  1. This belongs in the "Varrock Library" Forum. I suggest you correct your spelling and grammar first though.
  2. Aw I missed it. Should have checked back here, I could have worked out the worlds from the second set of clues. I decided there was no way I was going to every world looking for people, already guessed the locations correctly. Oh well I got a range lvl instead.
  3. Anywhere with a safe spot. Try alkarid scorpions or the zammy mage under the stairs in varrock castle.
  4. Seeing how your range is under lvl 50, I would advise you NOT to try and kill lesser demons. Train on hill giants or guards. The cheapest arrows are in the store in varrock, 18gp for iron arrows normally. 1000 arrows will be enough. And as miner i says, either your friend is amazingly lucky or he is lying, just ask to see it and you will know.
  5. Yeah he said F2P, you should all read his posts properly. I train mostly at moss giants in varrock sewer (77 range), as I want the bones, but its not the fastest as its multicombat. Its good if you are alone though. Someone posted fairly recently about achieving 99 range in F2P, they trained on the lesser demon in the lava maze in the wild. Not many ppl there, if you have high enough combat pkers won't be a problem, and you can just get out the addys...
  6. Get some friends and go cabbage bombing in F2P :D Quests are good too i'm sure, better if you find someone to do them with you.
  7. The reason for this is that P2Pers can make more money than F2P, whether by skills or merchanting. They also have more expensive things to buy, e.g. barrows, dragon etc. P2P money is like F2P money on a larger scale, so you need more money to be considered rich. Also consider the fact that P2Pers have on average been playing the game much longer, more time to make the money, and higher skills to do so.
  8. I'm pretty sure wine gives 110 xp and not 200 as stated. Tipit cooking calculator says 200, cooking guide says 110. Do wines ferment in the bank? Because you could sell cooking xp if they do, the way people sell mage xp in the arena. I personally never bothered with wine much, made a few in the guild once, but I've been cooking fish 99% of the time.
  9. I say no to both suggestions. Auto dropping isn't necessary. I reached 85 mining by mining and dropping over 50k iron ores, no complaints. I just worked hard. Mining the same rock as it is, is indeed annoying if your connection is slower for example, or when people follow you around in the mining guild. This idea would increase the number of higher ores in the game though. There are over 9000 people who can mine runite. If for example, 1000 of them went mining together, forgetting organisation issues, but they wouldn't be pked, and 1000 rune ores would come into the game from every rock. Yep, 12mil gp of stuff every minute or so. And don't bother flaming me about this, its purely hypothetical and not gonna happen, I'm just illustrating my point.
  10. Half wines weren't a drop either, though we're going off topic here. "Rares" i.e. discontinued items, will remain tradable, and no new ones will be made. No holiday or one time drops in future will be tradable, as Jagex have stated that the current situation with the rare item prices was not intended, though it was unforseeable. They will continue to be tradable, due to the outcry which would occur if they changed this. And yes, in the long term prices will continue to rise, as more people can afford them, and more get lost from bans, alchs, eating, or just people who keep them forever and so take them from the market (like my santa hat). It is also worth noting that the price cap has been increased from ~2.1bil (think it was about 2^31 or 2.147bil) to an amount no one is likely to reach. I think the value is around 2^63 now, if you want figures. This is due to binary coding. There was a thread about this a while ago, use search button.
  11. False, I'm F2P TPUM has a skill at exactly lvl 60.
  12. 6 mimes 3 drill demon 2 freaky forrester 50+ frogs, don't count anymore. Edited 23 june
  13. Probably the coal trucks, but a P2Per could answer better than me.
  14. Woodcutting. I stopped at lvl 77 for 5 months though, my cooking and mining have gone way past now.
  15. Report her for item scamming!!! .......JK Anchovy pizza heals 18hp. 2 bites 9hp each. Price is up to the seller. Jagex pick who they want to for modship. I spoke to a mod who had been playing for under 3 months when they got their crown, some mods played for years before becoming one. I hate the way people judge you by your combat lvl. Being lvl 3 doesn't make you less knowledgeable or less helpful than a lvl 126.
