  1. I would say... 1. Crash 2. Sin City 3. Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith So Crash is the best, only slightly edging out Sin City IMO. I'm looking forward to: Munich, Walk the Line (already out, I know) and Syriana (looks amazing!)
  2. 95% accurate, 66 WPM Net speed. It would be faster but the words used in that I never would ever use and therefore cannot spell. I type by the word, not by the letter, so I go back and change most mistakes. In other words, if it was coming out of my head or someone using words I could spell, it would be significantly faster. Edit-Second try, on the second test - 97%, 74WPM net.

Wow I didn't hear that one...Quite amusing actually, in a really mean kinda way. That's far more jerkish but I can kinda see some humour in that. I guess I'm just twisted.

Not funny to someone who got an X-box obviously. Funny to most everyone else. I think it's a hoot.

Oh noes! Teh X-box getted teh pwnzerd. http://www.roxr.com/smashmyxbox/images/smx6.jpg This guy (or group, I'm not sure) got pledges from random internet type people, in order to buy an X-Box 360 the first day and then SMASH it in front of the poor people in line who didn't get one after waiting in line. How terribly amusing! There's a video but due to high traffic it's down now. It will be up at some point I hope. It will be here http://www.roxr.com/smashmyxbox/
  6. I saw The French Connection. It was a bit slow, but I think it was alright. It was kindy gritty/noir influenced, but only a hint of such. It was pretty interesting, pretty thrilling, but I wouldn't say it's a classic. It did the job, and it had the best car-to-train chase I've ever seen. I have The French Connection on tape, but I donno if I am gonna watch it. 7/10.
  7. Heh, funny, I was going to make this exact post several times and never did. Anyway, I think that everyone is instinctful, and everyone would be willing to kill/steal etc. for what is needed if there life was on the line. But we are mostly all brought up to think that all that kind of stuff is wrong. I don't think we are much more than the animals, but since we live in society that prohibits this kind of stuff, that's what puts us ahead of the animals. Also communication. So in other words, I don't know if we are good or evil, but without morals we would do whatever it takes. And to answer your second question, I don't think there is evil. Because how can we know what evil is? We are told by general acts against humanity that that is bad, but you never know who's fighting for the right side. It's all point of view. I don't have a clue what I just typed. I hope that it makes some measure of sence.
  8. They are very good movies, and I'm a big fan (they're in my collection). Vin Diesal is so very good for the role it's scary, and they are both great in entirely different ways. They are so different yet both good that it's funny, you can hardly tell they're related. And if you are a fan of the movies, do yourself a favour: play The Chronicles of Rid[bleep]: Escape From Butcher Bay game (for Xbox and PC - it's better on PC obviously). It really advances the charecter of Rid[bleep], and also of Johns (Cole Hauser in Pitch Black). It's an amazing game, that even if you don't like the movies it's good, but if you do like the movies, you'll like them even more after playing the game.

The one on the actual highway is the craziest. I'd hate to be the guy in the range-rover with that guy skidding all around him.

Heh, I donno what's up with my town. There's people other places who pre-ordered and won't get for days and stuff, even though they put their deposit down and everything. And yet I know someone who went to Wal-Mart when it opened this morning, and no pre-ordering and he got it. And I went to Future-Shop and they had them for a whole hour before running out of ones. Why didn't Microsoft just make more?
  11. Bah, thanks for reminding me of those two. Now I have to be angry for the rest of the day.

