And i can get ~12gp/xp with just normal exp... cba thinking how much with a 2+ multiplier.

 

Anyway apparently the smart thing is to not do herblore etc now and do skills u hate instead...

I hate herblore.

I just wanted 70 on my main because 70+ all is a major goal of mine, getting it out of the road at the cost of a few mil doesn't bother me.

I dont even understand... Why would you not train herblore? It saves hella lot of money!

I've not done herblore since I'm not that bothered about training it up *shrug* I couldn't have afforded a decent amount of supplies anyway.

on topic : i hate all skills pretty much, except combat. herblore is just the only skill im ever going to use other than combats. and i find it boring as, i really dont mind spending the money i hate it that much.

Almost all of them crashed at different times.

 

Bought plenty of sara brews (4) for 5.5k each.

Thats why i'm not selling my potions now. I'm planning on waiting at least 2 weeks hoping prices will stabilise and/or dump mine with merchants who are hoarding pots atm.

Well I bought my supplies like 3-4 days before the weekend, and my GP/xp for herblore started at around 7 and gradually increased to 14 - 28 (depending on what I was making, extremes being at the higher end)

 

This is without a scroll of cleansing. So herblore costed about the same but I saved myself like 10 hours which is like 20m. So guess I'm a n00b but whatever, I hate clicking and that's all I care about. I can make back the money I spent merchanting in a week.

I spent 40 odd mil on herblore for this weekend, and I saved at least 30 mil by doing this.

I spent 120m-ish on herb. Hello 96 herby. Buh bye brown spice. Lol :P

Ten hour of bonus xp averages out to about 1.7x bonus, so as long as you pay less than 170% of normal prices and have 10 hours or less of supplies you save money, personally I played it smart, got all my torstol seeds for normal price and farmed just under 2k torstols in the run up to the weekend which should only take 2/3 hours to make, haven't started yet because of being busy irl but its saving me mills so I'm not complaining :thumbup:

In any case, for people who bought supplies after the announcement and made tradeable pots, they effectively wasted their bonus modifiers for nothing, but it's quite not the case for people who made untradeable pots or got the supplies beforehand. I needed more super prayers anyway, and i seriously doubt i could have gotten the supplies for half the price at some other time.

When doing untradeable pots, its wise to use BXP on Herblore.

It's best to use bonus xp on the most expensive training methods as the bonus applies to any gp/xp you receive, and win most money the higher gp/xp the skill is. Herblore, even at 92+ is a great choice for this as it is reasonably the most expensive bonus skill(prayer would be about on par, but bonus doesn't apply here).

This lazy packrat started to sell off her pots from *last* bonus exp weekend when this weekend was announced, and sold herb supplies from kingdom the day before bonus weekend started. Finally made some money ;)

You'll have made the wrong number because theres no way of knowing exactly how many super prays, exts, and ovls you'll use

There is no "wrong number". You need more, you make more.

 

Given enough time, even if you did overloads from 91-99, you'll still need more.