  16. There is lobby fishing spot in Lvl 35-36 Wildy. There is???? Did you mean the bandit camp? Bandit camp fishing is for shrimps and anchovies. I heard theres a lob spot near the lava maze, but this might be a load of rubbish, and karamja would be better anyway. Now for the BEST lobster fishing method. Wield:air staff Inventory:about 40 laws and 40 water runes, lob pot, 30gp Take the boat to Karamja. Uses 30gp so you should have 25 free spots. Fish 25 raw lobs. Tele to falador. On the way to the east bank you pass a house with a range. Use it! Range burns less than fire. Bank in fally east, deposit lobs, withdraw 30gp. Repeat! 40 trips for 1k lobs. This is suitable if your cooking lvl means you burn few or no lobs, or if you don't mind banking less than a full load cos of burning. Also means you never have to wait for a fire on karamja, and can laugh at the people saying "fire plz". This is the best method I found, coming from a lvl 78 F2P fisher. :D
  17. RSC is unavailable to you unless you played it before, and have membership. You are playing RS2. So, certs do not exist anymore. You can note items, by going to your bank screen, theres a bit at the bottom where you choose to withdraw as "item" or "note". Select note and get your stuff out. Doesn't work for stackable items like gp, runes, and feathers, but most things can be noted. Noted items are not usuable, except for trading. You can unnote buy putting in the bank. Noted items are worth exactly the same as normal items. Examining a noted item says: Exchange this at a bank for iron ore/ rune platebody/ whatever it is.
  18. What they said, but save as a .PNG, the quality is better and its a small filesize. Seeing as you are new to tip.it, it might be a good time to think about the way you present your posts. Good spelling and grammar is always better.
  19. Lol! (siggied  ) I should probably contribute to the thread, so yeah, plus 12 defence is better than not having it, and if you are rich enough, no harm in spending on something useful. But its mostly for status, like having full dragon.
  20. Crafting buy hides, or if you don't want to buy stuff, make bowls in the crafting guild. You don't have to leave the guild ever. Mining: powermine iron in alkarid. 4 lvls isnt too much, just mine and drop. Fishing and cooking: fly fish in barbarian village. Fastest xp by a long way and you shouldn't burn anything. Range: hill giants if you want b bones, theres safe spots. Hobgoblins by the crafting guild if you don't mind losing arrows, guards in edgeville if you want to pick up arrows. Melee: take you pick from hill giants, hobgoblins, guards, deadly red spiders, skeletons... the list goes on. Probably not mossies unless you want the drops, same with lessers. Couple of things I dunno if you know about... sharks are members and you need 76 fishing for them. 68 fishing gets you into the fishing guild, also members, though you can get in at a lower lvl with the right potion or pie. 65 cooking doesn't burn lobs, if you have cooking gauntlets. These are members too. So you keep burning some until over lvl 70 (tipit says lvl 75). Just said this as you say you are F2P.
  21. I think its really sad that people lure at all, based on trust. I do wonder why you took everything you had to lvl 45 wild though....you probably have at least some wildy experience. I remember getting lured when I was much lower, lost all my money too, but I'd never been to the wild before. 600k is a huge amount for you, barely anything for him, makes it even more sad. Well hopefully you can pick yourself up from it and come out better. After a while you will have been through every scam and you'll never fall for anything again, like me.
  22. I think tip.it and Jagex have done a great job in light of the situation. Suitable action has been taken by both parties. It shows why you should use a different password for everything. I used a different password here than for any of my rs accounts, which are all different too. Hopefully this will raise points about account security for people who use the same pass, or don't set bank pins or recovery questions. If people just followed the guidelines there wouldn't be such a fuss. I assume the people complaining about their account being locked would much rather have someone else using it and taking all their stuff...
  23. LOL!!! I never even thought of adding myself to ignore. Yeah, why exactly were you on your own ignore list?
  24. I looked at the magic guide and the calculator to compare the xp shown. The calculator shows the average xp per cast, so it should take around 9.5k fire strikes to get to 59.
  25. Why is this in P2P forum, its an update for everyone? I still lag when I turn music on, not that i'm particularly bothered. Still play without any sound on low detail. The chat lag is a little annoying, but in a few days we'll all be used to it I suppose. No macroers??!! *heads off to yew trees*
