What movie(s) did you last see?
Dare I say the third one was....good. The second did the job I'd say...But the first...It was pretty good at points, but also there was just some badness...The whole Tatooine rod-racer thing was rather pointless and uninteresting, other than that it freed them...Which added to plot but was otherwise a big waste of time.

I'm not dissing him...He was the awesomeness in Jingle All the Way...But I would say that...Well Lucas made some serious mistakes in general with that movie so...

What movie(s) did you last see?
Yeah, the acting was pretty decent in Ep 2, but you have to admit that Hayden Christensen was highly more acceptable than that kid in the first. I noticed that Natalie Portman's acting skills got significantly better as the trilogy went on, and by Episode 3 she was at least decent and fitting. Episode one as Queen Amidala was a near travesty. And Ewan McGregor was quite good through the trilogy, and Samual L. Jackson was pretty good too. I'm watching Traffic this week.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Katie Holmes was mad no name until she started going out with Tom Cruise...Not to mention she was absolutely horrible in that movie...She is a horrible actress. She was horrible in Batman Begins? I thought she was doing pretty good. And what does her fame have to do with it? She did a pretty good preformance in "go". And have you heard from her other movies, Teaching Mrs. Tingle, The Gift, and Wonder Boys? All pretty decent movies. And all those movies, INCLUDING Batman Begins are made before she went with Tom Cruise. So don't give me crap. She's not a horrible actress, she's a pretty decent actress. I was refering to the fact that she was far from "all star" before Tom Cruise...Which is all anyone talks about about her anyway now. I've seen some of The Gift, and a few episodes of Dawson's Creek (painfully) and of course Batman Begins. And it all the time seemed like she was reading off of a telepromter while she 'acted'. It was not a believable performance at all. And rumor has it they are replacing her with a stronger actress for the sequel. Rumor has it...

What movie(s) did you last see?
Up this weekend will probably be Star Wars 3, and possibly Jarhead too. As for how many movies I watch in a month...That differs so much...Sometimes I watch 3 movies a day, and other times I watch like, 1 if that a week. I guess if you took an average it would probably be 10ish, maybe slightly more per month.

Next-gen gaming consoles prediction thread
PS3 will sell a ton of units, the most. X-box will pull away from Nintendo, and Nintendo will do worse than ever. That's what I think. Even though Revolution looks kinda cool. PS3 will be the best.

A question about video
I have a question about video that I think should be placed here in the Media Board. My question is how can you record things that happen on your computer? Say, record a video of computer-game footage? Also, one more question. I'm doing a project which I would like to show a series of clips from different movies. I have them on DVD, and therefore can watch them on my PC, but is there any way where I can take clips out of them and burn these short clips from different movies on a single DVD? Also, I'd need to know if it would be the right format where you could put it in a DVD player and it would just automatically play. Thanks in advance.

Other Online games you re playing...
I haven't played much online games since I dropped Battlefield 2 about 3 months ago. 90% of other gamers are just too annoying to get along with. So I've been playing a long string of single player games: GTA: San Andreas, Age Of Mythology, Far Cry, KOTOR, Serious Sam: The First Encounter, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, System Shock 2, Baldur's Gate, Grim Fandango, No One Lives Forever 2, and as of today Baldur's Gate 2. Next on the horizon is Icewind Dale, Max Payne 2 (this is one of the greatest games ever), and then Planescape: Torment and hopefully Morrowind after that. There's lots of new high profile games out which I have no money for and therefore will not be getting, atleast yet (F.E.A.R, AOE3, COD2 are all in the wanted pile). I haven't really been into online shooters since Ravenshield like a year and a half back, because it had a mature following, unlike many other shoots *cough* CS *cough*

Worst Movie Ever?
The Hulk was just boring. It was cool, but it seemed like they shouldn't have made it 2 hours and 18 minutes long. If they had cut it to say, and hour 40 minutes, and taken lots of the boringness out, I bet I woulda loved it. Some parts I enjoyed, but there was too much time in between where I was spaced out. X-Men is just a horrible movie. So is Daredevil.(if it didn't have some big actors/actress, I can guarantee it would have been straight-to-DVD, or possibly cancelled during production). The Hulk is far superior to both, even though the Hulk was not very good.

What movie(s) did you last see?
 That's right. It was good, could have been slightly better if they followed the story, but it was by no means bad. Also, I watched Se7en yesterday. It was like  . That means good.

