  1. Has anyone ever told you that you are a genius? You NEVER see Max Payne on greatest games lists, but I for one am able to see the awesomeness off it. Even if you didn't have bullet-time...It has an amazingly well realised noir setting/story...Excellent plot twists and turns, amazingly cool levels and environments...If it was longer, it wold prolly be the single greatest game of all time...Well, Max Payne 2, if it were longer...It would be better...Cuz it's even better than Max Payne 1 (as you said). But since it's so short...It's only one of the best. This game might be the most stylish game ever. BTW, I just finished Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn, for the first time, less than 10 minutes ago. Awesome ending ;). Can't wait for Throne of Bhaal, which I got in the same pack. Good times, but not the best game ever. For RPG, I'd say Bioware is better with KOTOR. Has anyone ever told you that you are a genius? Anyone who disagrees with this guy are either mentally handicapped, haven't played it, or have the worst taste in games this side of San Fierro. This game also has so much style, so much to do...I've said it all before... Also, games I would explain but they need no explaining: Half-Life Half-Life 2 Deus Ex About a dozen other amazing games, which I would mention but I'd prolly leave one out and then I'd cry.
  2. Mind showing me where you got that idea from? Bubsa, what are you talking about. RuneScape is clearly the first fantasy game of all time!
  3. Is it just me of is that maybe just a tad wierd? Good song, yes...But...I don't wanna be mean or anything but...Yeah...
  4. Emo

    Mr_Putter replied to KnightofDoom's topic in Off-Topic
Lol. Fall Out Boy...Emo...Just because they suck doesn't mean they are emo.
  5. I got Crash :), and Citizen Kane 2 Disc Special Edition. Need I say more.
  6. Mr. and Mrs. Smith - a decently exciting action flick, if absurdly stupid action. They had about 50 like SWAT-ish guys shooting at them from 3 different levels, and they were in the middle, just spinning and shooting for like 5 mins and they didn't get hit in the head. They got about 25 torso hits each, but they were wearing vests, but it was absurdly stupid. But it wasn't trying to be realistic, but it wasn't particularly great action in that scene either. It had a sorta exciting feel, and decent comedy...Not the best movie ever but worth a watch if you happen to rent it. Cinderella Man - This one was great :)! Ron Howard+Russel Crowe=good :). Excellent directing, good score, also very good acting (I think Paul Giamatti deserves ATLEAST a supporting actor Oscar nomination, hopefully a win, Renee Zelweggar was pretty good to.) Russel Crowe was excellent, but not like as good as he was in A Beatiful Mind...But this was definately a pretty good movie. Oscar nomination... perhaps, I wouldn't be to surprised. Ron Howard might get directing too. Oh, and I plan to watch Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and The Maltese Falcon both on Wednesday.
  7. Agreed. There are probably a dozen sites there with an answer. Also, how would won know where the 1 titanium bolt is in your game? Assumedly there are several, as you said 1 remains, so how would they know which you've found and which you haven't? Also, why ask on this forum? Why wouldn't you go to a game site? Or better yet a playstation site? Or better yet even, a Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal site?
  8. I prefer Cockroach, Foot, Nuclear bomb. Foot crushes cockroach, nuclear bomb blows up foot, cockroach survives nuclear bomb. That's That 70's Show for you.
  9. As for RIGHT NOW, that are big in say the last 10 years...And remember in 50 years? I'm gonna be brutally honest and say I can't see it happening. Not in the last 5 years anyway.
  10. Definately GTA: San Andreas, for the PC. Unmatched. I'm still wanting to get F.E.A.R. and COD2, but I doubt they will come close.
  11. Oh I get it...Is it called Indigo Prophecy in North America?
  12. The PC is a gaming system! Because think about it? What else can you do other than play games? You can waste time not playing games, which is in fact a waste of time. And plus Xbox isn't made just for gaming. Its for movies and music too... But obviously PC games are the best, because the library of PC games are so much bigger and more diverse than any other system. I can boot up games from like 1992, and if I need anything (some games such as Doom have come out with updated, XP friendly versions) it takes like 2 mins to download. Not to mention that games have been in the online business for so much longer, and is therefore more focused than on consoles. And there's better controls, better graphics, better games, more diverse games, customization, and a heap of useless other things you can do on PC (useless as compared to gaming). Best games. Forget about it. There's too many. That's why it's so hard to compare them, they are so much more diverse than other mediums.
  13. Second vote! Obviously Godfather is leaps and bounds ahead of LOTR, it's far superior. But LOTR will most likely win, and that makes me want to be sad. Neither deserves this title, ROTK aint even close, but whatever. 1-1, this is shaping up to be the closest so far!
  14. Could be sleepwalking. In fact, there's a guy in my country who apparently got in his car, drove to the next town over, shot his mother and father and law, drove home and got back into bed. That's his story. He got acquited. Perhaps it's emo music (slitting wrists etc.) combined with sleepwalking. Do you listen to emo?
