I'm not debating whether or not woox had skill, I'm debating whether or not you can count it as a legit food-less solo -
Corporeal beast solo without food / cannon

woox abused a glitch. -
+8 range attack is HUGE btw. not small whatsoever. esp with a rigour-based setup and yea. based on plenty of data (both experiential and logging numbers): -- rigour is better overall dps over an entire kill -- SS flash healing is pretty significant -- turmoil is way better for blood and smoke (clawing out smoke before NO ESCAPE, clawing out blood before siphon with 5 man). 4 man blood with moderns only is quite painful. -- rigour is way better for ss (we once had a 5 minute long ss form, 5 man. no major mistakes, just the dps was low and she healed a lot) if you have everyone on turmoil or everyone on rigour, certain forms will go by very smoothly and others will just be flat out terrible. it's best to have a mix because: -- not everyone is good at ss flashing -- not everyone has rigour+ccb -- it's better to have highly consistent kills

roughly half meleeing with turm and half ranging with rigour Why would it be that way? Can't teams just find 1 method and stick to it? Unless there is some benefit it doing it like that. diminishing returns

high dg level and some semblance of intelligence is way better of an indicator of nex ability

Lol I had tons of ovls by 92 herb I'm just trying to highlight how elitist OTG's 95 herb req is. Heck, I still don't even qualify since I'm 94 herb. Also, apparently using greenman' ale is hard? wtf?

Nope. Sorry but no good team is going to take you with those stats. 91 summoning means your overload supply is limited. Lack of Pack Yak is terrible for your team's efficiency. And of course, a higher range level is crucial. herby shouldnt be an issue because ill just stew overloads and prayers or whateve. that suck though. basically i have max range and get 96 summoning.. :ohnoes: thats gunna be dull.. and then if i get that but only had 100m or so to spend on gear..? Historically speaking, people with 91 Herblore are generally considered as not having Overloads, because: A) Even if you CAN stew to make them, you can't make that many of them. You might have 40-50 of them, but they'll run out sooner or later, and it won't be as easy for you to make more. If you had a good amount of them, you wouldn't be 91 Herblore anymore. B) People with 91 Herblore tend to be more conservative with Overload usage, even if it means not re-potting towards the end of a trip because you don't want to waste a dose for only 30 seconds of benefit. This, in turn, can end up costing your whole team more time and supplies. Even if these don't apply to you personally, this is the general opinion of people making Overloads at 91, so either you're going to have to show them 250+ Overloads, or a better herblore level. 100M should be enough for gear and supplies. A full set of ceremonial is ~10M. Ranger boots are ~20M, Amulet of Fury ~15M. That leaves 55M for potions, bolts, and armor. You won't have Divine/Elysian obviously but you could just get Unholy Book / Dragon Defender / EEKS. Speaking of EEKS, you will need some chaotics though. Exact number varying per team, but generally teams require anywhere between 2 and 4 chaotics (rigour being counted as one). Couldn't you just do the logout trick to make as many overloads as you want? Or has this been fixed? What he is saying is that, with the experience OVL give, if you are level 91 herb then you undoubtedly have not made many and therefore do not have many to use. As a result, people with 91 herb are likely to be more conservative with their OVL, which is a detriment to the team. Just because you are level 91 doesn't automatically mean you can't make a lot of OVLs tho, which is what his point A) was kind of getting at. If you have enough money and the logout trick still works you could theoretically make as many as you want. If you made that many overloads, you wouldn't be 91 herb anymore. Well actually, if you just dinged 91 you could make another 537 overloads without leveling, according to the tip.it skill calculators. That's assuming you made the extremes already tho. which you wouldnt have, because extreme range requires 92 herb false, you can greenman ale (m) from 90, greenman ale from 91, stew from 87 (theoretically 86)

So All these noobs Did herblore for bxpw....

There is no "wrong number". You need more, you make more. Given enough time, even if you did overloads from 91-99, you'll still need more. Lol that's like 3000 ovls or more. Let's not forget opportunity cost of bxp -

So... I won't use the overloads and extremes I made for 99 herblore? That's... a nice assumption, I guess? You'll have made the wrong number because theres no way of knowing exactly how many super prays, exts, and ovls you'll use -
That only matters if your sol tank fails at drawing aggro Also shadow is only 1/5 not 1/4
-
was a combination of good merch and complete idiocy on the other person's side he was desperate and the supply was artificially low due to bxp

As it is the case for most skills, so we should all stop trying and not train skills beyond what is useful right now... What is your point? It's best to use bonus xp on the most expensive training methods as the bonus applies to any gp/xp you receive, and win most money the higher gp/xp the skill is. Herblore, even at 92+ is a great choice for this as it is reasonably the most expensive bonus skill(prayer would be about on par, but bonus doesn't apply here). No because unlike other skills, you gain large amounts of herb xp naturally (i.e. making pots that you actually use). -
Best to have a mix of turm and rigour. Blood is a lot easier with turm and ss is a lot easier with rigour
-
Lmao Studio just cause you have a dinkly little disclaimer doesnt mean your original argument doesn't suck
-
Oh rofl. Guess my hope of full virtus being useful got shot down
-
on the only stage worth using mage ( the sol tank) Is the healing from blood enough for you not to brew? What's the accuracy

Beyond level 94 training herb is a complete waste of bxp since you will need to make potions (and thus get xp) anyway. In other word, once you can make ovls with greenman ale, herb levels are completely useless and should be valued at 0 gp/xp -

melee pray reduces damage by a lot on smoke and blood (170->34), but im pretty sure magic pray does some reduction too. but it's not always consistent and it seems to be around the 20% range when it dose work.
