in pulp fiction.......
I just assumed it was Mr. Pink in RD. I didn't put a deep amount of thought into it, I suppose. As it doesn't make sence that a bullet came from no where. Or does it?

Style or Function?
If I were to, it'd be style. That's why I find it hilarious when X-Box fanboys use the arguement against PS3 that it looks cool and the controller of PS3 looks stupid. PS3 controller will be very functional. BTW - I think I am going to enter into the console buying market. I saw a Nintendo 64 for $9.99 with my name on it 8) .

The Funniest Person Ever
Man, that guy was a genious. And he always was smiling when he talked which I found funny. And his show. Oh how funny his show is, with the "Denby Cam". They'd spy on their old many boss, and he's do funny things. Like one time he dropped his toast and he started to cry. And one time he had a cupcake on his birthday and it lit the whole room on fire, and once he wore boots and started singing "These boots are made for walkin'" or whatever the song is. I hate how that show got cancelled. Norm was great on that. I can see how people wouldn't like him. He's not for everybody. I think he's quite funny though, and an exceptional actor. His impression of Samual L. Jackson is superb  .

Memory?
I remeber a few images from when I was like 1 or 2, which is incredible, but no knowledge of why I have these images. The last I can remember and I know what was going on is when it was just before my 5th birthday and I was at Disney World. I can only remember walking around and stuff though.

Oscar Season
Yes, those are the 3/4 best movies this year, but are they what the Academy is going to say? Crash is the other movie that atleast diserves a nomination for best movie. And a win for best Original Screenplay. The 3 you said plus this are definately the 4 best movies this year. But does the Acadedy think so? Hard to say. Yea, but I thought Million Dollar Baby to be all right. I donno about Best Picture though. The Aviator was very overrated I thought, it was just a hassle to watch and was overlong. Ray was perhaps the best candidate of last year, save for perhaps MDB, and it was very well done and very interesting. And what were the other two nominees? It was like Sideways and Finding Neverland? Both terrible. Sideways had 2 funny parts, and the rest was torture. And FN was...Just plain torture without stopping. There was very little to speak of last year. Hotel Rwanda, Collateral were good, a few others...

Oscar Season
Alright! It's Oscar season coming up. As we all know, many, if not all of the movies that are attempting to get nomitated for Oscars, specifically the bigger ones (actors/actresses, director, and of course best picture.) This year I'm going to and atleast try to see most of the Oscar-buzz pics, as last year I seemed oddly confused around Oscar season. I ended up seeing all the movies nominated for anything once they came to DVD, as I always do, but this year I'm thinking im going to go to the theatre to see them so I can see them before the Oscars. So what do you guys think will be in the running for Oscars this year? There's a tremendous hype around "Walk The Line", specifically for Joaquin(?) Pheonix's portrayel of Johnny Cash. Another one which I think has a chance is "Munich", directed by Spielburg, which revolves around the 1972 Olympics. It's supposed to have a "Schindler's List" kind of flavour so this could be good. Other possible runners include: Brokeback Mountain (this doesn't interest me in the least), Memoirs of a Geisha (neither) and Good Night and Good Luck (maybe, maybe). There's also some buzz around Jarhead (in doubt), and King Kong (I also doubt it). What I'm personally looking forward to is Syriana, with George Clooney and Matt Damon. It's from the writer of traffic, a drama/thriller. It sounds good, and involves intertwining stories revolving around the worlds oil industry. I'm excited, this could cuz some buzz. But anyway, what do you think of the upcoming Oscar season, and what did you think of last year. I'll perhaps post my thoughts on last year tommorow. I'm out - discuss!

Favorite Movie Type?
Sci-Fi Thriller Drama are the top 3. And then there's like branches off each. They should all have action, atleast to an extent, and adventure is fine to. I don't like comedy movies, they are too PG-13 almost always, and even when they get to R they seem to hold back.

The Funniest Person Ever
I'd like to know what everyone thinks to be the SINGLE funniest person that there is. I'd like to ask that you name 1(one) person as your favoruite comedian, or just a person that you think is the funniest person ever. If you wish to add other people in as honourable mention, go for it, but try to deem 1 person to be the funniest. As for me, I pretty much can't get many laughs anymore. I've been sort of in a time where fart/bathroom jokes aren't funny, and old-person humor isn't funny either. So there's few things that I find funny any more. I still like to think that I have a sence of humor, there's almost no movies that I find remotely funny. And since many of the funniest TV shows are either no longer on the air, or have passed their time, there's not much new material I find funny. But I'd have to say that THE SINGLE FUNNIEST person ever is...Charlie Murphy. I just can't get enough of him. For those of you who don't know, he's the (far funnier) brother of Eddie Murphy. His work on Chappelle's Show is funny, and he says some AMAZING lines in the Rick James and Prince skits, but where he really shines is in his full interview for the show, and his untold stories. He is a master storyteller, and his use of cursing is unapoligetic, and refrains from being over the top. He tells the funniest stories, says the funniest things, and overall I'd say he's the funniest person I've ever seen. He's just so consistantly funny, and you couldn't pack more hilarious things into a person just talking (without making prior material). Honorable mention go out to the following: Dave Chappelle: It's really cool the amount of quoteable quotes he does on his show that were never in the script, and he just makes them up as he goes along. Such as "What'd the five fingers say to the face" and "I'm Rick James [female dog]" Those, according to the audio commentary by the director and Dave are completely ad libed, and this makes him hilarious. Much of his show is amazing, but occassionally unconsistant. That's why he doesn't win. His standup is delightfully rude (without being TO rude) and thus hilarious. Conan O'Brian: Man this guys a hoot. He's just so crazy and wild on his show, he's just mad funny. Really funny. Jerry Seinfeld: Very Funny, his act is amazing. He has good material, but his presentation is also awesome. I can't believe how much funny stuff he packs in there. Also funny: Michael Richards, David Letterman, more to come. So what do you people think is the single funniest person ever, and why?