The one I got on the weekend said "You enjoy sports, horses and gambling in moderation." or something to that effect. How is that a fortune? Do tell?
  13. The only games out of that list that I would get, assuming I got an X-box 360 would be call of Duty, and perhaps (probably not) Condemned: Criminal Origins. I think its funny that Xbox is such a PC mooch. Call of Duty (what will most likely be Xbox 360's biggest launch title [save for MAYBE Perfect Dark]) is a PC game. And the first time round, Halo was supposed to be for PC but they needed a launch title. I read from a guy working at EB that he's really mad cuz people and their whiny kids keep coming in and slamming down the money and saying 'Give me an xbox' and then he has to tell them that they're particular location is booked until mid-January, and then he spends 4 hours a day at work telling people over the phone the same thing. Why didn't Xbox anticipate bigger sales? I don't see how not having enough is helping them any.
  14. thats why you dont change colors to post spoilers, it just doesnt work for everyone  (didnt bother me any, i noticed the different color and assumed it was a spoiler, so i didnt see it :P ) *grumbles* Blasted...multi-template...Grr...Whatever.
  15. I watched Panic Room, which apparently I own. I remember I got it for 6$ like atleast 4 months ago without ever having seen it. It was a decent thriller, and though it used lots of thrill tactics and close-calls, it was exciting. Pretty neat directing, but Jodie Foster's acting was not really very good. Otherwise good acting though. I'd say it was good, but the ending was to predictable and too perfect. Spoiler...skip to end if you haven't seen this.- IMO they should have let the black guy get away, since he was the only moral criminal, and he saved them. And he should have gotten like 1 of the deeds or something. I would have enjoyed that much more. Overall it was pretty good, if forgetable.
  16. BAHAHAHAHA. Your a good comedian. ... This is a joke right? No...I am actually 100% serious. You probably haven't even heard it so don't talk. Oh I have. Upon reading this I went to listen to it and it's a joke compared to the original. It completely failed to capture the mood and atmosphere of the actual song. It's like they weren't even paying attention to the lyrics they were singing...It was a complete mockery IMO.
  17. Dumb and Dumber, Shanghai Noon/Knights, American Pie 1-2 and Bad Boys 2 are basically the only movies I laugh at. Most others aren't very funny to me more than once, if at all.
  18. I'm a bit late to the draw, :(. But I guess I'll give you information rather than just yelling at you. USA (people act like Bush is the ultimate ruler of the US, and that he says "We'll go to war" and it is done. He doesn't just wake up one day and decide there will be war and there will be.) went to war on (now shown to be uninformed spy reports of WMD's [in hindsight bad answer, but think if they were true, and they did nothing]) and I'm not gonna deny the fact that they may have wanted oil. But you realise Saddam Hussein is up for many war crimes, including...Genocide? Yes that is right, as much as it's not good to go into a country and tell them how to live, it would be nice to go in and tell them to stop the ruler from killing all that oppose him, and prevent all the Western hating. He also made himself into a deity of sorts Of course, there is some images of the soldiers being cruel, and all that, and there have been many mistakes on either side. But Bush being elected is hardly comparable to the killing of 6 million Jews. In fact, 9/11 doesn't come close to that the Holocaust even (but it happened mad close to home is why it's so memorable, in the center of USA's biggest city, but such is for a different time and topic). But, I'm rambling, I can't remember what my point was. I must stop posting when I'm tired.
  19. BAHAHAHAHA. Your a good comedian. ... This is a joke right?
  20. Knockin on Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan I sense a trend. I have no respect for people who simply cover a song without bringing no new style to it. They don't get paid to do karaoke. I have slightly more (but still little) repect for people who cover songs and change something. They can still be good, but why do they have to use other peoples ideas to sell their records? There are a few good covers, Hero by the Wallflowers was alright, but most of them are highly forgetful.
  21. But that's why you go to like action/buddy/comedy flicks with others. Once the movie starts in a drama you can't talk anyway. And if it's a serious drama most of the people there won't be kiddies. I'd never go to see an action movie alone, but I'd seriously consider a drama. I'm saying this because I'm considering going see Walk The Line by myself. I'd prolly be the only one in there because everyone would be at Harry Potter...Or some other junk of similar capacity.
  22. I just finished watching American Beauty. It was an amazing movie, very well directed, amazingly well written, and some of the best acting I've ever seen (especially Spacey, but he's always awesome). It was funny, it was deep, it was clever and above all very entertaining. Definately somewhere in my top 20 movies.
  23. Does anyone ever go to the movies by yourself? Like if there was a movie you really wanted to see, and no one you knew was interested, would you go by yourself? Because, no offence to my friends, but they for the most part of terrible taste in movies, and do not see any critically acclaimed movies. They rather settle for childish movies, comedies and cheezy action flicks. So what does everyone think of going by yourself? And regardless of what you think, have you or would you ever go there by yourself?
  24. Star Wars>LOTR Spiderman>X-men (both are not good) Now tell me why I just did that.
  25. spinning? wassat? I think he means spinning around in a circle, and becoming extremely dizzy and sick. Atleast that's what I do in my spare time. But mostly I watch TV (or rather not watch it, just sit in front of it and soak up hour after hour of radiation), play SO many PC games and just browse the internet, as well as watch movies. I occassionally leave my house, too...