  15. But why does being born with skills make for them being able to make THAT much more than someone who saves peoples lives? They DO deserve a LOT of money, they do! But not because they are born how they are. They deserve lots of money because they practice all through childhood, basically meaning they don't really have much of a childhood, and they pretty much risk it all to make professional sports, it's their only chance so they then spend all their time getting as perfect as possible. But that still doesn't mean they deserve as much as they do. They could easily dump all NHL, NBA, NFL etc. players, take all their money, and just bump those people who are SO close to being professional level, pay them 1/10th of what professionals get, and they would be happy, and we would be watching games that are so very close to professional class it would hardly matter. And I prefer Collage sports over pro sports anyway. Those guys all WANT to be there. They try there hardest every second because they are trying for their life to get to pro. They have more on the line, so they have more hustle, and they just play a fiercer game IMO. I also agree that TV stars make too much, (even though I'm quite sure Kelsey Grammar doesn't make 7 mill/ep....a few years before Frasier went off, TV guide did a thing on highest paid TV stars, and Kelsey Grammar was at like 1.5mill/ep. So I doubt it went up that much in the few years.) I think police/doctors etc. deserve more, because they are actual doing something good, and you need to work REALLY hard to get there (doctors I'm talking here). And now-a-days, atleast in places other than where they need cops (NYC, they'll take anyone lol), but most places now-a-days you REALLY should be getting a University Degree if you want a chance to get in, and even if you get in without one, you won't get moving very fast. And starting cops make like dirt money. And then the guys who are playing games get paid millions. A bit twisted. I know this because my bro is wanting to become a cop, and he's done research...80% of the cops in my county are educated past highschool.
  16. Obviously it's the printing press, or perhaps the even simpler - written language. All forms of society and technology sprout from here, since we can build on the ideas of other people and history and learn how to do and not to do things (no langauge, no history, science, likely much less math, no English or any language (obviously), no computers, nothing). Go language!
  17. It is considered a cult classic, but then so are a lot movies.
  18. I vote George W. Bush. But seriously, I would vote Stephen Harper probably (Conservative), much of what he says I agree with. Second would be Jack Layton (Democrat). Liberals seem to me to be so weak and indecisive, it angers me. Whereas the Conservatives have many better ideas and are prepared to act on them. And I'm not even rich, so that means something more.
  19. Yea, it's really a pretty good movie. Great action, really really good directing, and it's got a lot of style (which owns). It's all dark and New Yorkie, and it's got Max Payne style comic panels. It's exciting, and really well thought out and has an interesting story. The acting is...sufficient...And really it's quite a good and entertaining movie. I'd suggest it for all, atleast to watch it. It's not the best story ever but it's exciting and excellent for an action movie.

:o . I know Drew is a guys name, but sorry to break this to you...Thats an actress. Jessica Alba too. Mine: Marlon Brando Al Paccino Harrison Ford Morgan Freeman Kevin Spacey Tom Hanks Russell Crowe Bruce Willis The Rock (woot) Vin Diesal (woot) Humphrey Bogart Owen Wilson Jim Carrey (while many movies are funny because of the scripts Carrey and Wilson make lesser scripts more funny, plus Carrey is good actor too) Samuel L. Jackson Charleton Heston Brad Pitt Jack Nicholson Nicholas Cage
  21. Rogue Spear came out Sept 22, 1999 for the PC, 2000 some time I guess for Dreamcast. But even before that Rainbow 6 had co-op. And VOV, I knew I forgot tribes :(.
  22. The first time a guy comes in and says "Hey doc, I got some herpes you need to look at", you'll know you've made a terrible mistake. My dream job? Something where I work when I want to work, that is fun to me. And hopefully have other colleages and co-workers. Dream house. I don't care. Give me the house they live in in Boodock Saints (it's like entirely cement, and they have a toilet and a shower in the middle of their like bedroom). I honestly really don't care aslong as I eat and have some furniture.
  23. I saw Walk the Line. It was quite good, Joaquin Pheonix and Reese Witherspoon are surprisingly excellent singers, as they did all the singing for their own parts. Excellent acting aswell. The story was not unlike Ray, in fact it was scary close. It was pretty much the same movie with a different star. Quite a good film, I can sense some Oscar nominations, and perhaps wins for acting. It's hard to say what will win best movie, but I hope to see Munich soon which looks rad.
  24. Well, I went to see Walk the Line, alone. Take that! what other people think. To be honest, I hardly even noticed. I sat a few mins by myself, so what? Then the movie started, and you can't talk during a movie anyway. And aside from other late teenage-ish people who were with their parents, it was me and a bunch of people over 40. In fact when I got their a few mins early, there was just 1 couple in their, who were probably 80. Then right as the movie started about 20 people came in. And get this: no popcorn thrown! I'll probably do it again sometime real soon.