Next-gen gaming consoles prediction thread
A so-called analyst in the Toronto Star claims that by 2012, Sony will have sold 120 million units, X-box 60 million units. And the funny thing is that the column was so biased that they'd praise X-box for like 5 paragraphcs, then try to downplay the fact that Playstation has sold 4 times as many. And then they'd spew a few more false facts in favour of X-box.

Video of a SUV driver being hit with a taser gun
How did he know she wasn't saying "I'll just make a phone-call" and reaching for a gun? Or calling some mercenaries maybe?

Movie Renting Topic - for anyone!
Anchorman's a comedy. And it's got romance. And a gang war with extra tridents. But you've all probably seen it.

Rock or Rap? maybe Polka?
I like rock, because of what Necromagus said on the first page. That it basically takes a lot more musical skill to make rock than rap. Rather than just turn up the bass and spew some lyrics out. All my favourite bands and my favourite sound comes from rock. It's just the better music IMO. But I'm not entirely dissing rap. I was of the haters of it until I played GTA: SA, and discovered Old-ish rap (early 90's rap) which is FAR superior, and is borderline tolerable-good music. Mostly Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg. It's pretty decent if you give it a try. Not this modern poop.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I watched Traffic yesterday. It was good, top 100 material. It had amazing acting (Don Cheadle and Bencio Del Toro is particularly good in this, and Hotel Rwanda, which I'm currently watching in English class). What I don't get though, is if Benicio Del Toro won an Oscar for best supporting actor, whose the main actor? Michael Douglas? The camera colours and constant waving were cool and excellent, if occasionally disorienting. Well written throughout, but here's the snag: I was interupted atleast 7 times, my eyes were in extreme pain, the volume wasn't working, and we're getting a new couch, so I had to sit in an uncomfortable and LOUD chair. So here's my wee tale: I started watching and get everything ready. I watch for the first five minutes with almost no volume (it was Spanish subtitles anyway, so it didn't really matter). Then I realised that the rest of the movie was low volume too (I figured that the low volume in Mexico was purposeful, for some reason. Then I was sitting and my back hurt a lot, so I couldn't really consentrate on the movie. Then about an hour into the movie, my eyes had been bothering me SO much, they were all red and itchy becuase I had had my contacts in all day (even though I took them out before the movie). So I had to get up to get eye drops. Then 20 minutes later, the couch people show up so I have to move my big heavy chair, and get all my pillows and blanket and stuff out of the way. Then it turns out someone screwed up our couch order, so they sit around and scratch there heads for half-hour, and then drive off. And so I'm now considering I'll finish it the next day because I was so mad. But I move my chair back into place and watch for half-hour, then my mom calls for dinner...GRRRR...Then I had to move rooms after dinner to my other room. And I had to plug my headphones in (bad, box-like sound) but I was more comfortable, and I watched for the remainder of the movie and enjoyed it. So how bout that. And there were atlest 5 other annoyances...Such as my bro watching the TV really loud in the other room, and I go turn it down, and 10 mins later its back up. And there's almost no music and stuff in Traffic so my mind keeps drifting to what he's watching...And I get mad...I'm gonna watch it again since I own it...But not any time soon. Maybe it's cursed. But from how I did enjoy it, I'd say 7.5-8/10. It was good writting and acting, and suitable directing. I'm watching Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith tommorow, and probably American Beauty the next day.

Ever played Half-Life 2?
Graphics: 10...THE BEST GRAPHICS I've ever played a game on...And the great part about them is, even on an average computer there's almost no slow-downs. And you can play on Medium-High level of graphics. Overall, when you put it all together they are the best. Monsters 9.5: Great enemy AI, decent enough monsters. There's enough variety so that you never feel bored. Combines are incredibly cool Weapons 10: Gravity gun works by itself, and it has entirely solid weapon combat throughout. Most games have 0-1 trademark weapon, this has 2. Overall: 98%. There was one bug that marred part of the single-player, and a decent bit in the multi-player. It involved objects sticking together (including you if you got stuck on them) Like one time I took all the items in the level with a grav gun and stacked em in a pile. Then jumped on. And it was like a spider-web. I was stuck, and i'd start to run away and get 5 feet and then it'd pull me back. Other than that, this game is definately in the top 3 best games I've ever played, and I've played so many PC games it's ludicrous. The story is without a doubt the best in any game (if you look between the lines), graphics are amazing, solid action, amazing production values...Lengthy but not tedious single-player, months of replay value in CS:S and maybe some Deathmatch. One of the best buys I've ever made.

Best Family Guy episode ever?
My favourite could be...The one where Meg is the reporter and she's trying to do a good article...Mostly that's funny because of Adam West. He's gotta be the funniest charecter on the show by far. "How do you know my language?" (into toilet paper roll) "Do I sound like I'm on old time radio?" "You can't interview a dead man!"

Personality tests, IQ tests, tests
I took the sex id test (shows what sex your brain acts most like). It was mad stupid because I did well on most ever challenge, better than both women and men average, so I ended up smack-dab in the middle. I'm not a half-breed. It's second from the top, in Drealfreak's second link.
