Guess what? There's some real negative aspects to this update, but people complained about RWT, autoers, and farmers for years. The entire concept of each of them is the ability to move a large amount of something from one account to another with little to no compensation. It sucks the game had to change but unfortunately a good chunk of people stopped playing the game as it was for fun and started playing for profit, which in turn just makes it less fun for everyone else. Not going to say I'm happy about the changes, but I definitely think they're going to solve the main issues in RS.

for one thing, merchanting existed before the ge, and when it did you didn't buy something for the lowest price you could, then immediately sell it off for the highest price. And unless I'm missing something, there's no reason you can't still merchant like you did the entire time there was no ge. all the ge is built for is people like me who get tired of having things to sell but not wanting to stand around trying to sell them. It's not built to give people wealth, just a little convenience.

In shilo (unless you're looking from some profit from it) the absolute best way is to catch a load and sell it to the fish shop, then buy back feathers with that money. almost every time you get back more feathers than you used, so you don't need to gather up many at all. Technically you only need 27 feathers to start power training in shilo. But if you want any kind of money (or savings from not having to buy food in the future) and very decent exp you need to hit the monks. Monks are fast as (if not faster than) lobs, and give more fishing exp than sharks.

I don't know about any other things the ge has really affected, but because of my recently trying to get up to 55 prayer I invested a good 1.4m in ranarrs and a few days before ge and have just watched as the pots that were supposed to make me a little change are actually ending up costing me even more. At first it was only a .1-.2 difference, but now I'm having trouble getting them off my hands for as low as 6.5k ea and people are underselling me as low as 6k ea! I guess I was just wondering if anyone here had a decent guess as to whether I should follow the trend and get them off even cheaper because they're still going to keep dropping, or if they'll eventually come back up to at least close to 7k ea. I'd hate to see 200k disappear, but that's just my luck. *edit* Kinda doesn't matter now because I finally got them all off for 6.5, but I'm still curious if anyone thinks we'll be looking at 5k ea Prayer Pots this time next week or what.

I don't think the triple post is really necessary...but the one thing I don't like about that is you won't be able to give people little items for skills or quests, or give friends weapons or anything like that.

Exactly what I was thinking on the all tab. It's as easy as that, people. Though I don't exactly know how easy that would be (script-wise) And the search thing would be pretty cool.

I can't understand why people can't accept that it's random. It'd probably (I say probably because I know jack about runescript) take more work to program every spawn for every monster to keep track of how many have spawned so it can "release" the item than to just give the monster itself (meaning that monster "code" for every monster, regardless of spawn point) a 1/3000 chance of dropping it. Not only that, but if there really were some sort of "formula" to the game, it'd entirely remove the point in hunting for items. In other words, someone could go out and start kill wyyverns knowing that every kill is bringing them closer to the drop, instead of crossing their fingers every time. And eventually people would start camping and counting to get that last kill, which would just take the fun out of rare drops all together. Think of it like this. There's 3,000 upside-down cups, one of which has a rubber ball in it, you get to choose ONE CUP and hope for the ball. That cup doesn't get removed if it's not the right one, but the ball is moved to a different cup when you aren't looking and you try again. Chances are very, very, very good that you won't get that ball any time soon.

That or a gnomeball :lol: lol can u throw gnome ball at autoers head? 1. IP bans don't do jack, It's not that hard at all to change your ip and just make a new account. 2. When you throw a gnome ball at someone they can't do any actions that require hands (i.e. mine or wc) until it's tossed to someone else, and since that's not usually programmed into them they tend to just stand there until the owner checks up on them.

I had the same "issue" a while ago and messaged them and they said that you get the first day free so you get the most out of it being a new member. I think by the "first day" they mean a literal free 24 hours, so you can log on for 6 hours for 4 days before it goes down. I'm guessing on that last part, but my credit didn't go down for almost a week and it only went down by one so that sounds right to me.

It's just another update that no one should hate (but do anyway) and they'll be used to and forget complaining about in a month. How many people are still getting used to the new side bar layout? What new sidebar layout you say? Exactly.

The only ting more annoying than people making multiple threads about this is people posting screenies that have been posted multiple times in the same thread like they're the first ones to do so. But that's just me.

You know what really gets at me? I mean REALLY gets at me. Is when kids mine a rock before you or get the drop from a monster and brag about it like it took some kind of talent when all they did was click once and get lucky.
