  1. If they get him to full hp, you're waaay too slow attacking them. You need to put a bolt in each one before killing any, so they all attack you and stop attacking Jad. In the event of them healing Jad fully, I would recommend simply not killing them. I don't think any will spawn if the original group is still alive. Turn on steel skin and continue attacking Jad.
  2. Reinstall Java.
  3. What I would do is earn the tokens for the gloves all at once, which do stack, and then run back and buy another pair every 1k ess.
  4. It's not a 99, but train summoning to 88. That unicorn is amazing.
  5. What does being F2P have to do with anything? Your default character has a choice between silver, gold, and no armbands.
  6. Try this: Change your armband color from silver to gold and see if the boots change. I think it's the clothes shop that changes that.
  7. I have tried it myself- I remember being pissed off because I accidentally sliced a pineapple and couldn't make a pizza out of it. This was years ago, so if you're not lying I guess they changed it.
  8. Could it be tied to pants color? I know there was a glitch where Torag's legs changed color according to pants color.
  9. Yeah, I believe so. It's pretty big, and has coal, iron, mith, and maybe addy if I remember correctly.
  10. I think the mine north of Yanille has a couple places that are in an okay powermining position.
  11. I just don't see the advantage to doing MTK with a spirit tree. Fairy rings are 100% better, nothing you've said has actually been a good reason to use the tree instead. If I had a tree on Miscellania anyway, without having to sacrifice anything, I would STILL use fairy rings. The run across the island alone would be enough to dissuade me from wanting to pick some cheap berries. @Anon: no, you can only have one period.
  12. Go ahead and try to put a slice of pineapple on a pizza and tell me how it works out. You need diced. As much as you noobs would like to remake the rules of the forum, guides don't belong here. You can tell by the fact that this is the only guide on the whole first page, whereas the AoW is full of them. If you think I'm a wannabe mod, fine, but that doesn't make me wrong.
  13. Yes, I know that the spirit tree patch is all the way across the island from the castle. If you mean the bush patch... berries are just not worth enough to sacrifice your only spirit tree on. You could put one on Brimhaven instead and use it to pick coconuts.
  14. Regardless of what you thought, you're in the wrong forum. Your player-made guide goes in the forum with the description involving player-made guides.
  15. How do you figure? Quickest way to a fairy ring- teleport to slayer cave with ring of slaying, which places you ridiculously close to a fairy ring. Quickest way to a spirit tree- teleport Edgeville with a glory and run all the way into the GE to the spirit tree. Note: this method passes almost directly past a fairy ring on the way. The code for Miscellania is CIP, which happens to take one click to enter. Then you're near the maples, which are easy to get percentage from, and right next to the castle for collecting stuff.
  16. That's it? Why is this something I need to be "familiar" with? Isn't it basically "stand in the corner and shoot," or is there more to it? Won't she go far enough that people will have to leave their corner and run after her and make everything messy?
  17. Definitely don't do that if you have access to fairy rings. It's further from where you want to be, making it effectively useless.
  18. This forum is for asking questions, the player made guides go over there *points at Archive of Wisdom*.
  19. So I decided I might get back into team boss hunting (I've been soloing Bandos and Sara a lot lately because I'm too lazy to find a team and then dedicate 3 hours straight to boss hunting). I went to the Events forum and found neat little stickies for GWD teams. Clicked my way into the Sara one, because she is by far my favorite boss, and found this craziness about some newfangled "Box" method. Why, back in MY day, we used the run like hell until she tries to shank your teammate method, and we didn't have none of these newfangled angular shapes. Oh and also the hide in the safespot and be cheap method, after that became public. So anyway, what's the box method? I Googled and Youtubed it up and can't seem to find anything about it. I would just ask a team to explain it to me, but they seem pretty clear on the point that you're already supposed to know it. Thanks :D
  20. Do Sara, and STICK WITH IT. It took me a while, but I did eventually get a 35M split of a sara hilt, plus 9Mish from sword drops. Sara's high agility requirement keeps out the noobs who don't know what they're doing for the most part- I've only been with one bad team, and they were bad because they were jerks, not necessarily because they were bad at killing Sara. Most teams are quite good, and if you keep up with them you'll probably kill 60+ in one trip. My luck is terrible too, but God Wars is nice because it does reward hard work. Killing things for visages and dragon armor is just playing with ridiculous odds on easy monsters, but the God Wars bosses have a realistic chance of dropping their good stuff; they're just really tough.
  21. What's confusing? Kill monsters for charms. Buy shards and empty pouches from the quest guy. Obtain secondary ingredients however you want. Types and quantities of all of these can be found in any Summoning guide. Then, take all of those things to the obelisk and make them into pouches. This gives you experience. To summon a familiar, get a pouch (probably from the GE or making it yourself) and and click Summon.
  22. I guess where I'm confused is why the hell you haven't just gone and tried yet, if you're not worried about what happens when you die.
  23. You keep talking about going to "Get your stuff back." If you have less than 3 items, that's a non-issue. I'm not saying you're definitely going to be able to do the crawl, but I am saying that you're worrying more about the dying aspect than you need to.
  24. Why are you bringing stuff with you? Just bank everything and then it doesn't matter if you die!
  25. Weird, I've never had a feather. And I've used that thing a lot.
