I'd say so - I used it for about 6 or 7 tasks and I did not really notice any improvement.(every time it gave me a message it was basically just a emerald or sapphire - or a clue) I was really hoping for it to improve charm drops, seeing as they borked some charm drop with the update.

It was a randomly generated guess. But by looking at some of the drops, 10 palm seeds, 50+ torstols, 5000+ coal, and given the fact that they're not that rare I wouldn't think that I was too far off. Yes but it's a lot of work. Some tasks use berserker/ferocious like usual, like hellhounds.

I think something is wrong with the charm drops. 190 hellhounds and I have 26 gold 5 blue 11 crimson and 15 green. If the *possibly* extra 2-3 blue is somehow supposed to make up for a loss of like 80 golds I don't really welcome it...

Depends if you are looking to be efficient or you just don't care. Even if you bought at inflated prices you still would have saved 3-18 hours as long as you didn't buy TOO high.

I feel pretty confident they will go up a little bit after the weekend...

I kill 28 a trip banking the bones with a war tortoise, piety and without cannon not maxed with whip using monkfish. I don't know the max you can get for a task but I'd think you'd be able to do almost all tasks in one trip.

Has anybody bought/sold stuff like Bandos/DFS and can say if they are recovering yet?

Well I bought my supplies like 3-4 days before the weekend, and my GP/xp for herblore started at around 7 and gradually increased to 14 - 28 (depending on what I was making, extremes being at the higher end) This is without a scroll of cleansing. So herblore costed about the same but I saved myself like 10 hours which is like 20m. So guess I'm a n00b but whatever, I hate clicking and that's all I care about. I can make back the money I spent merchanting in a week.

I don't think you'll get 85 herblore, maybe 82-83, max 84. And there's not much you can sell either. 4m is locked up in very important items (Slayer helm, whip and misc). So you have 38m to spend. If you want to be sure you'll make it, make an extra 8m or so. (66 > 88 will cost me 50m, and I'll be able to start at higher potions, taking better advantage of my 2.7 and 2.55 bonus)

Because it's certainly not possible they recovered the account using safety questions. Unlikely? Yes, but better than being a asshat.

Does anyone have the formula for calculating the average bonus exp over a certain period of time?

It doesn't help when a bunch of kids bot up a bunch of pures and don't care if a crappy shield slot costs 10m when they can bot 3m a night.

Okay so I have 65 herblore, what would be the best way to get 88 by the end of the weekend? Should I get some levels before hand or what? I know one of you guys out there have the calculations done already ｡◕ ‿ ◕｡

I don't know how you could be factually wrong about this. Fairy ring doesn't bother me much with fercoious rings, the only time you'll be using them is after you've gotten a new task. Does Kuradel even assign anything in the caves? Tarns lair... you got me there. But how often are you even going to go there, that depends if OP has terror dogs blocked or not. All the good stuff that is in the slayer tower is in Ancient Cavern. Just my two cents.

If it's your first time I would suggest finding a suicider, or someone who wants to solo hybrid.

Also Furys are pretty low in price because of the exp weekend, so if you buy it now I am willing to bet you 1M that in 2 weeks after the event fury will rise 1M and you'll actually straight up profit from your investment. That goes without even mentioning that a fury will hold it's price over the long run (tokkul isn't that convenient to get anymore) and you can always resell it back later.

To clarify, most bots just run the Runescape Applet. Imagine downloading the "Runescape[Caution: Executable File]" (Java does not have exe's but it's in a way similar) and basically they call the Java Runtime files to run the java file.
