Yeah, My area of expertise is Play by Post Story based RPGs and Tabletop RPGs, though I am able to play Space comparatively well (I am more of a planner than a charge in to deal with the problem sort of person when my information on a the scenario is far from complete, which is why I am trying to get out of the position as the Captain of one of the ships). Nex, your post character stats are missing a fair few very important pieces of information: How did you distribute your 16-18skill points? Did you take bonus skills or bonus hp for your levels of rogue(assuming you aren't multiclassing)? Are you playing a Human rogue with the combat trick rogue ability? otherwise you have a few too many feats Exotic Weapon Proficiency only works with 1 weapon category, so alot of those weapons will heavily penalize you for using them how exactly did you get a psuedodragon?

Okay, in just summarising this for my records: Ranged Inquisitor- sneak half caster - divine Ranged Druid- full caster - divine Paladin- combat partial caster -divine Monk - combat Alchemist- alternative caster (arcane) Cavalier/Bard- combat/ sneak half caster- support arcane so yeah, for the traditional party makeup ( 25%+ combat, ~25% sneak, ~25% arcane, ~25% divine) you are somewhat lacking in the sneak department, and your group definately is not short on magic. In my opinion the party would get the most benefit out of a rogue, but I can see how a traditional arcane caster would be helpful for the group. in terms of getting a character for being the party Face, a specialized rogue or a bard is probably the best choice, though if you think an arcane caster is needed Sorcerer is the best replacement. We're using a 25 point point buy system. You can use most any Pathfinder source you find (as long as it is possible for me to get a copy and look over it myself). You would be starting at second level with the standard amount of gold for that level. I wont have any problems making a character (I am currently GMing a Pathfinder campaign as backup for when our 1st Edition D&D Dm isn't avalible in a local Tabletop RPG group) I will just have to look through and find what areas of expertise would work well with this group's overall composition. And I am assuming that you mean Pathfinder resources as opposed to OGL 3.5 resources (essentially a matter of having at most 1000 pages of resources to work with compared to having atleast 15000 pages of resources to work with[last I checked I had over 40lbs in source books for the 3.5 OGL)

Well, I can say that I would actually play if this becomes a weekend only game, as the only reason I didn't join in the first place was that 10AM Pacific (noon for me) is literally the worst possible time for me on weekdays as in order to actually attend I would need to skip 75% of my classes, and having a majority of the sessions on those days made it more or less pointless to join (I would spend more time getting caught up on what was happening than actually playing)

Riding a Horse does not in itself provide for an armor class bonus, however it does allow for you to use the Ride skill to perform the Cover action which grants you cover (+4 AC) on a success at the expense of your ability to perform certain actions until you use a move action to return to your normal riding position (even if you fail). If you need help picking feats and such you can ask me if you provide a bit of information on what you are trying to accomplish with your character (otherwise I will generally end up giving standard filler feats [saving throw bonuses, endurance -> diehard, weapon focus, shield focus, mounted combat feats, weapon finese, etc.]) and a few more details such as what order your cavalier is in I could provide advice.

Well, chances are that it doesn't like the Intel HD graphics due to the specifics of how it runs, as Intel HD graphics are integrated into the Intel iX (3, 5, or 7) processors and do not have their own independent memory, and therefore it uses a dynamically sized portion of the memory the processor uses for graphics, which is perfectly fine for most situations. The one major area where Intel HD Graphics runs into issues is running most games, as many modern games are both CPU and GPU intensive leading to both the main processor and the Intel HD graphics trying to get more memory out of the shared supply. (Runescape is a somewhat different case as it uses the CPU for some portions of the graphics processes regardless of what mode you are on.)

If you are using current Science to support use of your Technology, I would advise you use a simple basic test to see if it is reasonable: Does there currently exist a real world device performing a similar application(IE a killer tesla coil to a killer tesla coil, not a demonstration tesla coil to a killer tesla coil, and if the technology is portable is also vitally important) using the same principles, especially when your science supports it being better than everything else? Essentially if your device is not feasible or impractical (IE doesn't get used in the mainstream) in our day and age, then you MUST rely on the soft science provided by Arch as there is a 99.999% chance that some factor puts it out of the limits of modern technology

Chi, you do know you are really getting on everyone's nerves continuing the arguement after being told specifically not to. Also are falling victim to the most common mistake in science courses of not including any units in your work making it into a matter of Magic Numbers (IE none of them mean anything to anyone reading them)

So unless the entire device is based on a static(not moving) magnetic field being produced, the superconductor does essentially nothing

Note, the phrase "Some Assembly Required" is essentially a rule with both of these suggestions and it is on terms of soldering it together, and this carries the normal risks that you run for soldering electronics, unless you purchase them pre assembled (at a somewhat higher cost), which is probably a good idea if you do not have experience soldering. One thing that you may want to look into is Arduinos (I personally have not used them, but several people I know are very much into them) additionally one thing that I have heard about based on Arduino technology is the Hacktivision do it yourself game console. (again I have not personally used this myself)

Okay, I have been experiencing a bug with the Dropdown menu for accessing : My Profile, My Settings, My Content, etc. Specifically in IE 9 whenever the dropdown box is selected it immediately transfers to the My Profile page without allowing any alternative choice. List of Specific details: IE 9 Beta and RC browsers Does not happen on other forums making use of IP Board 3.1.4 Happens on all forum skins viewing the page in compatibility mode fixes the issue (while causing a few display issues on the website and the forum)

To be honest it seems a bit like there is an almost unanimous vote as to who should be captain, however the only vote that really counts is a no.

Just to clarify what you should already know: The Swiss more or less threw out all of their research on Nanites because they were more or less useless following the essentially universal countermeasures put in place, so taking the opportunity of a poorly worded comms request and the trend of the Unity crew never identifiying who they are talking to, Drake developed the Nanite technology and Sold it back to the ship in order to fund private projects while additionally scamming a few crew members.

But no, Lofwyr (who you all call Monty) does not desire the role of Captain, as he views himself as a liason officer from Asgard which is in its opinion a loosely aligned protectorate (that type of thing tends to happen when you insist on absolute control of resources and then totally ignore the place). Currently the Asgard is loosely affiliated with the Unity due to them showing mostly indifference to the conditions aboard the Asgard as opposed to the Germanicus's open aggression and scorched earth tactics, Alpha Prospekt is largely non considered due to the fact that almost nothing is known about it aboard the Asgard.
