we have now... I have a sneaking suspicion that a large number of runescape players are secretly trying to assimilate the game into pokeman :-k or maybe not...
  9. You attach the sail to the periscope of course. Noobs these days...
  10. Noes. Lootshare is better in the long run, if you go with a lot of different teams. That depends on who is in the other teams, and desertion is VERY common in rsof ls teams.
  11. Sara is much mroe consistant and reliable. Also ther eis less risk and you can get more kills in. I would suggest using CS instead, however.
  12. Does that mean that there is a visible difference between hitting 0 and missing now? If so =D> Doesn't really matter much, but I always wanted that little update. EDIT: Also, SPAM FILTER WOOT!!! I was waiting for them to add tab features to the game tab for ages, but this should work just as well. There was nothing really exceptional this update, but I'd like to see what people think up to complain about...
  13. The main use is for at GWD or something when you have a filled BOB about to run out. Now you don't have to put things into the new one one by one while some fat [wagon] bird is throwing tornados at you.
  14. Playing with a bunch of people slows you down in the long run, because the doors reset every tiem that someone starts the game. So if someone comes in while your checking doors, you may have to recheck doors that you've already opened which could lead to violent explosions of anger.
  15. No, excali heals 20 hp/5 minutes. SGS heals between 0 and 60ish hp/5 minutes with 20 hp as a base(unless you miss and not just hit 0).
  16. Sgs is better aside from being 2 handed. The excalibur is great for ranging, though. I use it at arma now(that's almost 4 free brews every hour). Excali is a decent alternative if you don't want to spend the money, though.

Best xp would be the willows outside the fishing guild. There's like a kagillion(literally one kagillion, I counted) trees there, and noone cuts them. That's what I use my reward on. I don't really put much worth in profit from wc...so I wouldn't know anything about that.
  18. For what it matters, my personal favorite task at 50k under 89 slayer is dust devils and I think that those require 60 or so.
  19. Why would you expect a level 95 update soon? Honestly the only 90+ updates in recent memory were the inferno adze and smithing dragon plates... It would be out of character for them to cater to a select few as oppsoed to the majority and expecting anything else shows a lack of himdsight and common sense. The only updates at all that I can think of outside of the relasing of skills that broke over level 90 would be...the adze, dragon plates...lunar and ancient spells if you don't consider those to be seperate skillsets...sigil smithing...plunder...dragon arrows/darts...did I miss any?
  20. I remember checking a while ago and seeing that it was profitable with one type of log...I think it was teaks, but I'm not sure and prices have probably changed.
  21. It looks a hell lot like a Lanturn. Exactly what I thought. Yay wrestling On topic, it honestly does not look like that pokeman. The only similarity is the light appendage thing, and that is obviously a referrence to those deep sea ugly-as-hell fish which that pokeman is also a referrence to. I'm just a bit disappointed that everyone automatically associates a glowing appendage-thing with pokeman as opposed to angler fish or [bleep]eytoothwtfisthat fish or whatever they're called.
  22. Oh wah quit your belly achin. 78 Is generally high for any skill to most people. Maybe a higher requirement monster will be released soon. Most liekly, one won't. So quit crying about it. Anyways, i hope this drops a dragon pick  and maybe for some random reason they will add basilisks and kurasks to duradel(or false duradel afetr the quest)'s task list.
  23. Besides stoels for when you need that ectra bit of prayer :D Not really much to add...just don't like absolute statements liek that. That +5 prayer for a stole gets rid of the +10 attack bonuses and +8 str bonus from the fury. As being able to kill faster makes the difference of prayer kind of futile. That is unless prayer is the limiting factor such as at say...Arma or Dks.
  24. 1. using melee prayer from close means they cant hit you with melee but can with range so you will be hit by range, when ranging from distance they cant hit with melee and when using protect from ranged also not with ranged 2. yes 3. idk Have you killed a Mithril dragon? They do NOT use their range attack if you are right beside them. They only use melee, dragon fire and magic. 3. If you don't know this how do you know 1. -_- Mithrils melees/ranges about 50% of the time, and mages/dragon fires 25% each. Thank you, based on that it makes no difference whatsoever. I was asking because I had tried a trip at melee range as opposed to distanced to avoid running up when I swapped to excalibur while still having auto retaliate on, and I noticed that i was taking a lot more damage. I'll just count that as bad luck then, I suppose. What forum did I originally post in?
  25. I was just wondering whether it would be better to use melee protection(up close) or range protection(from afar) agaisnt mith dragons while ranging. All of the protection prayers drain prayer at the same rate, correct? Do the dragons use their mage attack mroe while in melee range or at a distance? or is it the same?
