Alzheimer's Eye Test
I got 6...We did this in Law class to prove that witnesses aren't always right in what they see. But there we only had a really short amount of time so it actually worked...Here, with all kinds of time, anyone can get 6.

Consumer Electronics Show 2006 - Las Vegas
The new Blue-ray vs. HD-DVD battle is gonna get on my nerves...They are supposedly better than regular DVD's (good enough for everyone to go out and completely rebuy their collection, I highly doubt), and here's the thing: you need a Blu-ray DVD player to play blu-ray disks, and a HD-DVD player to play those, and they are not compatible :?. And since Playstation 3 is backing blue-rays, and Xbox360 is backing HD-DVD's, I sence a really stupid war that will end in regular DVD's reigning supreme. What's the point? They only decent thing is that both types of players are backwords compatible to regular DVD's (as far as I know).

GME: Winner! - Lord Of The Rings 3 (ROTK)
Reservoir Dogs: Language is pretty bad, but not like terrible (It's not noticable to me really any more, but there's a good amount of f-words etc...not the worst ever or anything, though). There's also some violent times and lots of blood...No sexual content though. Clockwork: This is pretty violent, and there's lots of nudity plus some pretty graphic depictions of rape...It's pretty bad. No language to my knowledge though. Apocolypse Now: Depends, there's a lot less if you don't have the redux version. If you have the redux, there's one pretty nude-filled scene where you can just skip right over without losing much...There's another which I'm not sure is on the redux version which is not very long or close-up...There's a fair amount of violence and swearing aswell...It's pretty graphic but I donno what you really are wanting to see. If you don't have redux, the first scene I talked about it completely gone. One Flew: This has a brief flashing of a male behind, some violent content, and a few F-words...It's really not bad at all though, you should be able to see it.

=-=Powerful Movies=-=
I watched Broken Flowers...I understand the reason why it dragged on, and why it ended how it did, and I understood most of what happened and why...But that doesn't negate the fact that it was painfully boring. And kinda pointless aswell. Too arthouse for me. Not enough story, not particularly good dialogue. Save this movie for people who like this kind of indie film, for me, no thanks. Not my taste.

Any Other D&D Players Out There?
Ok, so the Dungeon master completely makes up an entire story? How long does that take? So they have the make up an entire world (unless you use one that they already have, as you said) and every chasm, monster, item etc etc etc has to be made up beforehand? And an entire story and all the quests? If I understand right, sounds like a lot of work. And please describe the Roleplaying elements more? Like, how do you pretend to be a half-elf? I pretty much understand the combat elements, because as I played through BG1 and 2, I made sure the dice-rolls were always on, and I did a bit of reading on the AC and the THAC0's and all that other good stuff. Yup, that's in the games...I think NVN takes place there (correct me if I'm wrong) but it's definately mentioned often. Yeah, the good thing about KOTOR is you can keep it entirely behind the scenes and play it like just some semi-turn-based game (or real-time if you wish), or you can play it entirely turn-based with all the number crunching.

The ARMY.... what do u think about it?
I couldn't join the army. Not because I have any problem with the morals (I might more closely consider the morals if I ever joined/was thinking of joining the army). Mostly I don't have a problem cuz I'm in Canada and it's not likely I'd be going and killing people, unless a full war broke out. But the reason I can't join the army is because I have back and knee problems, severely reducing my mobility and agility. I'm plenty fit, and plenty strong (I work a few days a week, and play hockey), but I'd be entirely incapable of fighting in a war. My skeleton just hurts too much.

=-=Powerful Movies=-=
1. Overdone Korova and CD store [overly tacky, is what I mean] 2. It seemed to take a comedic look at it (dark of course, but it was like it was trying to be funny [the book had darkly funny parts, but had an eventual moral bearing to hold it together]. In other words, the movie tried to be funny. It wasn't. And it sacrificed a lot because of it. 3. Acting partially excellent, but at the same time grinds against your nerves (or rather, my nerves). 4. A complete lack of another important part - the New York (something-or-other) Pub, which was really how they screwed him over (they didn't just run away from that old lady's house, they had a plan). 5. It lacked the 3 act feel of the book. This goes along with the lack of the last chapter. There was a total lack of moral growth, and he never actually became a man. He was still just a brat kid at the end, and all the character development is completely thrown out the window.

EXACTLY. Clockwork Orange would have been 10x better, but it was seriously lacking a moral ending. That annoyed me to no end, because the book was sooo much better. Ah, c'mon that's such a crap excuse to say a movie was bad because it didn't exactly stick to the book. Give a man credit because they film their own interpertation instead of giving an exact copy of the book. There were other problems, that was just the biggest.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched The Cave. It wasn't really THAT bad at all. I mean, it was terribly predictable, had questionable acting, wasn't scary and we've seen it before. But I suppose it was kinda fun to watch. The ending was pretty good, at least for that kind of movie. I think it would be fun the next time I rent one of these movies and get a group together, and right after all the character's are introduced, you vote on who dies, and in what order. You can pretty much guess it. And this movie had the perfect cliched characters (the leader, the younger brother, the love attraction, the tomboy, the black guy, the Chinese guy, the...Country music star (if you get what I mean), the guy who opposes the leader, and the old scientist. I don't normally put people into classes, but you can tell the directors thought "we are seriously lacking [such and such type of character]. Let's put in a character with this characteristic and have them completely predictable. Hey, we can kill them off too! So yea, it wasn't great, but it wasn't as bad as it looks, or as critics say it is.

