how to pronounce "route"
I actually use different in different context. If it says "Take Route 65 down to the bayoo" (as it often does) I say Rowte. If I was just talking regularly about taking a different direction, I'd probably say root.

Workout Music!!
Ugh...At the school gym (an incredibly huge and well-equiped gym, and cheap to use too) they repeat the same 1 or 2 CD's every single day ad nauseam. They seem to play all the music of Rocky, then some old, terrible 80's music like Dee Sniper and Def Leppard, then about half and hour of AC/DC...It really breaks my motivation, and in grade 10 was probably the second best reason why I didn't work out all year (the first reason was I didn't want to). And the thing is I can't put anything I want on because all the other people would get mad...Plus the gym is connected to the weight room, so they want music too...

Se7en (*spoilers*)
I've never seen Silence of the Lambs. It's one of those movies that would be so easy for me to watch, but it always evades me. It's like, 7 bucks in a store, and it's on like every single week, but I never end up watching it for some reason. Guess I don't want to see it that much. Lol, Dance's With Wolves is on AT LEAST once a week, and I never watch that either. Too long on TV... Se7en is exceptionally good though. Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey giving an excellent preformance, and one of Brad Pitt's best. I really like how grungy and dark it is aswell.

Favourite colour???

The Definitive Chuck Norris
Oh yea, did you guys know Chuck Norris is 65 years old? He still roundhouse kicks as if he's 25. This is true.

The Greatest 200 VideoGames of their Time. Why Nintendo >
For some reason PC games aren't ever included in these lists. They aren't considered video games.

The Definitive Chuck Norris
Rofl. Great stuff. Who's chuck norris? :) Chuck Norris is Walker Texas Ranger...A show where he ends up whoopin people all the time. He's also apparently a real-life master of Martial Arts. Here's one my my favs: My other favs that come to mind aren't apprpriate :(. He is cool. He's a master of martial arts...He repeatedly owned people on his show, his tears cure cancer...what else do you want? Has anyone else seen him on Yes, Dear? He knocks out like a bar full of guys. It is excellent.

The Jack Thompson Crusade
I'd like to see the credentials for those involved in the study, and all factual evidence that led them to this conclusion. Yea, I would also like to see this mystery study. http://gr.bolt.com/oldsite/articles/violence/violence.htm Here's one saying the complete opposite...Here's a quote that pretty much sum's up the whole article. (You should still read the whole thing, it's well backed up, and has a lot of interesting evidence).

The Jack Thompson Crusade
Personally, I think video games make less murders...People will say "I think I'll go kill Billy"...but their brains and bodies are so wasted from video games that by the time they get to their gun case, they have forgotten what they set out to do, and are already too tired to walk any more...So they just go back to playing some kind of video game...It's easier. Concluding, video games stop crime. My arguement is roughly as valid as Mr. Thompson's.

The Jack Thompson Crusade
He has shares in Take-Two...And he's been on his little crusade for so long, and he attacks games (i.e. The Sims) without actually looking into what he's saying, so his allies are slowly distancing themselves from him...Soon enough he'll just be the next crazy cook yelling on a street corner about the evils of video games...Oh wait, that's pretty much already happened.

Swearing. Eh?
I don't ever swear out in pain. Because I'm invincible. But I've no problem with people swearing, unless it's around children. But not really because it will hurt the child. But they might pick it up, and use it around an adult and then get chastisted. I very rarely swear at all really...I usually only use it when quoting something, or for comic effect...I donno why. Swears are funny.

Ideas for a new tournements.
Seinfeld, hands down. Friends would be a close runner up though. Oh wait, it's Tip It Boy Meets World would probably win it. Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. But Sitcoms would be a good field for a poll in my opinion; you don't have thousands of them which people know of, so it would be easier to come to a mutual decision in regards to the nominees (as opposed to actors and actresses). And, I would think that pretty much everyone has seen an episode of Seinfeld or Everybody Loves Raymond or whatever. Yea but think about how many people from the UK are on these boards...Who enjoy shows I would never have heard of have it not been for these boards, and have never seen an episode of...

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched Red Eye and The Constant Gardener. Red Eye was quite an entertaining movie. It only ran 76 minutes, and was focused every moment. Even the beginning's, before the guy goes psycho, are really good (forshadowing, character building, setting up subtle things that come back into play a bit later etc.) What I noticed was that not only did the two main character's play their roles well, but all the...other people around them (kinda between supporting cast and extras) were really kinda fun to watch. It was pretty smart, pretty good acting, and I donno why, but I enjoyed the no-fluff directing...If you want a pretty exciting, quick-moving movie, you might as well watch this. If you don't like it, it's only an hour and a bit long. But it's good for a larf. The Constant Gardener was basically the complete opposite, but it too was pretty good. There was a lot of character building throughout, and it's use of flashbacks was interesting. It's story is something I've never seen before in a movie (corruption of pharmaceutical companies testing on people in Africa) and it was pretty intriguing...I can see how someone could get bored though, I drifted off (not to sleep, but semi-sleep) at various downtimes, and don't let the box or the trailer or the genre fool you. This doesn't really have any action...It was a pretty good movie, excellent acting I must say, and I thought it looked amazing in Africa. It kinda seemed like it ran on too long, but that was just me. A pretty good movie overall.

Boredom + Duct Tape = New Wallet ^_^

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched L.A. Confidential. It was pretty good; good acting, intriguing, suspensul story, pretty good characters...It was just an overall good movie. Top 100 worthy, it was just pretty good. I kinda expected a bit more, because with an award winning screenplay+kevin spacey+russell crowe+high IMDB rating, I was expecting a bit more...But it was still quite good don't get my wrong. I just got my hopes up so high that pretty much no movie could match them. It was still all around pretty good. Anyways, I'll rent my usual 2 new releases tommorow, plus a favourite. I'm thinking Red Eye, Hustle n Flow, and Rear Window.

Ideas for a new tournements.
If we learned anything from Greatest movie is that it just doesn't work...The video game would be even worse...Since that's where fanboys come from...There are simply too many games, and too wide of tastes in videogames...Thousands of video games, over the course of so many systems, that few (and I doubt anyone on this board) has come close to playing even all of the big name games, let alone those amazing games you never hear about because they don't have TV commericals. Plus, unless you have every system in existence, and a humongous collection of games, you couldn't possibly put in a valid arguement. It would pretty much be the game that the most people have played, and didn't hate. Same with albums...Since a lot of people just download their music now, most people don't have a large CD collection...Especially not a large CD collection that has a lot of variety and covers a large time period. The song one worked because people would just go download the song and listen to it for 5 minutes. Personally I don't think that this kind of polls really works on this type of board.

spicy foods
I occasionally like hot, but not too hot...If there are like wings or whatnot I useually stick to mild, so I can enjoy the taste of the actual thing I'm eating instead of the heat. On a side note, January 21 is International Hot and Spicy Food Day...No joke.

Everythings pin-pointed on Bush. That's why he got re-elected. People love to pin their problems on him.

Favorite Led Zeppelin Song
Stairway and Kashmir I guess...Though I'm not the biggest fan of Led Zeppelin. I listened to about 7 Zep songs today (I had my radio set to classic rock stations for like 4 straight hours...with about half hour of Zep marathon.) Some of these I've heard before, some not, but none as good as the 2 I said. I feel that Led Zeppelins songs are too long, even though it's not really about the time. I like a lot of far longer songs as long as they have longness-potential...Lots of Zep songs seem more 'long for the sake of being long'...But they are pretty good I guess... On a side note, it's Jimmy Page's birthday, that's why they were playing so much Zep.