Worst Movie Ever?
The Cat in The Hat was horrible. X-Men 1-2 were horrible. Open Water was terrible. The Hulk wasn't entirely terrible, but was pretty bad. Spiderman 2 was not very good either. A Clockwork Orange was extremely botched. The book was amazing, and the movie was not terrible, but not particularly good either. Kingdom of Heaven wasn't the worst movie ever, but it was definately not good at all. Edit-Also Ong-Bak: The Thai Warrior.

!!!! XBOX 360!!!
Yea, but have you seen the movies for it? The screens are way easier to make look good. When you watch the movies, there are hardly stellar, and can't even compare to the screens. That's how it always has been. High def teaser screens and E3 vids, then dissappointing when the game actually comes out and you are actually playing it.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched 3 movies today! Batman Begins, The Warriors, and Doom! All quite good movies. Top 100, all 3. I honestly couldn't say which I liked best. And I just spent 6 hours watching movies, that's all I feel like saying for now.

AOEIII (UPDATED W/ NEW QUESTION)
I played the demo, and it really didn't seem as good as AOK. For one, since in the time of the new world, everyone had gunpowder, and everyone had cannons, and everyone was basically having the same kind of army (with different names for soldiers) so the demo kind of wasn't that fun because it wasn't like in AOK where you'd have elephants fighting against priests, and longbowman fighting cannons...It just seems like your fighting the same civ over and over. 2nd, there's some wierd things that confused me. Like the lack of storage pits so the resources would just stack on...Among other things that seemed really unnatural when comparing with other RTS. I'm all for change but I liked the systems and units in AOE and AOK better. Much better. So after playing the demo, I think I'm going to wait at least a few months before dishing out the 50 some-odd bucks to get it. It looks pretty alright though. (I'm a humungous fan of the AOE series btw.)

Jack Thompson 0 - Webcomic artists 1
Hahaha, this makes me smile. The only reason there was an investigation into GTA: San Andreas was because he was backed by Hilary Clinton and had many supporters and help from Leeland Yee (or whatever his name was). Without someone who's supposedly important (Sen. Clinton) he is just some crazy guy out to get his 15 minutes of fame. He thinks he can just threaten everyone with lawsuits and harassment. In fact Rockstar themselves had something making fun of him on The Liberty City Stories website. In the e-mails at the top, find the one who's email is [email protected]

Do you lock your doors? (aka. trust the outside world?)
I have this wierd thing that is annoying to my family - I always lock the doors, even when someone is outside doing something and will be coming back in soon. It's just auto pilot, I've even gotten out of the car, come inside and instantly locked the door and walked off. Then my mom comes 10 second later from the car and is locked out. And whenever I walk by a door and it's unlocked I lock it just out of habit. As for my family, we normally don't lock the door if we're only gone a few mins, but for an hour or whatever, or more, and at night, all doors are locked.

PSP and the DS
I'd say the contrary. With PSP's Killer App coming out a week from Tuesday, I bet that PSP sales are going to go up exponentially. GTA games have always done alright in Japan, but extremely well in North America. I can't really say how many people are getting PSP's just for this game, but I'm betting on a lot. Then they'll tell friends...And so on.

What movie(s) did you last see?
...Why would you do that. I watched that movie last night, it was not very good at all. It was soooo boring, had a really poor and poorly paced story, Orlando Bloom gave his worst preformance I've ever seen (which is pretty damn bad). He said like 3 words for the first half hour, and he didn't change his facial expression like ever. And after the first ten minutes he didn't really seem to care or mention that he'd gone to Jerusalem to make up for his sins, he just killed like eleventy billion guys there. And it's not like Terminator where saying a few words was cool, it was just horrible. Horrible acting and script for the main charecter. The only thing keeping it form being horrible was decent acting and the occassional epic battle.

What movie(s) did you last see?
Heh, that's what I watched last now too. It was on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network...Which I didn't know existed, but the movie was uncut and had minimal commercials. Yeah, it was quite a smart movie. It managed to give me lots of different feelings because it would go from disgust or shock one second, to happy or laughing in the next minute. It was really good, top 100 material.

Health Risk
Agreed. Whether it was a hoax or not, people can still believe it, and that just shows how heinous people are these days. Whether real or not, it shows its effect.

Halo movie???
Doom is going to be a great movie, because they chose not to alienate fans of the game, and it's rated R so it's going to be very good to source material. I can see how it may turn off some but I think it will be pretty cool. Besides, only parts of the movie are like that. Plus it has The Rock+Karl Urban. That's all I have to say. P.S. Max Payne is going to be the greatest movie of all time - if they do it right.

You should all watch this...
I'm gonna have to agree. I didn't wanna post this first but since someone else has said it I might aswell add. I watched the first half with music, then just concentrated on the words and not the music and stuff, and it completely took away the whole effect. Not a bad clip though.