Odd Mindsets?
I'm pretty sure I'm actually in the Matrix. More on that later.

Any Other D&D Players Out There?
Well, the campaign setting would have a world-map sort of thing -- but it's not used in a put on the table so that people can put their figures on it sort of way; it's like a map for a book -- read the Lord of the Rings? Like the maps for that. Let's say that there's a dungeon. As far as I know (not having ever actually run a game) there is a map of that dungeon that the person doing the "behind the scenes" business can see, and no-one else can. Places are described, and perhaps a map is drawn out every now and then. There are also grids, as I recall, that can be put down to show more detailed maps and things -- not sure, really. To recap.: if your characters travel to some far off city, you might be told "you arrive in [city]. [Description]". Now, if you have access to a world map -- i.e. a map of that whole made up world, you can look at it and think "OK, I'm here"; that's about as much as the world map is used for, other than perhaps... getting an idea of how far away somewhere is. I really can't say any more; I only did this a few times, so am not really qualified. So how do you move about? Do you use your 20 sided-dice or do you just say, "travel to Amn" or whatever. While we're on that topic, is is based in the Forgotten Realms? And does it include the sword coast with Amn and such.

So is there like a big map? Or what.

Any Other D&D Players Out There?
As the others have said, the comp games. I have been playing BG1+expansion, and BG2...I'm starting the expansion to that in a few days. Then Icewind Dale. Then NWN. These games are huge... I might like to play, but I doubt anyone I know would play, and it wouldn't be worthwhile to learn that much about it if I knew anyone. Can you just tell me a few things? How does the actual pen and paper game work? It there like a board, or is it entirely on paper. And does your character exist only on paper or is there like a figure. And what is the objective? I've tried looking in other places and asking people but no one gives a straight answer :|.

the producers
Mell Brooks wrote the original and stage show. He also produced the new film but neither directed not wrote the screenplay for it.He does get the writing credit for it though. Since he did write the original screenplay. http://imdb.com/title/tt0395251/

Any tips for me on healthy eating?
Well, since most people don't listen to advice anyway, I might as well just say how some basic things help keep you thin. Lots of water, lots of fruit (delicious and...cheap!) and almost no fast food. Coke and such is fine, so long as you don't have it everyday. Have at max 2 soft drinks in a week, and I'd say at max eat out a week. With these simple steps, and a few other simple things (like don't have a whole cheesecake everyday etc. you should be able to figure this out for yourself.) Also, eat lots, don't make yourself hungry because when you're out and you're hungry, you're probably gonna pick up something unhealthy.

Your DVD Collection (pics)
I have roughly 70 DVD's. I'm not gonna write em all out, or take a pic. No one's going to look at it anyway.

What movie(s) did you last see?
just out of curiosity, what are the other two? Broken Flowers and Lord of War. :P In Broken Flowers we follow a pink letter, and in Lord of War we follow the bullet. Broken Flowers come out on DVD this week :). I proclaim I will watch it. Wedding Crashers too (again).

Title in Progress : Movie Trailer!
Uhhhhhh...Yeah.... You're gonna have to help me out here. For one, I didn't hear any bad language, or maybe I did, I couldn't understand it because of accent. Plus, I have no clue what was going on, it was just flipping red all over the thing, and someone appeared to be running. I don't think that can be even classed as a B-movie...More like D or so... Also, why would the weak stomached be alarmed? I watched it twice and was barely able to hear/see anything distinguishable. Other than coming 2006.

Anyone remember Doom/Doom II, and wants to play online?
Doom is shareware, which is why I haven't locked this. If anyone can provide evidence saying the opposite I will gladly remove the thread http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DOOM Doom 1, and only Doom 1 is shareware. Doom 2, Ultimate Doom, Final Doom etc etc. are all commercially sold singularly or in a collection, from the idSoftware website. Therefore, while Doom 1 is technically legal to download, it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s not legal to get any other̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s (such as Doom 2, since it has never been available as shareware). http://www.idsoftware.com/games/doom/do ... ection=buy [quote=̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Anyone remember Doom/Doom II, and wants to play online?
Nah I'm one of those people who doesn't play a game that needs a $5 computer to run it. Abandonware ftw! Anyway, I do have some fond memories of Doom (II)... might check it out one of these days... I don't think Doom is abandonware. I'm pretty sure it's still illegal to download...They still sell it in stores (upgraded to work on XP).

Dick Clark
It was really a tribute to him that they allowed him to do it...And that he had the courage to go in front of America after a stroke. Plus, it's not like he's broadcasting anything important. It's 2006, like you didn't know that before watching. And if you didn't, you might figure it out judging by the gigantic ball of light and the thousands of people counting down.

Do you celebrate, or even care about new year's?
Well, I celebrate more than an average Jehovah's Witness (I'm not one, but I celebrate hardly at all). A Pretty good meal, and then a watch of the ball. That's about it. I'm having family brunch in about and hour.

Wait. Stop the conversation! Runesmithie gets neither ABC or NBC?! Ewwww....What do you get? Anyways, I had planned to watch it, but for some reason I was watching...Fox, and Carson Daily was on...It was because there was a minute and 40 seconds left when I tuned in, and I just wanted to see the ball.
